Cup game v Montrose
Away fans had to fit into the main stand before, so I don't see what's different. Other than we have season ticket holders in the area previously used. I think that the South Stand will be open more often than not, but it makes sense not to have the expense of stewarding another stand if it's not going to be viable.

8th August
Yes - see the other thread. I think the majority will be in the East End Inn. Free buffet, child friendly and a 10 minute walk to the ground. Can accomodate 150 people and more if we let them know in advance as they have a function suite. Don't think that will be necessary though. If you are going to be in the East End Inn can you post on that thread to give us an idea of numbers for the buffet.

Sat 8th August ... Pars v ICT
Hey Buffy. There is a thread on the ICT forum. East End Inn are tempting us with parking and free buffet and it's child friendly. No real ale for the boys though as far as I know.

does any thistle fan remember
I knew him quite well. I was also at the funeral and it was nice to see the Thistle ties. I know that his wife appreciated the boys wearing them.

Pub for Dunfermline
Let me clarify 1 thing. It wasn't the East End Inn who slagged the Elizabethan off it was a local Pars fan who said it was struggling a bit. They were decent enough to offer us a free buffett so I thought I should pass the information on. It's good to have a meeting point and it would seem this isn't too far away for parking.

Pub for Dunfermline
Bit of a sweeping statement that. Do you ask all the away fans who are members of the Supporters Trust? I doubt it. For your information I'll be there too. So regardles of which (if any) organisations you are a member of, can you carry on posting here if you wish to join us at the East End Inn as I need to advise them of potential numbers for catering.

Pub for Dunfermline
Below is an e-mail I received from the East End Inn. Sounds good for parking (cars and buses)and the free food never goes wrong. I reckon it's got to be worth a shot for our first game in the SFL. Can you post on this thread nearer the time if you plan to use this facility. The pink fluffy one didn't have much good to say about the Elizabethan when she was up as it seems to have gone down hill quite a bit.

The Tale of HMS Sneck
This "stuff" should have been consigned to the annals of history and left there to rot. Johnboy, it's a bit of fun, if you don't agree then why not just ignore this thread and let those who are enjoying it do just that.

Stadium Open Evening
I don't think so, although we did consider it. Hopefully we can manage to arrange some juice, tea & coffee though. We did think about opening the bar, but surely people would prefer to be outside to see what's happening. I'll mention it again to see if it's possible.

HMS SNECK
I like this idea, maybe the Supporters Trust could be involved in some way. Think it would be a laugh. Applications would need to be in soon though, so anyone interested?

Volunteers Needed (Postponed)
We hope to complete this prior to the start of the season. Light refreshments will be available throughout the day/s. Estimated to take two full days, with enough volunteers so not really enough time for watching football.
