I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Doran playing again for ICT if Hughes is still in charge.

Replacement Striker?
Mckay is heading for Dundee United according to The Sun. £200k fee agreed with Wigan.

New Away Strip
Not sign a deal with a joke brand. The deal with Carbrini and JD must be good financially for the club to take it. I also think that the quality of the merchandise is much better than Errea had provided for us. I can't see there being much of a difference in waiting until September because I know fans will still buy the kits. Fair enough we missed the perfect opportunity during the European games vs Astra to sell them but I think we will still have a good number of them sold when they do eventually go on sale. That is the crux of the issue for a lot of people - a big opportunity to cash in on the success of last season leading into this season looks like it has been lost.

New Away Strip
We are the only team in the Premiership who haven't got our new strip on sale. I think that's pretty poor to be honest and as TheKarl says would a wee update be too much to ask for?

New Away Strip
A quick Google search suggests that we are the only side in the Premiership who have yet to start selling 2015/16 strips. Is there any update?

Inverness CT -V- Hamilton
Christie had the crap kicked out of him by Mackinnon who seems to masquerade as a footballer but is nothing more than a hatchet man.

Inverness CT -V- Hamilton
Another really horrible game from an ICT perspective. Team looks bereft of confidence already and short on ideas on how to break teams down. If we had a striker like Mckay or even Ofere we could easily have had 3 goals but we don't and yet again we passed up some guilt edged chances to score. Lopez missed about three clear chances to score including one which looked to only be a few yards out and McGovern might even have saved it with his face. Despite these this our play overall was very poor. Lots of miss-hit passes in midfield (Polworth especially was guilty of this) and defensively we never looked comfortable. A mistake in midfield allowed Accies to break and after some slick passing Morris slipped past Draper and finished coolly under Fon Williams. At the time I thought Morris hosed Draper with a fantastic couple of touches. Turns out Draper barely look interested in making anything resembling a challenge and Morris simply ghosted past him. Still a good finish though. Accies seemed pretty defensive on the whole and were content to sit in and challenge us to break them down especially after going a goal up. As pretty much any ICT fan will tell you breaking through a well structured and disciplined team defending in numbers is something we simply cannot do and thereafter we really struggled. I can't really think of many clear cut chances we had in the second half.Lopez had a nice curling effort that was never troubling McGovern but I think that was as close as we came. Hamilton rounded things off with a great counter attacking goal. Tremarco took a throw in well inside the Hamilton half. A couple of seconds later and Crawford was leading a counter attack for Hamilton. Two passes later and Longridge was in the box rounding Fon Williams (who looked like he went down far too early) and sealing the win for Accies. It certainly wasn't smash and grab by any stretch of the imagination but a well organised disciplined performance from Accies who knew exactly who to negate us and it worked very well. Minor highlight was seeing Nade and Wedderburn battle each other for the ball and seeing Nade bounce off Wedderburn Other than that it was shite. Lots of concerns for ICT. Aside from the obvious poor form in front of goal and pretty much everywhere on the pitch now Tansey and Lopez are apparently on the injured list (Tansey came off in the second half due to a knock). Some strange tactics from Hughes as well. Playing Tansey as a right midfielder was bizarre as was subbing Lopez for Horner when Ferguson was on the bench. Surely when chasing a game you'd want to be playing a striker of sorts up there? Maybe he's still coming back to full fitness but we ended up with no striker on the pitch and a bunch of midfielders who seemed to get in each others way half the time. Away from the game full marks for the Hamilton fan who was collapsed outside the Innes spewing on himself. Some boi.

Poster on P & B saying that Doran is out with a knee injury. For nine months! Tell me it's not true?

Replacement Striker?
I see a lot of Twitter chat about Tade being available now after he was released. Could we move for him?

Replacement Striker?
It also means he is more likely to get away with turning up for training whilst still absolutely smashed.

Christie call up...
No idea why he has been called up. The lad isn't even that good. I don't think anyone should want buy him right now. Maybe in a few years time. He should sign a new 4 year deal with ICT and try and get better with us before leaving.

Trialists
Big fan of players with pace to burn. Something we don't have a lot of to be honest. Perhaps this lad could be another Hayes type player. I look forward to him signing for Aberdeen in 2017.

Inverness CT -V- Partick Thistle
Plenty of talking points in that game despite the 0 - 0 score line. Great saves from both keepers to deny the likes of Doolan and Vigurs from scoring. Partick had the better of the first half whilst ICT were stronger in the second half. We seemed awfully shaky at the back and were really poor distributing the ball from the centre. Both Draper and Devine were pretty poor and Draper seemed to gesture to the home fans after one error brought a chorus of groans and shouts. That said one of those two did well to clear a header off the line or onto the bar in the first half before Fon Williams made a smart save getting down low to his right to push away a net bound Doolan strike. He also pulled off a cracking save turning one effort onto the bar with the follow up blazed over but the Partick attacker was offside anyway. ICTs best chances fell to Vigurs when his free kick bent round the wall but was halted by Cerny and then Mutumbo couldn't quite get on to the ball after he had lobbed it over the keeper (I think) right at the death. ICT were again very poor for large parts of the game. Lopez looks absolutely lost right now. He seems to get in the way and Hibs up our attacks before falling over looking for free kicks for next to nothing. Very concerning if we don't try and strengthen the striking position. As mentioned already Draper and Devine seemed to struggle a wee bit last night although Williams did well at LB and I think we will see him there from now on. Vigurs also did well after he came on but you could see his short of a bit of match fitness. Definitely a few boos for him from the North Stand! Polworth was okay but Tansey seemed out of sorts and made a couple of rash tackles which seems awfully unlike him. We didn't really stretch the play and the middle of the pitch became very congested which perhaps led to a degree of frustration for Tansey who didn't have much space or time to get into his usual rhythm. As others have said once players come back to full fitness we should be fine but I think we can safely rule out matching the dizzy heights of last season and it wouldn't surprise me to see us be a but like Aberdeen were a few seasons back - i.e. involved in a lot of low scoring games because right now we aren't creating an awful lot and the few chances we do create we are not taking.

Ian Vigurs
I'm already drawing up a code of conduct which Vigurs must follow similar to one given to Neuer from the Bayern Ultras.

Yogi says no more money no more players!
Not according to Sneckboy's "Contract Situation" thread - only one year left. This is the point to extend his contract by a few years (as DUFC did for Ryan Gauld) in order to hike the pricetag. Who knows where we'll end up if we lose Christie at this moment in time! That is correct: http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Christie-signs-new-ICT-deal-15052014.htm

Yogi says no more money no more players!
The article seems to think that his contract ends next year. As far as I can recall he signed a two year deal in 2014 and we have an option to extend it by a further year if we wish. No idea how that would work but could we take that to mean that he is essentially under contract until 2017? Please?

Yogi says no more money no more players!
We should start putting ridiculous release clauses into our players contracts. £60 million buyout for young Christie would be good. EDIT: This made more sense when Snafu posted this in this thread. I see he's now moved his post.

I would rather that we had Nick Ross to call upon rather than Vigurs personally however I appreciate that simplifying the situation quite a lot.
