  1. I just think it's odd to chase people - we pretty much know if we want to renew or not! Why waste time phoning round - why not investigate after you have the final figures! Maybe I'm wrong, but the interest free option doesn't exist. It's interest free to spread the cost, but then there is a "small charge" of ?12.50 I think every time they debit monies from your account! So if you spread it over 4 months - that's an extra ?50! Maybe they can get some kind of incentive sorted out for next year? I know they want the money early, and staff is short in the shop, but that's not good enough! What do they expect when all they give us is a cr@ppy portacabin to go and buy tickets from! They need to invest and show us why we should invest in them! Rant over! Mrs PB
  2. Just wondered if anyone else had been telephoned about renewing? I?ve heard from a few at work that have had enough and aren?t renewing this season. We had a phone call from the Club last night asking why we hadn?t renewed yet? Seems a bit desperate? Sorry, but if you offer no incentive (as most other clubs do) to renew early, then we have every right to hold onto our dosh until the last minute and earn the interest (paltry as it might be) ourselves! :blah01: Mrs PB
  3. Your interviewing technique was a joy to watch?it was the way you went from ?who?s been your toughest opponent??to ?what?s your favourite colour? in a seamless Peroni/Miller infused single bound! Superb! Paxman has nothing on you! Mrs PB x
  4. Who would be the first three names on your Team Sheet for Barry?s Testimonial v Liverpool XI??..anyone you like past or present?. (Gawd only knows who?ll you?ll find to put wide right! :004:) Results from the ?Jury? at the Player?s Sponsorship Do last Night? TM4TJ 1. Bobby Mann 2. Bobby Mann 3. Bobby Mann Gringo 1. 5. Top work Troops! :021: :clapping03: :021: Just heard Border Control has finally caught Gringo attempting to leave Birmingham. (They had to move the Blocks further South, he kept getting past em?!). You?ll probably reach Inverness before he does! :015: Mrs PB x
  6. Looks like it's not just Players we pinch! :015: I believe County sold one of their Youth players to Liverpool, with one of the Clauses in the Contract being a Friendly with County in the future. Coincidence...hmmmmm! Mrs PB
  7. Just wanted to say Good Luck to the Troops! Not long to go at all now! Hope the weather holds, and you get a good bit o? sun! PB?s had lots of giggles Marching ? mostly at Gringo?s expense! :blah01: Strange things happen when your Marching ? you start looking forward to seeing Caley D, find yourself getting intensely competitive over Junior Scrabble, and take to eating Tinned Curry! Great memories! Enjoy yourself guys ? we?ll be there at the end with a Pint and a hug! To the Virgins ? relax and enjoy yourself! You will do it, believe in yourself! Watch out for Grenades and Frogs! To the Veterans ? have a blast! Time to enjoy all your hard work! To the General ? hope your red bits heal in time! :016: Take care guys ? have a good ?un! PB?s xxx
  8. The irony of your post is lost on you isn't it! :016:
  9. Excellent post Tuggles! :clapping03: :021: :clapping03: As Jnr says, the West Midlands Branch (apart from two Stragglers) have all migrated North. Since we moved back to Inverness nearly two years ago, PB?s haven?t missed a Home Game (League or Cup), and it?s getting harder and harder to motivate ourselves to go! We used to bound into The Innes, get the Craic, off to Footie, then back to the pub afterwards dissecting every pass. Brilliant laugh! Now we just get bus there, bus home and get it all over with as soon as possible ? really disheartened! :007: :007: I sat there on Saturday, watching Hart and Wilson? and started reminiscing about the good olde days! When the most embarrassing thing was listening to Grassa?s accent on North Tonight, and the SPL seemed decades away! Just needed Keogh to blast up the wing, Hissy to come on and bring Mee to another state of frenzy and Golly to get stuck into them! Don?t know if it?s because it?s been a really long season, because the SPL attracts a lot more attention and problems, all the recent shenanigns, or maybe a build up of it all. I?d really like the Board to have a long hard think about the way Supporters are treated, cut the cr@p and bring back some honestly! We are this clubs future ? we deserve better! Mrs PB
  10. For a Teacher your no' very good at counting....June 2009! :016: Cheeky bVggar - that's you going head first down the bowling lane - no bumpers either - perfect strike!!! :blah01: Mrs PB x
  11. If the failed 21/7 bombers had just waited three more days, we'd all be calling them the 24/7 bombers. This would imply that they blow things up all day every day and, despite their actual lack of success, make them at least sound like they were good at bombing. Christina Martin, London I just saw a van drive by with the company name 'Seafood Solutions'. I must admit, I didn't know seafood was a problem. Martin Kristos It is said that gentlemen prefer blondes. I hope then that lesbians prefer brunettes, otherwise we might have to organise some kind of rota system. Johnny Pring I'm beginning to think there may be something in this climate change after all. Four months ago it was very cold and now it's quite warm. Alan Heath A woman whose daughter was hospitalised in a US tornado told ITV News that "God would