  1. Gorgeous pitcher and I am sure it was frequently full too. By the time he was finished, Smee, it was not the loch he was seeing but the "B(e)aring" sea.
  2. He's bored and must have put a Seer's spell on it. I can't see the pictures and am sad.
  3. I do like his style...he's a hard bustler when going well. An asset, like.
  4. Did the lad get too big fer his breaches or what? He always seemed to be a with-it and gen kiddie though. Eh?
  5. First part of your statement may refer to my wife, the last part defies description .
  6. Just teasing you IBM....what I was trying to impart is that anyone who can identify some artifact that far back must be, well, .. slightly aged. Against the contrast of a lass with some class and nary a wrinkle upon her periwinkle like. Hoch. Hoch.
  7. Dumbstruck....!
  8. That's a mystery wrapped in a conundrum IBM> And here was I thinking that that intriguing building, where I am sure I could have been the Dux due to it's uplifting and inspirational appearance turned out to be only the Elgin marbles. No, not derbs, but something much higher in the scale of evolution.
  9. Good lord, IBM, you are showing your age whilst she is showing her slip bejabbers.......
  10. Yep! I recognized it right away. I loved going "over the ferry" because it always meant horses or hiking but always deffo a picnic.
  11. Well who would have thunk it? I never knew that whisky was bottled in Inverness .Was it made in Inverness though?
  12. Mr Thom responded vigorously? Right-on, but you have spelt that word wrong Chas. It should be" viciously."
  13. That helmet was for the Waffen SS wallahs,. Most reputed evil and vicious commando type operators in the 2nd world war. It was them who tried to stop the allied invaders at the Normandy landings I think and shot the captured Brits or Canadians behind the hedgerows. Mind you, it has been said that the Allies did the same thing to the Gerries that they caught so --------- eeksi-peeksie was it?
  14. The youngsters nowadays would not understand would they Bughtie. They just don't know how it felt do they?
  15. Your memories aren't worth tuppence these days......and I should know, so there! Yes dearies, all I needed was a little jog of the correct memory buttons and I now agree you are right on the button. Dick Emery it was. Boobs and all. What a group of guys in the past eh? Is that why we lose interest in sex-- because we forget that the girls are interesting ? Have you ever gone to the front door to go out and then stopped and wondered why you were there ? No? ---Just wait!!! Smile
  16. Nah that came out wrong : it was only 36 images, not 367. The 7added on at the end was a code to me from the world of spirit to quit whilst I was ahead!
  17. Chums', 'there's always more than one way of seeing---, IHE claims he is a spiritually-blessed medium with powers beyond the reach of others. Or is he just a teaser and a tickler? A date wiv him must be a blast.....? As I gradually lose the sight in one eye my spiritually has increased along with my ability to see things not allowed to the less developed entities around you.. Once I saw 367 images in a picture iof a country scene, ladies in crinoline dresses and bionnets, carruages and stuff. Now I am speshul and gifted beyond the grasp of a mere mortal befuddled probably by the fumes of alcohol and (in the case of Charlie The One) inkohol. But I press on, regardless of the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, 'cos I know instinctively that I'm....Goooooood!
  18. Could she draw a belt IBM? Mister diminutive Thom in the Academy in my teens once nearly took my two hands off for inattention, which unfortunately was a habit I had cultivated for some time. But this time he drew tears. I mean, tying your leg to the desk stanchion with your IRA scarf is not a crime is it? It took me a while to get loose so as I could take his belt and the tension must have built up in the poor soul. When he got on his stepladder to get higher than me I knew I was about to reap the whirlwind--which, by the way, nearly bowled me over before the tawse arrived in full spate. At that time of my life it was the most physically painful thing I had ever experienced and he must have been annoyed or something? So I took up banging desk lids when his back was turned in revenge; with my feet whilst my hands were out of service. Oh dear, I am so glad I found Scotty's site --takes me back in time to my best years....
  19. Me? ..nonentity.
  20. And that's not the only faces in this picture. : A sheep's head, a hedgehog's face, a skull with a beard, an antelope's head, a sea-bird's face on the left as it roosts(gull?), a cat on the extreme left on the edge of the picture. to the south-east. How do I know? Try looking for two eyes from back aways and then watch the face swim into view. Beyond that I will not say anything more.
  21. Jim Furd, I can't answer that 'cos I can't remember further back than last week, nowadays. For example, yesterday I was trying to rationalize Hitler's movements against Stalingrad during the second WW to my 55-year old son and I was trying to refer to the Nazi's Commander who was "Johnny-on-the-spot" but his name, which should have been on the tip of my tongue, was a complete blank and I could not remember it all day for all the money in China. But today, without any warning, there it was --Mussolini . Nah! Nah! I am just pulling your leg--- it was Stauffenberg. However, moving right along...I know Dick Emery but I still think it was Benny Hill..remember he would emit the words whilst at the same time pushing the guy on the shoulder so that he nearly fell down. Oh Geez! Was it even Tommy Handley .....?
  22. Yep Manfer: P A R T I C K -------- particularly able, really, to incinerate Caley's knacks.
  23. Charles: Amazing commentary in your post #84 about the hostel children. Very informative......now I can fill in some of the blanks about my life before I was born. Well, aye, you know what I mean though! As for your your last post.....the Academy---is it still in use as a school, then, Charlie? Or.......? IHE, in your post number 86,..... er,........ haven't you spelt "teachers" wrong?
  24. Team tired after the good run to this point? Or .....?
