  1. :love06: :023: You're having a laugh. Suggested contacting his national manager, that's close to the most ridiculous thing I've ever read here! Unless he has relations from the Seychelles then I don't think Butcher would be that stupid. Anyway Lionel was a disaster of a football player, fresh air kicks, tripping over the ball etc. He was good for a laugh and that's why some people liked him. I've never seen an ICT player getting booed during a game before and no suprise that he was dropped for a 35 year old and even when he was unavaliable Butcher played someone out of position in left back rather than give Lionel a game!
  2. A lot of players we brought in last season weren't experienced and that worked out not to bad. Also I remember Butcher taking in quite a number of trialists last season without much ever coming of them. So these guys must have impressed him quite a bit to earn deals.
  3. Have to say I agree with CaleyD as well but he prob is the only ICT fan to have climbed it as i think only about 4,000 people have reached the summit. He isn't the only fan to have died though and having a picture of him above the tunnel is taking things a bit to far I think if any picture were to go above the tunnel it should be of someone or something more directly involved with the club.
  4. A crowd of about 1-2000 is more likely!
  5. A soverign state is a country in terms of the uk? No it's not. No matter how much you want it to be Scotland and England are not the same country. Accept it the UK is not a country, it is a state consisting of countries.
  6. No they aren't. The uk is a soverign state which consists of four seperate countries. Scotland and England entered into a Union and did not become one country. So England are not from the same country as Scotland.
  7. Who's stopping them? I want our biggest rivals to get pumped nothing to do with stopping them support england. They can support them all they want, I'll be supporting whoever they play. ABE
  8. You see near the start of the Dundee video the fans about to start dancing and doing the conga like the falkirk one only for a steward to come down the stairs quickly to tell them to stop it :D
  9. And if that is a true reflection of the typical Scottish man you have a serious problem. Well educated looking bunch aren't they? Dry your eyes.
  10. These might be right but I wouldn't be taking it as fact. Someone posted fixtures for the opening day ahead of them being released on pie and bovril a couple of seasons ago and they were completely wrong, as were the teams involved in the first round of the CIS cup that someone put up here.
  11. We are in the first round draw. From the SFL website- The 30 SFL sides from season 2009-2010 will take part in the Draw which will be seeded according to finishing positions last term. The 15 First Round winners will be joined by the seven lowest finishing SPL sides from last season ? Falkirk, Kilmarnock, St. Mirren, Aberdeen, Hamilton Academical, St. Johnstone and Heart of Midlothian in the Second Round.
  12. We did play in the first round but so did St.Johnstone!!
  13. I hope it would be unreasonable since our average attendances ranged from 4,500-5,000 in our seasons in the SPL before. Hoping for 5,000+ next season.
  14. I actually went to the game and was in the Dundee Utd end and at first I was going down to support them but I did realise that County did amazing to get to the final and how much I would love to get to a Scottish Cup final. It was also some amazing effort to get near 20,000 fans going down to support them, glory hunters or not and again I would love it if we could muster 20,000 to support us, fans coming from all over the highlands to support them and it was wierd seeing County colours everywhere in Glasgow city centre. When I was at the game I actually found myself wanting County to win and was willing them to score and for Dundee Utd's attacks to come to nothing, I would have liked to see them at least score for thier fans sake.
  15. The same thing can be said about the crowd for any team that gets to a final. How many of the 30,000 Dundee Utd fans will be back at Tannadice given their average attendance is about 8,000. If we were to get to a final I would love it if we could take near 20,000 even if most are glory hunters or don't go to games normaly, it happens with every team. Even our crowd on the last day of the season was over 6,000 when we were getting 3,000 normaly. Seems the way some people are going on about the amount of fans County took and if they would be back next season are a bit jealous.
  16. That was the County fans on the news singing lets all laugh at Caley...sure there will be more to follow tomorrow.
  17. Do ICT have a banner up wishing County good luck, where they normally advertise the next game beside the A9? Was watching Sky Sports news and the reporter said he was in Inverness and there was a good luck message to County up from ICT...not sure if I'm liking that!
  18. Got my ticket through the post yesterday!
  19. What are you rambiling on about? There were a couple of live league games on Alba and they were moved from the sat to a monday night! They also showed a couple of tuesday night games. I wouldn't have wanted the Dunfermline or Ayr games moved to a monday!
  20. The odds to win a final are always better than to win the throphy as the bet only counts 90 mins, thats why you can bet on a draw.
  21. No contest!! I would take County winning the Scottish Cup tomorrow if it meant England not winning the World Cup!
  22. Attractive football doesn't change the scoreline (all the time), but it should be something that teams aim to do. It's interesting though that over the course of time, it's often the case that teams that play the best football seem to get the better results. Rinus Michels' Netherlands and Gusztav Sebes' Hungary being too prime examples. It'll be interesting to see how well Chile do this World Cup. Apparently they play a very exciting game, heavily based on the 3-4-3 formation. I'm sure they would have swapped silky football to have won the World Cup, something those teams have never done.
  23. Well they are Scotlands biggest rivals so I want them to lose. I don't want to have to hear about it non stop if they do well, I can't stand their fans either. And yeah I'll be supporting Algeria for that one game as I will the USA and Slovenia and yeah I know fine well where it is and think I can name 2 players Belhadj and Bougherra but that is irrelevant, it doesn't matter who they are playing I'm supporting England to lose.
  24. Surely you English can understand that in football supporters don't want their biggest rivals to win, let alone win the World Cup!! Nothing to do with the media, I don't want them to win because they are Scotland's greatest rivals. Why does Scots not suporting England get right up England's backs anyway, they seem to have some weird belief that we should want them to win. There is 50 milliion + people in England they don't need another 5 million. I wouldn't want their support if it was the other way about. Hope they lose every game they play. ABE
