  1. Scotty - what a fantastic post, I couldn't have put it any better. Absolutely spot on.
  2. My first thought on that is that lots of supporters just want to go to a game on a Saturday afternoon, and cheer on their favourites and boo anyone else... Many are reluctant to get involved in all the politics that goes on behind the scenes.. I'm dissapointed that there is not a more united front, or a more concerted campaign, determined that urgent action is required NOW if ICT is to avoid dropping into Div1. I'm hopeful that the Supporters Trust meeting on Wednesday will arrive at some kind of a conclusion - and that some kind of a battle plan will be drawn up. I'm a wee bit worried all the same that tonight they are having a meeting tonight to discuss Wednesday's meeting... But still, it's all we've got and I hope every discontented supporter in Inverness will make their presence felt at the Wednesday meeting. Johnboy - a battle plan is not what we are aiming to achieve, but some ideas of the way forward. I have spoken to a lot of people and like Scotty I have heard some say they would like Brewster given more time and I respect those opinions. It is just as important that those who would like to support the manager attend the meeting, so that we can present a fair representation of the fan base. So I would hope that as many Trust members and Shareholders come along and share their views. Just to confirm the board of the Supporters Trust meet on the first Monday of every month, so this is not a special meeting, but it will obviously be a significant agenda item.
  3. Cheers Scotty, that sounds like a good idea. Once we have our new site up and running we could look at somehow linking the two and a dedicated board on the forum might me a good way to do. I'll mention it at our meeting tonight. (Well if I get a chance that is, it's looking like a pretty busy night ahead) There is one thing I would like to clear up - The purpose of the meeting on Wednesday night is not to get Brewster the sack, it is to speak to our members and fellow shareholders about how they would like us to proceed. We have met as a board and have our own ideas, but we felt it important that we seek a wider opinion before going back to the board of the football club with some questions and possibly suggestions for improvement. We have our scheduled board meeting tonight, so I'm sure this will be our main agenda item. We are very conscious that as a board we have to reflect the views of our members and this seems the best way to do it. I look forward to seeing some of you on Wednesday night.
  4. Had a lovely day out today at Love Street. St Mirren FC put on a good day out to remember for their fans. The football wasn't the best I've seen, Motherwell were very physical and we saw a rookie ref who lost the plot very early in the game. He was at least consistent, consistently bad that is. Wyness played 90 minutes but really came into his own when Dargo joined him up front, I wish we had them both for tomorrow. ICT could have taken some lessons on creating an atmosphere at games. Maybe something for the Supporters Trust to try to improve!!
  5. Not quite yet, but I have asked if this can be set up. If it not going to be available in the short term, I'm happy to process some payments via my own paypal account. I'll get back to you tomorrow with a definite answer. Thanks LG - I have suggested the same thing to the centenary club - its a bit of a no brainer IMHO - safe, secure and versatile for those of us outside the UK with little overhead in terms of organisation and a cost that can be covered by adding the small charge to the buyer fee. if you can organise something on your own paypal, we have built in a hack to the system that allows us to automatically add a paypal button to the thread !!!! Supporters Trust paypal is now set up, just waiting for the confirmation of the bank details before we can use it. The holidays have obviously held it up but it should be available in a day or two. Meantime if anyone want to use my own one, just PM me and I'll give you the details. Membership cards will be available on Wednesday night or posted out within a couple of days. We did have a bit of a delay in sending out cards, but that was in the ordering of the cards which only arrived at the end of last week and were sent out immediately. Membership form also available to download from the first post on this thread. Lizi, I don't want to go into the details of your post on this thread, but I can assure you this is no recruitment drive. On this occasion we felt that a meeting of the Trust membership along with our fellow shareholders would be the best way to go. We regularly represent the fans (members or not) at our frequent meetings with the Football Club, this situation is a little different and needs to be handled appropriately. I will take your comments to our usual board meeting tomorrow and respond directly to keep this thread on topic.
  6. Some, but not all, of the board of the Football Club are also shareholders and as shareholders they will be very welcome to attend the meeting next week if they so choose. It would be good to hear their opinions for the way forward. At the end of the day we all want what is best for ICT.
  7. Yes feb8th. Memberships will be accepted on the night. Look forward to seeing you there.
  8. Hey Ron Good to hear from you. Hope you are well. Will you be joining us for a game in 2009? Have a great night tonight and a fantastic New Year. Laura x
  9. Cheers Heilandee Thanks for your good wishes and the same to you and yours. Hope 2009 is a good one for you. Not so sure it will be for us, but if we make a change sooner rather than later, it might just be in time to save us. Relegation just isn't an option on the financial side of things it would be a disaster.

  11. You would be very welcome.
  12. Pedantic maybe, but I'm not aware that the Supporters Club have spoken to the football club, although they may have aired the views of their members. The chairman of the Supporters Trust did meet with the club chairman following a request from the Trust to meet the board.
  13. Of course you can nominate a proxy to attend on your behalf.
  14. While I see your point about the boycott, I am concerned that the team need our support as a cup run is essential to the financial stability of our club. Reducing gate receipts significantly would, I'm sure, make people sit up and take notice, but I don't know if it's good to do something to the detriment of the team.
  15. No problem in his posh new car. All the best Barry, just sorry we didn't have a Christmas bowling night for you to attend. Sorry to see you leave ICT, but as others have said, we hope to see you back some day. Take care and I'm sure there will be a few of us through to see you play v County. xx

Barry's signed for QOS.. I agree with Scotty on Robbo until the end of the season.... Barry is currently only on an emergency loan and can't move until the window opens, so he could still stay if there was a change. I would be happy to see Robbo come in on a short term contract with Barry and Duncan Shearer as assistants. Stephen Pressley is looking to come back to the SPL so he might fit in in a player/coaching role, but I'll be worried about another rookie manager. A new suggestion I heard today was Neale Cooper with Duncan Shearer as assistant? Comments

Update here Hopefully there will be a further update available soon.
  18. I wouldn't expect to see him in an ICT shirt again, so no surprise he was 'injured' today. He'll be saving himself for his new job.
  19. They will turn out because it's Rangers

Thank you Santa ;) :thumb04: :015: Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells. Merry Christmas to one and all. Have a good one. Let's hope Santa is good to us and brings us 3 points on Saturday. Wish Santa would get a move on, I'm getting quite tired and he's not been to my house yet. I take it that if you are in the Heathmount on the 2nd the drinks will be on you Les!!!!!!! :018: Have a great time and I hope you have all been good girls and boys so you get lot's of lovely presents. Laura xxxxx
  21. It was on the late programme North tonight 10pm
  22. I'm not convinced it will be easy to attract players to ICT under the current climate. So it doesn't really matter how much money Brew is given I think he will struggle to find the quality we need who are prepared to relocate to an unsettled team sitting at the bottom of the league
  23. If you are not standing in for the chairman you can't carry out the interviews. :thumb04:
  24. ;) :018: You'll be standing in for the chairman in his absence then? :thumb04:
