  1. The Supporters Club and The Supporters Trust met today with Les and Kenny to have a chat about how things might progress and ongoing dialogue is high on the agenda. The meeting was very constructive and we now plan to meet every few weeks to discuss events etc, which will avoid any further clashes.
  2. Thanks for the info Darren and Welcome aboard.
  3. Yes thank you I had forgotten, they do look a bit better now. I'm sure there are lots of other things I have missed but just wanted to give people an idea of what we do with the money we raise.
  4. Thought it might be helpful to let you know the sorts of projects which benefit from the Supporters' Trust fundraising. Much of our funds do find their way back into the hands of the football club, but only to fund specific projects. We have agreed to assist with the funding of the travel for the youth teams who (like the first team) are greatly disadvantaged by our location and therefore have much higher travel costs. We have assisted youth and community on other occasions also and will continue to do so. We have sponsored the Street League this season giving them some much needed equipment. Funding grass roots and community initiatives are very much part of our remit. We obviously have purchased some season tickets for youth groups/schools to apply for (should be a bit in the Highland News this week). We have also supported a few smaller initiatives and we will be involved in a primary school olympic games event in the very near future. We were very happy to work with Barry's testimonial committee which was a great success and worked very well to everyones advantage. If you have any ideas for fundraising or are aware of any projects which we might be able to support then give us a shout via our new mailbox. Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Trust PO Box 5736 INVERNESS IV1 9DD Meantime just come along on Friday night and part with some of your hard earned cash so that we can continue to support these initiatives
  5. I think that the end of season issue could be resolved this year, but we'll have to wait and see how things develop.
  6. I'm glad the satirical nature of my comment wasn't lost on you Despite his protests to the contrary Les has a few years on Darren! :thumb04: :018: I think that this is a good move on behalf of the Football Club. I do know that working with the Supporters' Trust and the Supporters' Club is very high on their agenda and I suspect we could see more joint events in the future. Looking forward to seeing how this develops.
  7. No disrespect intended Laura, and its a commendable idea, but don't you think the club should be doing this rather than the trust ... Perhaps instead of making you buy them, the club should be giving you a certain quantity of free child/youth season tickets which you can manage and allocate to those who might need/want them Can't disagree Scotty, your not the first to suggest we should get them free of charge if we take on the management of them, but it was down to the fact that it wasn't happening that we introduced the pilot last season. We did negotiate a bit of a 'deal' on this years tickets. At the end of the day it's just a different way of putting pennies in the ICT pot. We are trying to tie in some other things to enhance the experience for the groups and just hope that a few of them drag parents along in years to come.
  8. I don't think there are many programmes left, but we still have scarves. The shop should still have some and if they don't I have some stock for the shop which I'll drop off tomorrow.
  9. Good points Jagster. Totally agree with all 3. The disabled situation is also made worse by restricting their view even more than it is already. I do know that the club are looking at doing something to improve the match day experience for disabled fans but nothing had been agreed yet as far as I'm aware. I don't think any solutions offered will address the problem with the new advertising boards restricting their view.
  10. Doresboy was in good voice in the main stand :thumb04: Chant of the night - Bobby's gonna eat ya!!! :018: ;)
  11. Souvenier programme will be selling for ?2, not sure about the parking but I would expect it to be the same.
  12. Yes, a number of the current team will be expecting to play on Monday night. Depends on who Barry selects. The team do have an extra Sunday training session to prepare.

I don't know enough about the family, so I have no reason to doubt your knowledge of the Cowie clan. However I'm fairly certain that the PE teacher in question is indeed Don's brother. He was taken in on a temporary basis but looks set to extend his time at Culloden. A very popular member of staf it would seem.

Maybe like ICT many of The Wives will come up for the game. ;) I think being their first SPL game in Inverness, there might be a few who will travel up . (whether their wives like it or not) :018:

:018: ;) :thumb04: Great game Great result and Great feeling Shame I missed it. Well done guys fantastic start to the season.
  16. Some Liverpool News Here too
  17. Bobby Mann, David Bingham and Paul Ritchie all turning out for ICT. Only 900 tickets left, which is pretty good for a testimonial game and I'm sure it will reach sell out. I'm sure there will be a great atmosphere
  18. So why are they not utilising the site to it's full advantage? If this person is suitably qualified in IT we should be using their skills to generate a revenue from the site. As people have said before, Fiona is excellent at getting info online as soon as she gets it, or match reports when she is at a game, but she can only be as good as the info she is given.
  19. Just to let you know that the Supporters Trust are holding a race night in the Caley Club on Friday 12th September at 7.30pm Tickets ?5 which includes your entry, buffet and a lucky programme. Race Sponsorship available at ?25 per race and sponsors will be acknowleged in the programme. As well as the racing there will be some more fun and games (all designed to assist you in parting with your hard earned cash - obviously :thumb04: ) and a raffle Tickets will be available from any board members and also at the door on the night. Our last event was very successful and we look forward to your support again on the 12th. 'Come in no 6 your time is up' CaleyD - can you please add this to the upcoming events thread. Cheers Further information by phoning the Trust mobile phone on 07879221569

If you only saw them today for the first time, then you have been missing out as they have been training there since returning from their break. Under 19s are using the top pitches and the 1st team down at the bottom. Don't know the reason why, or whether or not it is a permanent move but I'm sure they don't mind missing out on the run to Fort George. Wednesday is usually their day off, so they won't be due back at training until Thursday. I've seen them a couple of times and I have to say that Brew is always leading the way. He was playing in the training game today. It's a shame about his injury as I'm sure he has a few goals left in him yet.
  21. You should manage to find one in most of the regular pre match boozers or the club shop will also have them
  22. L_G replied to chris123's topic in Caley Thistle
Gutted I can't make it, but I've got a good feeling about it. We have to beat them sometime, so this would be a great start to our season
  23. Also Bart the brat celebrates a birthday today, so happy birthday to both.
  24. I'm sure they have now decided to open the West Stand and this might be the only availability for groups of tickets sitting together, but I believe there are still other options available. Hundreds rather than thousands left though, so don't hang about it you want some.
