  1. The Supporter's Trust are delighted to have taken delivey of Barry's Testimonial scarves. These are endorsed by the testimonial committee and are available now. This is a half and half scarf with ICT colours on one half and Liverpool's colours on the other. (I'll post a pic shortly) We have put a supply into the ICT shop and the Trust board members will also each have a small quantity to sell. This will be a sure collectable item, so get yours now while you can at a cost of ?10 per scarf. Hopefully we should have enough stock to sell some on the night, but we won't be ordering any more so "when they are gone - they are gone"

Lets be fair to Ian here. The P&J chose to print this story today. The last contact Ian had with the press was on wednesday when a few of the players in Denmark were given time to be interviewed by the journo's that are out there. So if he said what was reported then he said it before the deal was official Actually not quite true Alex - In fact quite the opposite. Steven from the P & J has travelled with the team, so he has more contact with the team than usual.
  3. I believe that the tops are not yet all signed but Angela is working on it. Shouldn't be too long now.

I suspect it's a bit late for this year, but I think it's a great idea. I would be happy to suggest that the Trust could speak to the club and see what they say. I don't think we would necessarily get a negative response. Definitely worth looking into. We could ask Charlie Christie and Duncan Shearer to coach the fans team. :003:
  5. I thought I was going to miss the first game of the season as I'm away, but I'll be in Aberdeen, so depending on the timing of our day I just might make Inverurie. :021:
  6. I paid for mine nearly 2 weeks ago but I don't have them yet. :008: better chase them up.
  7. So a simple thanks but no thanks would suffice. I'm reasonably impressed that the club are being a bit proactive for a change. I renewed mine last week as I knew I was going to be busy this week, but I would have been happy to get a quick call to remind me of the deadline. I would hate to have lost my seat just because of an oversight on my part. If I didn't have a season ticket, I think my best intentions of paying at the gate would dwindle and then you get out of the football habit and not only do I enjoy the football, it's one of very few things we do altogether as a family. I know of a few people who haven't been happy with the product on the park and are chosing not to renew and I understand that totally, but is that not a different point altogether.
  8. We were drawn to play at home, but gave away our 'home' rights to Clach. I'm sure the rules of this competition limits the amount of 1st team players eligible anyway, so we shouldn't be affected too much with the 1st team being away. Usually pretty much an under 19 tournament
  9. Very good point CaleyD. I think there will be a few old faces around on the night. Definitely means more to me too.
  10. Our game is completely different to the game at Hamilton. I think you might see one or two faces you might recognise. I don't think anyone expects the full 1st team to turn out but I think there will be a few names you will have heard off. Anyway - as the mannie says, it's Barry's Testimonial and that's all that matters. There are a number of away tickets already sold so it should be a great night
  11. Just for the record Alexander = Zander
  12. Already being discussed in the rumour mill http://www.caleythistleonline.com/communit...hp?topic=7117.0

I don't think Errea have a great choice of designs so it's maybe a case of being the best of the rest. You don't get to completely design your own strip you only get to add your colours to one of their designs. I'm not overly excited about it, but I'm sure we'll all get used to it. I think the football club get a good deal from Errea but if we have signed up for another 3 years, I hope that we have had a really good look at what's out there. I'm sure there must be something better but I don't know enough about it.
  14. Alex you are right to some extent, this game is a testimonial and any benefits will go to the testimonial fund. There is absolutely no reason why they can't use it as a marketing opportunity and take advantage of a large crowd to promote future games. I know they have tables sold in hospitality to people who don't take hospitality at ICT games on a regular basis, so if they enjoy it they may support hospitality in the future. So they do have an opportunity to expand the fan base and I don't think that the testimonial committee would have any issues with that.

Yes good luck Romania and hopefully Marius can play some part even if he doesn't start the game. :021: :021:

This topic has been moved to Euro 2008. [iurl]http://www.caleythistleonline.com/community/index.php?topic=7113.0[/iurl]
  17. Currently 12 confirmed bouts ranging from schoolboy to superheavyweight and this time it also includes a ladies bout. Shaping up to be another great event.
  18. Here Macgint71......is that the same Bobby Wilson we cane?????? Canni b...hes a leg-end! :015: :015: :015: :015: Better take that back...he knows how to come on ere!!! :023: :rotflmao:
  19. But he never got a game. :019: Bobby Wilson is one of the best guys I know. A true Gent. I didn't realise what a Dundee legend he was until Maimie and I joined Heilandee for a pre match drink in Dingwall. It was amazing to see the Dundee fans seeking photos and autographs. I know Bobby has learned to look in to caley thistle online now and again, so I'd better be nice. :001: Barry's Mum is also a lovely person. I really missed them at the games when Barry was on loan.
  20. I don't think anything will be decided until we see how he gets on playing for his Country.
  21. I agree Scotty He is happy to stay with ICT and see out the remainder of his contract A lot of fans want him to stay - Yes again you are right and I am one of those fans who would love him to stay SOME club officials want him to stay - and SOME do not. If we get a large offer for him, then our board will find it hard to refuse. His wages are included in the budget for another year and were offset by the initial Orion investment, but if we can free up his wages for the 2nd year as well as pocket a large sum of money (depending on how he performs in Euro 2008). It is expected that the football club will post a substantial loss this season, so the temptation of a windfall will, in my opinion, be too good for them to turn down. There are already clubs showing interest and I think we'll bite their hands off if they make a reasonable offer.
  22. Just to let you know that we have some availability for individual or small group tickets for this event. Tickets are priced at ?55 per person and includes champagne reception and 3 course dinner followed by coffee. Around 10 bouts of amateur boxing which will be North of Scotland v North of England. This produced a fantastic atmosphere the last time. The auction on the night is being run by Clach and I believe they have some fantastic items on offer. Please let me know as soon as possible if you fancy coming along as we have to confirm table plans at the beginning of the week. You can phone me using the number -01463 794979 which is diverted to my mobile or leave a private message with your contact details and I'll get back to you.
  23. As much as I would love to see him return to Inverness, I don't think it's likely. The best we can hope for is that he does well and increases his value. Don't mean to be negative, just realistic.
  24. L_G replied to Tug's topic in Caley Thistle
Good nominations Tug. Next Legends night provisionally booked for March 2009.
  25. I'm sure your post was :tic01: and you are right people will complain about absolutely anything. Even when Tomming Cumming pretends to be Mike Smith. :015:
