I agree with ICTFCKev It was a bad tackle but I've seen 10 times worse than that... I remember Reading's Stephen Hunt was the victim of an awful tackle against someone a couple of weeks ago, I cant remember who, but no action was taken at all, no free kick or anything... and the tackle was half way up his leg! It was an unfortunate tackle, as Taylor was just clumsy and went in late on eduardo, accidentally as far as I can tell. I would think maybe a 3 match ban would suffice.

More bizarre decisions tonight... McBain selected ahead of Blackie after Saturday's performance... Is there something we're missing Brew? Is McBain actually contributing something we're not seeing??

that is possibly the strangest formation I have ever seen Well.... It's very pretty and it does have certain symmetrical qualities, but I think we might get murdered through the middle with just Hart or McBain in there. exactly you've got a brilliant holding player in russell and blackie who can certainly play there so to have neither there seems a bit tactless. What about putting Black in the centre, paati on the left and dropping hart?/mcbain?

There was one commentator not sure which one... but he was awful at player's names. He used to cover us all the time in our first SPL season. Instead of Juanjo (wan-jo) and keogh (kee-o) We had Kwon-jo and kee-ock It really was funny listening to this guy. Not sure his name though.

I also follow Liverpool, and on some of the forums down there its virtually against the law to say anything against Carragher or Gerrard, I'm beginning to think the same might go for Rossco up here? :024: :024:

The problem is what if the assistant makes a mistake? Ross might be 100% spot on, but if he just stands around with his arm in the air, and the ref says onside, the opposition could run through and score, where as if Ross had played to the whistle he could have prevented the goal. And I wasn't insulting Ross. Give credit where credits due, and criticism where criticisms due. Isn't that the point of forums like this? For fans to come on and discuss whats going on at the club, and give their opinions? And in my opinion, Ross was very poor yesterday, but your entitled to your own. I hope the comment about Marius wasn't aimed at me? I've been criticised on here before for being too generous to Marius, as even when he wasn't scoring I was praising him on here, as I always thought the effort was always there with Marius, and he contributed much to the team.

Don't get me wrong, in his day Ross was an awesome player, but he either needs a kick up the backside, as imo his form of late has been poor, or he needs to be replaced. Simple as.

Yup, I thought he had a good game and Burke had to resort to blatant cheating to get anything out of Tokely. His miss at the end was shocking and because of that it will be the big black mark against his performance. They should have gone to Specsavers. Absoutely IHE (if I'm interpreting your post correctly), I thought Burke ran him ragged, and I counted at least 3 times when Rossco (or should that be RossGO?) seemed unable to play to the whistle, he just stood there with his arm in the air appealing for offside, luckily it was given each time, but if it hadn't it could have been at least 2 or 3 nil yesterday.

I thought Markus was poor first half yesterday, but I saw a dramatic improvement after half time. I'll say what I've said all along- Barry Wilson has definetly still got it, and imo Markus is being rushed back from injury too quickly. I do really like Markus, and am so pleased Brew is giving him a chance to prove his worth, but I would like to see Barry on from the start in the next game.

Have we been watching a different Ross Tokely? As far as I could see (and the general mood of folk around me too was that), Ross was appaling. I can't believe people on here saying apart from the miss he had a good game. Every time he touched it, he conceded possession or blasted it out of play. Ross has well over 400 games for ICT, and unitl this season has been absolutely immense, but I think some people are just blinded by his past achievements, and aren't seeing that he's either a) Going through a very long bad patch, or b) past it. I sincerely hope its a. And absolutely agree that Roy contributed nothing today, but well done to Ikey and Proc who imo were outstanding :clapping03:

I was all for giving Rossco another chance, but after today's game he can leave any time he wants. Man of the Match, what a joke. He was absolutely shocking.

Just wondering how people know about when players contracts are expiring? Is there a website or something? A lot of people in the general public seem to know when various players contracts are expiring. How?

Yep Im sure we'l hear sumthing official from the club sooner or later... Great player in his day, and still good enough for the SPL imo.
