  1. The Iona bar is the one where most Caley fans used to go to before Easter Road. Right near the stadium as well.
  2. They have given out tickets to schools for the hamilton game. Good idea and should hopefully boost the attendance.
  3. We last lost away from home way back in November! They mentioned it on the radio yesterday
  4. Great argument there. Did you not realise you were disproving your own argument in the same sentence as you made it and contradicting your own point. You are right though...Jesus! Well nearly all of them arn't. Maybe a couple of them might be counted as bigoted because they probably say stuff like **** off out of Ireland ya british ********. Never know these days though How can you say they 'probably say stuff' if you don't actually know then how can you argue against it? Maybe...probably...none are bigoted excepet one or two... You don't half talk nonsense...probably...maybe...deffinitely!

  6. No we never. We have had higher attendances than that before and thats when we never gave the south wing of the main stand to away fans.
  7. The social club ins't only for members on a matchday. Away fans are allowed into the Social club on match days. Busses go there frequently and there are always away fans in it before the game. You could book your bus in there no problem.
  8. I thought Tokely was not bad today but I thought Munro was awful. Samaras beat Munro to the ball in the air every single time and this created a good few chances for Celtic, he also made a blunder which put a Celtic player through. The only time Samaras didn't win the ball in the air was when he was competing with Tokely. I don't know why they never switched position at CB as Munro was getting done every single time in the air by Samaras.
  9. Their fans are generaly twats in their attitude and songs they sing but your higher than thou attidute is boring. One guy invaded the pitch, wow. We had far more invading the pitch against Ayr and that was deemed as a great atmosphere and game by most people. And everyone here was creaming themselves over Antwerp fans posting posting their videos and they had flares so is it only ok when certain team do it? Maybe it would be better if everyone sat on their arse in silence instead. If you went to a game in Europe or South America that had a real red hot atmosphere you would prob have a heart attack at all the 'bad behaviour.'
  10. He said: "It's like a European tie in that respect because some of the players haven't seen the stadium before. Hope so cause Celtic are brilliant away from home in Europe :_beatme:
  11. Give the guy a chance!! I remember at the start of last season Hayes was pretty hopeless and many people were slating his and others performances as not good enough. I thought he wasn't up to it and should be dropped as well but he came onto his game and then towards the end of 2009 he took off and became one of our best players. He just took a while to settle in and come onto his game. Hopefully Gil will improve also but come on people have seen him in what, a handful of games. Give him a chance.
  12. Are Hayes and Foran on the bench? Bit worried that they won't be back for the Celtic game and without them we don't look like we would trouble any other team in the SPL. If they don't play on sat then I doubt we will be seeing them start against Celtic.
  13. There are free busses that run to the stadium from the bus station, not sure if they were on for yesterdays game but they will be for league games.
  14. Who would you say Barnet were on par with then? I think attendances do have a part in how good a team can become. More supporters going to matches gives the team more funds to compete for signings. If Barnet are pulling in as many fans as us surely that suggests they are able to pull in players of a certain calibre that we are after. People completely over rate the lower leagues in England, I've seen some games at that level and the standard is shocking! Given that they were almost relegated to the non-leagues then I wouldn't expect them to be much better than lower Division 1 in Scotland You may be right but i'd have thought with ticket prices and attendances roughly equal to ours they'd be between us and Ross County. These things are hard to compare though. Stockport are League Two and we only managed to beat them 1-0, They only managed 5 wins all season in League One before being relegated. I know it was only a friendly though so this doesn't prove anything. Fleetwood also beat us and they are non league, our team wasn't weakened that much either. It's not just ticket prices and attendances, the sponserhip and tv deal is a lot higher in the spl, and there is more teams in their leagues to compete with. The friendlies dont mean anything, Aberdeen got beat 3-1 by Fraserburgh the other week, doesn't mean the highland league is on par with the spl. I reckon Ross County could beat them comfortably in a competative game.

  16. That was total pish.
  17. 1. Celtic 2. Rangers 3. Dundee Utd 4. Hibs 5. Hearts 6. Motherwell 7. Aberdeen 8. St. Johnstone 9. ICT 10. Hamilton 11. Kilmarnock 12. St. Mirren
  18. They are a non league team, we should be beating them comfortably! :slap: We should be putting 4 or 5 past a non league team with ease. Disappointing showing.
  19. They are a non league team, we should be beating them comfortably!
  20. The defence does look like it could be a bit vulnerable but I also think if we are missing Hayes and Foran then the middfield/attack also looks quite weak.
  21. I presume IHE's ongoing brussel-sprout gag is because Brussels is in Belgium, as is Antwerp... hence, it's funny (to me, anyway ) I don't think it really needed explaining!! But well done anyway Sherlock for deciphering it!
  22. Don't really like the stripes. Was looking at all the strips we've had on this - http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Scottish_Football_League/Inverness_Caledonian_Thistle/Inverness_Caledonian_Thistle.htm I think the 2004-06 one is the best one we've had.
  23. http://www.ictfc.co.uk/articles/20100722/new-home-shirt-launch_2208825_2099517 some pics up on official site.
  24. Not really liking the look of that, think it looks awful! Hopefully it will look better in the flesh
  25. 'Apparently it's blue'...shocking revelation:_shocked2: I can also exclusively reveal that there will be some red in there as well!
