If you had been at the book launch, read some of the book or even met the guy you would realise how childish and tasteless that was. Lots of stories and differing views. Bottom line is that FIFA had all the facts (unlike us) and they ruled in Marius's favour, which I don't believe they would do lightly. If ICT have failed to abide by this ruling I think we could be in trouble. If you left a job and were due a large sum of money, would you just walk away to save your previous employer a few quid? We are talking a significant amount of money and FIFA say he is entitled to it.

First chance to see the whole 90 minutes of the game will be at the dinner in the Drumossie on Feb 6th. See 'Still a night to remember' thread. We are hoping to release a DVD soon after, but there are many hoops to jump through yet before we can make any promises. I've got it on VHS. Could easily convert it to a DVD. But then that's probably illegal... The VHS is highlights only. As I said it's very much work in progress, but you will know as soon as we have news

In many pub quizzes the prize is double the TOTAL takings - a prize of double the winning teams entry fee would be very very poor. This would make for some very serious competition which would take away a lot of the 'fun' element. Don't get me wrong I expect peoples competitive edge to shine through, but not to that extent. As CaleyD says it is essentially a fund raising event and we have no money to make from the bar, so paying out double would be ridiculous

Think this has been discussed elsewhere, but there are a few buses booked into the Tulloch Instutute which has a large car park and is walkable to the ground. They will be doing some food and kids welcome. I know there are Dundee buses booked too, so the banter should be excellent

Enjoying what I have read so far. Deliberately haven't picked it up today as I know I won't be able to put it down. It was great to see him looking so well and speaking so frankly about the highs and lows of his life.
