  1. I would also like to welcome you to Inverness and wish you well in your new venture. ICT means the world to us and I think we now have a chance of SPL survival. I hope you like what you have seen so far and I'm sure you will both enjoy living in the Inverness area once you manage to relocate. Great first game to make a name for yourselves - The very best of luck for Sunday. I haven't seen our support feel so positive for a long time, so as some others have said - in the name of HMS Sneck - I BELIEVE!!!

It sounds like a good move for him, but unfortunately if this is the case we will have seen the last of him in an ICT shirt. We would be as well to do a deal now, or even let him go for free as Butcher has made it clear that he would never play a player who's future is comitted elsewhere.
  3. Where's Charlie Bannerman when you need him??
  4. Couldn't have worked out better for us. Bring them on. I do hate watching penalties though. Come on the Arabs!!!
  5. Banner-man!!!! :thumb04:
  6. And here's the Sun's take on things THE SUN Much of the same really
  7. This is already being discussed HERE I'll close this thread to avoid duplication
  8. I think that would be an insult
  9. Grassa said in one paper last week that they needed somebody who would be 100% comitted. Maybe Robbo should not move too far from his phone just yet.
  10. Some kind of announcement due tomorrow Looks kind of likely, but I believe there are 1 or 2 issues to resolve before an appointment is made. Talks still ongoing this evening it would seem. I'm sure it's just a few minor details (like relocating).
  11. ?25
  12. I don't think either of them would thank you for the managers job. Both have a lot to offer on the coaching scene though.
  13. Thank you so much for your help with this (twice) I promise not to touch it ever again!! Hopefully some more of our board members will also adopt it and we should also be able to put it on our new web site which is currently under construction, again with the assistance of Caleythistleonline. Thanks guys your help is very much appreciated.
  14. Are you listening to the whole album or just 10 second snipets.
  15. In attempt to look at the spelling mistake I have lost my signature altogether. I'm hoping Scotty kept a copy of it and it will be re-sinstated soon.
  16. I particularly noticed Brian Irvine was very conscious of the Caley THISTLE title, they may have slipped up a couple of times but in the whole they didn't forget about the Jaggies.
  17. There will be a lovely plastic membership card on it's way to you very shortly along with a share certificate. Caley100/Starchief - I did say this wasn't a management thread - I think we have quite enough of those already. :-)
  18. I didn't realise it said that, but yes it looks like 5 annual payments of ?10. I'm sure you would be able to cancel during this period if you wanted to, but on the plus side it makes renewal hassle free.
  19. No this is not my prediction for the new management team, although with the wealth of knowledge shared between these guys, I reckon we could do a lot worse. Last night we had the Supporters Trust AGM followed by our usual football forum and Brian and Duncan were our panelists. As seems to be the way with AGM's generally, the attendance was not great, however a lot of our members missed out on a great night. Thanks to all who attended and submitted questions for the panel. A huge thank you to Brian Irvine and Duncan Shearer for a really informative and entertaining evening. They had played together for a while at Aberdeen, so they had a few memories to share and Duncan played for Ossie Adilies at Swindon, so we had a bit of an insight to the kind of guy he is. I don't see him as a genuine canidate for the ICT job, but he seems to have a fairly good pedigree. Duncan certainly enjoyed working with him. Thanks also to DJS, who just managed to chair it all while still recovering from illness, his voice managed to hold out which was looking unlikely earlier in the week. We also have an addition to our Supporters Trust board and are happy to welcome CaleyD on board, I'm sure he will be an excellent addition to the team. Thanks again to everyone who attended and I hope you enjoyed your night as much as I did.
  20. Unfortunately they don't stock these items in the shop as a rule.
  21. It is indeed a training top, comes in all colours including Purple and Orange !!!!!! It is the same as the plain white one they used as a strip for some games, they could do worse as the all white was quite nice.
  22. Wrong David Sutherland, I don't think DJS will have a say. DFS is the man
  23. For those who missed this first time around, have a read and most of your questions have probably been answered already. He certainly explains what happened after he left us for Hearts. To avoid any confusion, Sally is Robbo using Mrs Robbos computer. :-)
  24. I'd love to see him in place for the Hearts game but he would have been contacted by the club by now, if he was going to be offered the position.... I don't think they will speak to him unless their 1st choice turns them down. I'm sure he'll be on the back burner though.
  25. And we could certainly do a whole lot better. What has John Robertson done since leaving ICT? Get sacked a few times for not getting results. Steven Pressley would bring some passion to the team as well as being an excellent manager. With Barry Wilson as deputy. I think if you look back a few pages you will see a copy of a thread where John Robertson explained exactly what happened at every club he managed since leaving ICT. Hearts was an unfortunate one as it was the start of the Romanov era, but I think he's done a good job everywhere he has been. I found his tactics good and he seems to be able to get the most out of the players and I'm pretty sure he would turn around any unrest in the dressing room with immediate effect. That in itself would be a huge boost. Get him in charge for Saturday - Away to Hearts - Karma!!!! He lives in Inverness - so no travelling issues and he will be released with his employers blessing with immediate effect if he was offered the position.
