  1. Totally in agreement with this.
  2. Doesn't make any difference. A Rangers v Celtic game either at this stage or the final will still be a money spinner for the SFA.
  3. Dreadful from Inverness today. That 3 at the back did not suit us especially with Tremarco charging out at every opportunity to go after the ball. Defensively we were poor as exemplified by that free kick in the first half when we didn't even bother to mark Mcgeouch. How Hibs never scored from that I don't know. As with recent games we had started not too bad but quickly regressed into our now familiar pass it sideways, don't go forward style which is tedious to watch. Great play from Hibs to open the scoring but I can't help but feel that, having quickly watched the game back, that we should have been tracking Keatings. It looked like Tansey just ran away from him having followed him into the box. It wasn't until Horner came on and he decided to try and overlap a team mate to try and give us a wee bit more drive down the flanks that we came back into it. Horner did really well to get to the ball and dig out a cross, lovely touch from Roberts to lay it off to Mutumbo who seemed to take an eternity to get his shot away. Great scenes in the Inverness end when that went in. Scarcely deserved but still celebrated like it won us the cup. Storey should have scored with his chance not long after but it was a poor scuffed effort. Pleased to somehow be in the competition but I am very concerned about how the team is playing right now. After a bright start we were shambolic for the next 60 minutes. Only a rare piece of direct, pacey attacking play got us back in it and that's maybe a message for Hughes given his apparent love for this pedestrian style of football which is at times dire to watch. Thought we had an excellent away support down for the game. Meant to be around 800 - 900 which was far in excess what I thought we would have taken. Hopefully the replay is on TV as there's no way I'll get up for it. Shout out to for Crawford Allan who was garbage and the main stand linesman who somehow missed a Hibs player leathering Roberts with a kick in the second half. Some laughable decisions in that game. Also getting pretty fed up with some of the antics of our players. I'm probably blinkered but I don't remember seeing us being so niggly as we have been in recent weeks and throwing ourselves to the floor at times. Don't like seeing that from ICT.
  4. I don't think so but there will be a wee cabin next to the ground where you will buy your tickets and then hand them to someone at the turnstiles. Which seems like a complete waste of time to be honest!
  5. They'll forever to get into Edinburgh! Get a train from Livi North. Much more frequent service into Edinburgh than Livi South.
  6. To be fair to Horner he wasn't the only player last night to turn in a poor show. Some of our more experienced and regular first teamers were far worse than him. As for the Dundee United game when it was clear he was getting roasted by the United left back and left midfielder you would have thought the manager would have changed the system to help him out, perhaps have Polworth stop coming inside from the right all the time to offer some protection to his RB, but instead he persevered and Horner was hung out to dry. I assume you mean Neil Alexander? The Hearts second last night was ridiculous. ICT free kick about 25 - 30 yards from the Hearts goal, players lined up on the edge of the box to attack a cross but instead we turn it back towards goal, slack pass back to OFW from Tansey and Hearts are in to score. We went from good attacking position from a set piece to losing a second goal in a matter of seconds. It was amateur stuff.
  7. To be honest lads I think John Hughes would struggle in midfield #banter
  8. I think both keepers are pretty evenly matched. OFW certainly looking a safer bet right now given that we're actually getting to see him play and Brill has been out for some time. Mindful of Hughes saying that he couldn't offer Vincent a deal because of his injury record the same might apply for Brill. Deano however is unquestionably the more handsome of the two but OFW paints. It's a toughie...
  9. Good stuff. I don't always watch the videos but nice to see the club dishing out some telt.
  10. If the story about Foran isn't true then are the club going to issue some kind of correction on it?
  11. Interesting to read that it's between OFW or Brill to stay on next season along with Esson (no direct quotes to that effect though). Given that Hughes doesn't appear willing to offer a deal to an injury plagued Vincent would the same approach be taken with Brill?
  12. Great post. Agree with all of that.
  13. One swallow doesn't make a summer and all that but as recently as the 2 - 2 game with Dundee United Williams set up both goals with crosses from the left. The only ICT player to even try and take the ball out wide that day. He's not a good a crosser as say someone like Barry Robson was for us but I think that's pretty harsh to say he can't cross the ball. I'd prefer Vincent to stay simply because I don't think that Hughes will be able to replace him with someone of the same standard.
  14. Highland News reporting that Vincent and Williams are likely to join Dundee.
  15. *enter dougal*
  16. Hibs v ICT on Sunday 6th March at 14:00 on the BBC. Sky taking both the OF matches so why the f'ck have they had to wait until now? Ridiculous!
  17. The BBC gossip section references a story in the Daily Express which claims Williams and Vincent have signed PCA with Dundee.
  18. It also continues our run of having conceded in every away league game so far this season.
  19. Ironic that his squad number is also the number of midfielders on the books at Celtic. Hopefully he is their 17th ranked one and he returns to Inverness in the 2016/17 season.
  20. Not quite. The Taylor challenge on Draper would likely be considered 'playing in a dangerous manner' which is punishable by an indirect free kick even if this offence takes place in the penalty area.
  21. If our game was to be picked for TV it would almost certainly be moved to a Sunday KO as the police would be unlikely to allow both OF sides, should 'Rangers' get through, to play on the same day. The TV games have tended to be Saturday lunchtime, Sunday lunchtime and Sunday afternoon so Rangers and Celtic would likely be split across two days and our match, if picked for TV, would be bumped to the Sunday. Complete guesswork really but I think that seems quite feasible.
  22. How many ties would be televised? No doubt both games involving the OF teams would be candidates and I would have thought our match would probably be slightly more preferable to broadcast than Ro$$ County v Dundee United if the BBC or Sky can show a third match between them.
  23. No one on here is saying that for a second so calm down there Thomas Huxley.
  24. Does anyone know what Ofere's wage demands are or were?
