S'funny, I thought the reason we lost yesterday was because we were completely *****. Players who were totally incapable of passing to players from their own team has nothing to do with your conspiracy theories.....it's down to not possessing the most basic of skills. Still, that doesn't quite fit in with your Marius fixation. I'd imagine the players most getting cheesed off yesterday were Blackie and MARIUS. Being surrounded by players without the ability to pass the ball to their feet from anything greater than 5 yards must be pretty frustrating.

Did anyone else notice Blackie screaming towards the bench very early in the match (at one of their corners). Well, it looked like he was losing the plot, and as there were no players in the direction he was shouting, I can only assume it was directed at the bench.......I reckon he was telling Brew to get the tactics changed, because we were getting torn apart down the flanks. Fair play to the wee man today, he was the only one with any passion. He was carrying us at times.

Seems strange, with all the speculation :024: What's wrong with him then? Cuptieitis? A few months ago I wouldn't have cared if he'd gone, I really didn't rate him much. Since coming back in against Utd though, he's been excellent, and I reckon we'll regret losing him in the long run.

We missed his energy badly today......he's going to be a big miss.

Too slow, Hibs (or Parkie) obviously targetted him. Bayne might be an average 1st division player, but he's ***** at this level! Pass marks....Blackie, and that's it. While I certainly don't want to lose Rankin, I agree that it's the one position we're well covered for. Vigurs does indeed, look an outstanding prospect, and I'd love to see him given more of a chance. Besides, there's Barry, Markus, McBain, Hart......all more than capable of compensating for the loss of Rankin.

Be interesting to see if he plays Saturday, which I assume he will(if he's still here!). Presumably his (potential) new employers won't want him cup-tied......not that they can do anything about it :001:

Strange game. They looked the better team in the first 30 minutes, and we were awful. Then Marius hit a good shot (didn't seem too much power in it though, but it went in), and that was that!! Marius was then bundled over and Rankin scored the penalty, then a few minutes later Marius got the third. We really weren't 3 goals better than them at HT. Second half we seemed to want to walk the ball into the net, and but for their keeper, we could've had 5 or 6. Duncan hit a superb shot which produced a stunning save, Proctor hit the bar, and we had numerous other chances(saying that, they had a few too). Michael is looking better all the time, and pulled off a few good saves today. Defence was sound. Proctor slotted in well, and Tokely/Hastings got forward at every opportunity. Cowie wasn't at his best(again), but Blackie and Duncan wer both excellent. Rankin was everywhere, although he seemed to be trying too hard at times, and he started doing the tricks(which often di9dn't come off) Marius was deserving of his MOTM, Dennis was strangely off form(he had a bit of a mare first half). Patti looked ok when he came on, but his passing was woeful. 3 times he had opportunities to put someone in the clear with a simple pass, but he fecked it up each time! 3 easy points, bring on the Hibees next week :022:

Applause is *****, and, on Wednesday, I didn't think it had anything like the mark of respect a minutes silence would've had. It's just pandering to the knobheads who're incapable of staying silent for a minute.

I heard on the way home we conceded 9 penalties this season (a shocking statistic in itself), and they've all been scored. When was the last time an ICT keeper save one? And how many have been scored against us since? It's not like our keepers ever even get close.......or the opposition ever miss the target. Surely the law of averages would suggest a save at some point!!!

That was a pile of *****. They were there for the taking (again), they're absolute mince. But we were worse. How come we play so ***** against them? They bring us down to their level of shiteness every bloody time! Only stand outs for me were Blackie, Munro, and Hastings. The rest were rubbish, with Marius having his worst game for us so far. If we're trying to offload a few, then I can't see many coming in. It's only really defence, and maybe a keeper that needs strengthening (depending on what happens with Zibi...how long's his loan deal?). McGuire is presumably the main defensive target, but I wouldn't mind seing another 'utility' defender coming in. Midfield is excellent, provided we keep them all.....I'm a bit worried about someone coming in for Blackie mind :007: Up front we look fine.

MOTM for me was Alan Coombe......5 minutes of pure, losing the plot, entertainment :crazy07: Quality baiting of him from the NS too. In fairness to him, he was excellent throughout though. First half was dull. Second half we were transformed. Blackie and Marius were outstanding, and we could've easilyhave got 5 or more. As easy a 3 points as we'll get all season.

Errrrrrrr no. We were under the cosh as soon as Blackie was replaced. Simple as that. We started to lose the midfield battle from that moment. So we should have hooked Marius instead ?
