  1. At least the usual suspects can't blame Marius, the unnatural formation, unrest in the team, the man on the grassy knoll etc etc. Bizarre team selection, end of.
  2. I know Scotty, and he makes his fair share of howlers too. A bit like Duncan, but for some reason, people don't make the same issues with these two. Infact, I'm not entirely convinced by McGuire at all to be honest.
  3. 3-1.....I've had enough of this *****. Appalling team selection. Our away form has obviously benefitted from this magnificent decision to drop Marius :014:
  4. What a ***** team selection :008: WTF is Black on the bench??????? Marius must be injured, because we keep getting told by some on here that he HAS to play....it's in his contract!! Still, some on here will be happy with the team no doubt.
  5. Oh ffs :017: :017: :017:......and people question why this site isn't what it used to be! Self evident really.
  6. Spot on. It's about time we went back to 442. The 4-5-1 only seemed to work when Rankin was involved. We've missed him since he went. The number of high balls pumped upto him today, against Wilkie and Kenneth, was embarrassing at times. What's the bloke supposed to do, againt two giants, when his nearest support is halfway back up the pitch??
  7. Feck me, how big's the article???????? :017: :017: :017: However big it is, he's nowhere near the standard we require at this level. Sorry, he simply isn't good enough. The bloke couldn't even cut it at Peterhead, so why the **** he's still with us is beyond me. And I didn't think we actually decided to start playing today until we'd gone a goal behind. I'd go with... Fraser Tokely McGuire Munro Hastings Imrie Black Cowie McBain Niculae Bayne
  8. Agree with most of that CaleyD, apart from Roy, who I thought had a great second half. First half was mince, the worst I've seen this season...from both teams. I didn't think Utd were any better in the second either. They took the only chance they created though. Only then did we wake up. As soon as we put them under any pressure in midfield we started to dominate. We should've done it from the start. Imrie was superb, as was Cowie. Tokely was superb in the last 15 too....but ***** before that :017: The hooking of Blackie was baffling. Aye, he wasn't having his best game, but neither was anyone else. Yet Duncan can play like that most weeks, and never gets hooked!! More Money for Duncan?????? :rotflmao: .........until he starts passing to his own team mates we should tell him to feck off!! Disappointed we only took a point bacause Utd were really *****.
  9. Great game I thought :001: :001: :001:
  10. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:.....How sweet was that???????? Superb second half performance from the boys, another GS beckons :001: :001: :001:
  11. Wales will breathe fire again under our new local messiah....Mr Gatland. So that'll be Wales getting the GS.....and who gives a feck about the rest :001:
  12. We got an offer for Bayne, and we turned it down :017: :017: :017: We should've banked it before they could've changed their minds!
  13. We should use some of that ?100k we got for Rankin and see if we can tempt that Ronaldo fella at Man Utd to come north.
  14. FFS...even a thread on DUNCAN turns into a Niculae thread :rotflmao: And in case anyone's forgotten, this is the same Duncan who was mouthing off to the press last season after CC dropped him. From what I remember, several players were mouthing off to the press around that time. It seems that the legendary team spirit hasn't been evident for a while now....well before this season anyway. Still, why spoil another cracking conspiracy theory.
  15. What age do players have to be before they're given a first team chance? The club seems to be very reluctant to give them a go. The likes of Vigurs, Kerr, Gillespie, Wood etc, all regularly receive glowing reports, but are seemingly only on the bench to fill the under 21 quota. Other clubs don't seem to be so hesitant in giving youngsters a go. If they're good enough then age shouldn't be a factor. Yes, we need to be scouting around for new players, but there's plenty of cover within our own squad as well, and I' like to see some of these youngsters given more first team experience.
  16. Agree RossP. It's all well and good 'breaking up play' and 'doing all the unnoticed graft', but when half of that is caused by your own inability to pass a simple ball, then it gets a bit laughable after a while. He is a decent player yes, but his lack of basic skills lets him down all the time.
  17. Be sad to see him leave as he's a good player. Always seems to have been on the fringes and never seems to have been given a fair crack at it. I reckon he could still do a job for us. All the best to him if he does go, and I really hope he does well for himself.
  18. As Harry says, Michael is as ambitious as any other footballer, and him being from Drum is certainly no reason for him not moving on to bigger things. However, I'm not sure there's anything afoot at the moment, I stay just down the road from his family, and speak to them most days, and they're certainly not aware of any potential moves.
  19. He was still better than anyone else we've got. As I said, he certainly wasn't the best, but it was infuriating watching our efforts today.
  20. One thing about Rankin leaving is our lack of specialists at dead ball situations. Rankin certainly wasn't the greatest, and often failed to get it past the first man, but at least he could whip it in at speed. Todays efforts were woeful. First Cowie had a go...which was crap, then Duncan...oh dear :017:. At least Barry put it where it was supposed to go, but his deliveries are too high, and too slow, and therefore easy to defend against. Surely it can't be that hard to get the ball in at pace, and past the first man can it?? I'd suggest Brew spends a bit of time concentrating on this in training this week.
  21. He did aye, but admitting he ran his arse off for the full 90 would be too much for someone who's seemingly obsessed with Niculaes every move!
  22. I felt the whole team looked knackered in the last 15 to be honest. And that's not a common sight, as we usually keep running to the very end. Not disappointed though. After the ***** performance last week, that was a million times better.
  23. I felt we were unlucky not to get a point. We were comfortable in the first half, but the introduction of Darchville certainly gave them more urgency in the second half. Even so, we still looked like we could nick something. Not sure about Proctor in the middle. He certainly struggled against Darchville a bit (but then, so do most SPL defenders). Tokely got a hard time off Burke in the first half as well, as did Hastings in the second. Midfield was a bit baffling to be honest. Roy on the right?? :017: As for Markus.....sorry, I don't get why everyone rates him so much? He was mince today, get Barry, or Hart on from the start next week. Cowie was excellent in the middle, and really hassled them from start to finish. Blackie was excellent again, and then there's Russel!!! There is no excuse for players of this standard CONSTANTLY giving the ball away due to their inability to pass. He does it week after week. A few dead ball situations that he took charge of today were woeful. Get it fecking sorted Russel :008: Niculae was very good again, and had one superb shot, which made McGregor produce a fine save. If Tokely hadn't completely fecked up our best chance right at the death, then Marius could well have got our 1000th goal. With McGuire out again next week maybe we need to look at our options in defence? And a midfield of Wilson, Cowie, Black, Duncan, Hart please!
  24. If it is Hibs, I hope we have the good sense to include a sell on clause, seeing as they seem to be suoerb at selling on players at vastly inflated prices..............like Murphy for ?1.5m :rotflmao:
  25. S'funny, I thought the reason we lost yesterday was because we were completely *****. Players who were totally incapable of passing to players from their own team has nothing to do with your conspiracy theories.....it's down to not possessing the most basic of skills. Still, that doesn't quite fit in with your Marius fixation. I'd imagine the players most getting cheesed off yesterday were Blackie and MARIUS. Being surrounded by players without the ability to pass the ball to their feet from anything greater than 5 yards must be pretty frustrating.