make her better." presumably, that's a different God from the one that almost killed her with a tornado. M Lovejoy "She can dish it out, but she cannot take it", I once heard someone say of me. And it's true - I'm a school dinner lady and I'm allergic to mashed potatoes. Mrs Pinches, Hereford I heard on the news that the January storms had cost this country a billion pounds. What an utter waste of money. If anything, they did more harm than good. S Prodnipple, Scarborough So Princes Harry and William are throwing a party to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their mother's death. I'm glad that they can finally laugh about it, but throwing a party seems a bit harsh. D Antarctica, Rhyll I think Sir Paul McCartney should try to put his current predicament into perspective. In olden days, if you were unfortunate enough to be robbed by an omniped, it would almost certainly be a pirate. At least he's going to come out of this alive. Stella Matlock What is it with diabetics? One minute they're on the floor with a loved one standing by screaming "Give him some chocolate! Give him some chocolate!" The next day someone offers them a piece of chocolate and quick as a flash they say "No thanks, I'm diabetic." I wish they'd get their story straight. T Potter Yesterday I received an e-mail from a bored housewife looking for some action. Eager to please the young lady I sent her my ironing. That should keep her quiet for a while. Warren THIS new police knife amnesty is a bloody nightmare. I dutifully handed all my knives in and now I've got nothing to eat my dinner with. Richard Karslake, Oxfordshire TO THE zookeeper in 1978 who replied "I'll tell you when you're older" when I asked him why one of the monkeys stuck its tongue up another one's arse: I'm 36 now and still waiting for that explanation. Joe McKeown I HAVE just returned from a diplomatic trip to the Congo and I can testify that at no point did I see anyone drinking Um Bongo. Neil Palmer I'M A terrorist, and when ID cards come into force I will probably employ great cunning and not declare that as my job. I'll probably say I'm a grocer or something. A Terrorist WHY DON'T NHS bosses start hiring obsessive compulsives as nurses? Their attention to hygiene and constant hand washing would see an end to MRSA outbreaks in no time. Stu Bray 'Alton Towers - Where the magic never ends', or so the commercial says. Imagine my disappointment when it closed at 7.30. Colum Hill 'Tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak', sang Thin Lizzy in 1976, 'somewhere in this town'. Well, I'm guessing it's going to be at the prison. Raymond
  12. Looking forward to it - 4 tickets for us please! Mrs PB :blob06: :boldblue: :blob06: :boldblue:
  13. :love10: :love10: :love10: "Hello, is that Heilandee...Aye, she's polished off all that pudding!" :015: :018: :015: 29-03-08_2007.jpg_thumb

  15. Yeah... I love the guy too, Steph, although maybe in a different kind of a way from you..!! I dunno...you make one comment...okay maybe a couple...okay I give up! :015: Seriously, he's the same kind of guy as Parkie, passionate, not afraid to tell it like it is, and from what I've seen, keeps issues inhouse. Yep, our guys could learn alot! :015:
  16. Did anyone see Yogi's post-match interview after the Aberdeen v Falkirk Game....respect! :clapping03: There's a guy who tells it like it is, knows how to motivate his players, knows how to attract great prospects...Stokes.....Schmeichel........future Scotland Manager in the making. Our guys could learn quite a bit from him! Alex - I'm allowed to have favourites! :016: :015: :016: Mrs PB
  17. Manager - Yogi Asst - Parkie Mrs PB
  18. I had to laugh when I saw the Snow yesterday - serves them right! Absolute nonsense - what the **** does it have to do with Inverness! Mrs PB
  19. Rory has been scoring for fun in the reserves for the last 3/4 seasons, he has had his chance in the first team for the past 3 seasons and done absolutely nothing, its time to cut the strings and give one of the other boys a chance! :025: :025: :025: Absolutely - the step up from Reserves to the SPL is far too much for him, he's just not up to it! Mrs PB
  20. :rotflmao: With the exception of Proctor, you might have a point! Mrs PB
  21. "Hey and dont forget Steph..............................I'll be there too :003:" Looking forward to it! Gringo has managed to get over the Border again too! Going to have a right giggle! :party01: Mrs PB x
  22. :blush02: :dancing03: :blush02: Maybe the Immortal One too....spoilt us ladies will be, absolutely spoilt! A very happy Mrs PB x
  23. Does that mean we would get Yogi? :004: :021: :004: Bring it on, bring Parkie back - there would never be a roof on the feckin dug out! :015: Mrs PB
  24. Just read the article, Denzil comes out of it very well, no moaning, just straight talking! "I have had a great relationship with the fans, but I can't see me staying" "The chances of me staying at Inverness are highly unlikely after what's happened and it's time to move on" Why on earth would you treat anyone like this? Fair enough, if they weren't sure about offering him a new deal, and wanted to weigh up a few options. But to have it ready, then withdraw at the last minute smacks of complete and utter incompetence! No lessons have been learnt at all from the Dods and Rankin fiascos! At least you always knew where you stood with Mr Sutherland!
