  1. ...are they 'new' , i've never heard of them.
  2. I too believed that Proctor showed potential in his early displays in an ICT jersey, but I'm afraid his star didn't really shine bright enough to fullfil his destiny in a red and blue strip.
  3. ...oh well looks like Sandy has come good with his prediction
  4. Don't forget to mention that before ICT reached the SPL, the club from the 'hamlet' and surrounding areas had for season after season more fans than the Inverness club. And offcourse if the SPL club ever dropped out of the top flight the recent influx of shoppers..*cough*.. supporters would probably return to what they do best too. It's also rumoured that at Dingwall turnstyles if you told them you married your cousin they counted you twice.
  5. Aye Charles, just a hint of weary cynicism creeping in there, though I bet you love it really. You cannae have many years left I'll wager, less than me at any rate.... ...I thought that when he taught (?) me...can't be long now CB.
  6. I watched crash, not sure what to make of it, good atmospheric stuff, lots of good acting and direction - i just couldn't figure out what the deal was , it does show how paths cross but i didn't think there was that much of a story...I might point out that i was a little bit drunk at the time though. I likened the experience of watching it to watching Lost In Translation - excellent direction , really good acting, and although you know the situation which is taking place you just feel there must be more to it, and personally speaking , i was waiting for something (more) to happen.
  7. I remember... " My mu'errr an yoor mu'err were hangeen out the clothes, My mu'err punched yoor mu'err on the nose - what colour was the blood?" Wow, what a flashback.
  8. I'd be more pi$$ed off if I was Mark Brown, as he has done as much as any keeper in the country to earn a place in the squad...fcuk David Marshall.
  9. Dead Mans Shoes...caught a wee bit of this on film4 the other night , gritty British drama , didn't catch much of the beginning but it ends up basically a one man vengeance deathfest , very unstylised , brilliant ' nut job ' acting by the hero/villain as he terrorizes his targets - Id certainly watch it again ( in fact its a defo ) and as its film4 it'll probably be repeated every other night.
  10. ...just for Oats... The Vaselines - Jesus Don't Want Me For A Sunbeam ...and on a brighter note... Janes Addiction - Been Caught Stealing. smile :003:

    The Boy Proctor

I'm waiting for Real's late bid.
  13. :001: :006: ...and of course you can claim all the VAT back once it's built too.
  14. are they unhappy? black said only a few days ago he wanted to sign on for another 2 years as gratitude for us saving his career we may have three unhappy players if we are to believe that they would be interested in talking terms with ET and are being refused permission to talk. There is a lot of misinformation floating about which naturally is unsettling for those involved , and it looks like continuing in this fashion now that officialy the business is finished. So has Black signed his deal then?
  15. The UN is as much use as a chocolate fireguard , or the League Of Nations for that matter , which is one of the reasons the Israelis ride roughshod over it so much - another reason is because Israel is ( and i can't see a day in the near future when it won't be ) very strongly backed by the US , another country who pay so much attention to the UN....but to hit them with missiles, well that takes the biscuit especially when you take into account the cutting edge technology they have at their disposal with armaments and telecoms...what was it four times the UN obs guys told them to quit...oh well, fifth time lucky!!
  16. The point seems to me to be are the players actually interested?...it wouldn't be hard for Brewster or anyone at Tannadice to leak information regarding wages or terms which could quickly find its way north...not tapping-up by any standards ,merely planting the seeds of discontent , devilishly low tactics if you're on the receiving end... ...so we may have three unhappy first team players on the books but after DS statement we may be unable to sell them to the only club who's interested. What are we to do??
  17. ...perhaps in the recent transfer dealings but as mentioned this was after we began talks with the payer, but around the January transfer window I think you'll find a lot of paper talk regarding CC and GB and the Rankin saga...both before and after the official approach ( which as we know was knocked back). It was definitely a case of using the media for our gain then.
  18. It's very early to start castigating the incoming chairman for things that haven't even happened yet , but with his business record and far-reaching contacts I would hope there are more positives than negatives in the medium to long term of his tenure. The issue of foreign players comes with its pros and cons , but from the point of view of a small club with minimal revenues surely the chance of getting quality young players with potential for onward sale must be regarded as a reasonably low risk venture...if - and I'm sure the boss of a worldwide recruitment company can - get it done right.
  19. Was there not also a problem, due to squad sizes being tight and if players were needed for the senior team that anyone registered for the HL would be unable to play in the SFL/SPL? I remember us being keen on the idea as the general opinion at the time was that the HL would be a better level for young / reserve players than the reserve league.
  20. Is no-one going to comment on TJE's fair point??
