  1. I think that the end of season issue could be resolved this year, but we'll have to wait and see how things develop.
  2. I'm glad the satirical nature of my comment wasn't lost on you Despite his protests to the contrary Les has a few years on Darren! :thumb04: :018: I think that this is a good move on behalf of the Football Club. I do know that working with the Supporters' Trust and the Supporters' Club is very high on their agenda and I suspect we could see more joint events in the future. Looking forward to seeing how this develops.
  3. No disrespect intended Laura, and its a commendable idea, but don't you think the club should be doing this rather than the trust ... Perhaps instead of making you buy them, the club should be giving you a certain quantity of free child/youth season tickets which you can manage and allocate to those who might need/want them Can't disagree Scotty, your not the first to suggest we should get them free of charge if we take on the management of them, but it was down to the fact that it wasn't happening that we introduced the pilot last season. We did negotiate a bit of a 'deal' on this years tickets. At the end of the day it's just a different way of putting pennies in the ICT pot. We are trying to tie in some other things to enhance the experience for the groups and just hope that a few of them drag parents along in years to come.
  4. Yes please I suspect that the sources are pretty good on this occasion. Interesting times.
  5. I don't think there are many programmes left, but we still have scarves. The shop should still have some and if they don't I have some stock for the shop which I'll drop off tomorrow.
  6. Good points Jagster. Totally agree with all 3. The disabled situation is also made worse by restricting their view even more than it is already. I do know that the club are looking at doing something to improve the match day experience for disabled fans but nothing had been agreed yet as far as I'm aware. I don't think any solutions offered will address the problem with the new advertising boards restricting their view.
  7. Doresboy was in good voice in the main stand :thumb04: Chant of the night - Bobby's gonna eat ya!!! :018: ;)
  8. Souvenier programme will be selling for ?2, not sure about the parking but I would expect it to be the same.
  9. Yes, a number of the current team will be expecting to play on Monday night. Depends on who Barry selects. The team do have an extra Sunday training session to prepare.
  10. I don't know enough about the family, so I have no reason to doubt your knowledge of the Cowie clan. However I'm fairly certain that the PE teacher in question is indeed Don's brother. He was taken in on a temporary basis but looks set to extend his time at Culloden. A very popular member of staf it would seem.
  11. Maybe like ICT many of The Wives will come up for the game. ;) I think being their first SPL game in Inverness, there might be a few who will travel up . (whether their wives like it or not) :018:

    Aberdeen vs ICT

:018: ;) :thumb04: Great game Great result and Great feeling Shame I missed it. Well done guys fantastic start to the season.
  13. Some Liverpool News Here too
  14. Bobby Mann, David Bingham and Paul Ritchie all turning out for ICT. Only 900 tickets left, which is pretty good for a testimonial game and I'm sure it will reach sell out. I'm sure there will be a great atmosphere
  15. So why are they not utilising the site to it's full advantage? If this person is suitably qualified in IT we should be using their skills to generate a revenue from the site. As people have said before, Fiona is excellent at getting info online as soon as she gets it, or match reports when she is at a game, but she can only be as good as the info she is given.
  16. Just to let you know that the Supporters Trust are holding a race night in the Caley Club on Friday 12th September at 7.30pm Tickets ?5 which includes your entry, buffet and a lucky programme. Race Sponsorship available at ?25 per race and sponsors will be acknowleged in the programme. As well as the racing there will be some more fun and games (all designed to assist you in parting with your hard earned cash - obviously :thumb04: ) and a raffle Tickets will be available from any board members and also at the door on the night. Our last event was very successful and we look forward to your support again on the 12th. 'Come in no 6 your time is up' CaleyD - can you please add this to the upcoming events thread. Cheers Further information by phoning the Trust mobile phone on 07879221569

    Training

If you only saw them today for the first time, then you have been missing out as they have been training there since returning from their break. Under 19s are using the top pitches and the 1st team down at the bottom. Don't know the reason why, or whether or not it is a permanent move but I'm sure they don't mind missing out on the run to Fort George. Wednesday is usually their day off, so they won't be due back at training until Thursday. I've seen them a couple of times and I have to say that Brew is always leading the way. He was playing in the training game today. It's a shame about his injury as I'm sure he has a few goals left in him yet.
  18. You should manage to find one in most of the regular pre match boozers or the club shop will also have them

    Dons Game

Gutted I can't make it, but I've got a good feeling about it. We have to beat them sometime, so this would be a great start to our season
  20. Also Bart the brat celebrates a birthday today, so happy birthday to both.
  21. This could be very confusing if it catches on.
  22. I'm sure they have now decided to open the West Stand and this might be the only availability for groups of tickets sitting together, but I believe there are still other options available. Hundreds rather than thousands left though, so don't hang about it you want some.
  23. I didn't think you were critisicing, just thought I would try to clarify some of the differences. There are lots of different ideas and we do a wide variety of events, the race night is just an unfortunate coincidence. The Trust held one this time last year and didn't repeat it as we had planned in March/April time as we were made aware of the Clubs plans to hold one, so we avoided the clash. By the time I heard the supporters club were planning arranging another one, we had already booked for September so it's just an unfortunate co-incidence. I'm sure there are enough people in Inverness to cope with the two nights.
  24. Izzy - you are absolutely right. Unfortunately as it stands both organisations are completely independant of each other. Both have completely different roles and raise money for different purposes, although there are a number of members common to both groups. Supporters Trust raises money for a wide range of things including purchasing of shares within the club to give the fans a bigger voice. We already have a 10% voting right as well as substantial amount of actual shares. We have sponsored the Street League this season to encourage grass roots football, we are subsidising the cost of the youth team buses for the coming season as well as a few smaller community projects. We have again purchased a group of season tickets for this season where we invite schools and youth groups to come along to games and hope that some return with their families in the future. Throughout the year we try to organise a wide range of events so that hopefully there is something for everyone. The Supporters' Club as far as I know also have a shareholding in ICT and do a fantastic job running the Supporter's Buses for all away games. The costs are ever increasing and I'm sure their fundraising will go towards subsidising the travel for our fans. There is no doubt we have the short straw when it comes to travelling to away games, so hopefully this will help to ensure that these buses can continue at a reasonable price to encourage their use. Lady Fraser does a fantastic job of organising these buses and rarely misses a game herself so I'm sure she will appreciate your support. I would hate to see a Trust v Club situation, but hopefully I have explained a little about the different organisations (although I am in no way qualified to speak on behalf of the supporters club and I'm sure someone will be along very shortly to correct me if I have spoken out of turn :-) ) I'm sure both nights can be a success
