  1. I heard that too....
  2. grampian news says its a loan, and i presume there more reliable than wiki www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1539678,00.html How about Leicester City website saying he's been released.??
  3. Don't think so Wiki says: "Having returned from an unsuccessful loan spell at Brentford, Odhiambo had his Leicester contract terminated by mutual consent on January 30, 2009, having never played a league game for the club"
  4. Foran a risk but has cut it at this level before. Eric Odhiambo was at Brentford on loan and played a whole 8mins. Looking at his stats has he ever scored a goal at any level? Hope TB knows something we don't, hope he was banging them in for reserves and was ready to step up.
  5. Not much value in 2-1 and Livi players are reasonably pro bunch , so no. However if Livi were a lower division team then I would say yes. ( president: 3rd div Hamilton in 2000) Graham
  6. Ah, that will be why I hadn't noticed "no-one pays any attention" Aside from this, I was been a touch cynical in this thread about Butcher plagurising David Bowie. Lets just hope he's not a Stranglers fan too!!! Cos if things go wrong, will the soundbite be "No More, Heroes Anymore"
  7. We loaned a Polish keeper last season. In a similar somewhat cynical move by our board to encourage our large local Polish community along to our matches. Unfortunately, he wasn't a safe pair of hands. G
  8. Encouraged by your comment mfcmainstand.
  9. Na, think we went cos he heard they had a gap that needed filling.
  10. Just a thought!! A new era needs a new mascot. With Terry coming up with the "We can be Heroes" slogan, soundbite, to encourage all! Wouldn't it be fitting to have a new mascot, can I propose a "Dolphin" called Snecky.. instead of that mingy moggie Icat. Ahhh, hemm.... So we can swim, like dolphins can swim right back off the bottom of the SPL. G
  11. Welcome Terry ! "We Can Be Heroes" We Believe! Graham

    Brian Kerr

According to papers arriving and training with squad today. Graham
  13. P&J has Cowie down in Watford today agreeing personal terms. We have been offered some money to let him go now, no idea how much paper just said under ?50 000. Could be a tenner or 49k!! Graham
  14. Todays P&J he says he will play them. Perhaps a bit of a u-turn, or perhaps a reality check having watched the squad in training.

Aye, but I've heard Butcher is one of those managers that won't play you if you sign a pre contract. So we will end up with Black and Cowie sitting out to end of season if they don't go now.
  16. Thank you Brentford fans for your input. Lets hope we get the Motherwell Butcher and not the Brentford one. Is the Red Lion still the great music venue it was in the 90's and does anyone remember "Casual Affair" the band fronted by my good mate and Brentford fan Mark Colton.
  17. According to Charles Bannerman's 8pm radio Scotland news broadcast. Butcher has been offered the job and will be intouch with the club today to say yes/no. The board require him to relocate to Inverness and contract terms etc have to be sorted. Clear as Mud!! Strange to announce this, wouldn't it be better to wait till accepted and tied up before announcement? Graham
  18. Marius scored a cracker on his debt. Cannot remember who is was against. Think it was a friendly.
  19. He was never Aberdeens manager, he was assistant, left and came back as assistant. Dundee 01-08-1984 31-05-1986 14 6 4 4 22 pts from 14 games that would be enough to keep us up.
  20. I had a dream last night, Sutherland was standing on the centre spot the board were around him in a circle and the PA was playing Metallica's "Master of Puppets".
  21. Stirling win please
  22. Surely, the number 2 is picked by whoever gets the Managers job, and not by the club.
  23. Been doing some thinking about Robbo, he's still the fans favourite is fighting a clever campaign and that puts a certain pressure on the club, I get the feeling Money may Talk. Robbo would take the job on for considerably less than many other candidates. The board know this, no big relocation package required for him either. Given the club had to pay off Brewster, the financial advantages of appointing Robbo might grudgingly swing some of the board in his favour.
  24. Enjoyed that, but thankfully he dosen't post on here, can you imagine a thread where he locks horns with IHE??
