  1. I can't wait for this game. We are good enough to beat Aberdeen :001: I shall be making friends with my good pals Sol and Corona in Ma's and Archies pre match I suspect :011:
  2. You seem quite taken with Mr Bullock. He is under contract at County. I doubt we would be willing to pay money for the guy.
  3. I don't think so. We would normally sell these games out. The Aberdeen support was down yesterday and the wings of the Main Stand were empty and gaps were evident in the North Stand.
  4. Just a cut and paste from P & B: Our defending was poor for the Aberdeen goals. Malkowski was utterly dreadful in the first 10 - 15 minutes. Fraser should request a transfer if he doesn't get his place back. Don't really need to say anything about the first Aberdeen goal other than how Calderwood thinks it was a good strike is beyond me. I bet he had a good chuckle when he saw Zibis name in the starting XI for us :015: We were dreadful for the first 20 minutes as I've already said. I thought Nicholson and Severin looked good for Aberdeen but they weren't creating much really to build on their lead. We seemed reduced to pinging long balls (shock) up to Wyness and Niculae who weren't really winning them. Some long range efforts but nowt really to get excited about though I felt we threatened more than Aberdeen were doing for the rest of the first half. McGuire should have been sent off for an elbow on Mackie. We seemed to improve a lot after the break and deservedly drew level when Wyness cored a peach of a header. Nice flighted ball in by Hastings and Wyness glanced the ball past a despairing Langfield to drew us level. No idea how Aberdeen went on to win the game as aside from the odd own goal they didn't create much again. No idea what happened really. Cross from a free kick and the ball seemed to end up in the net :017: After that Aberdeen went back to keeping 11 men behind the ball and held out for the win despite a reasonable penalty claim when Tounzani appeared to handle in the box. Hastings saw a fierce drive well saved by Langfield as well and further chances in the box for Niculae went abegging. After Sverin had gone off Aberdeen seemed to lose their shape and they were there for the taking which makes it disappointing, given some of the chances we created, that we came away pointless. Eddie Smith continues to keep up the fine tradition of being shite at refereeing as he annoyed both sets of fans with some comical decisions. Next week is a big one. A huge chance to put some daylight between ourselves and Gretna. I think we can do it but we need to be more clinical and drop Zibi as well :015: Big drop in the crowd number for this game incidentally. Games against Aberdeen in Sneck usually sell out but some 1,500 less people there today :007:
  5. Nothing like a bit of blind optimism.
  6. I am quite surprised that some people seem to think that he is a good keeper. He has been a calamity at Hibs and at Gretna. He shouldn't have started yesterday. He is a very error prone keeper who makes a series of high profile mistakes. It's not as if no one knew about these things. Starting with him was the wrong choice. Zibi is not good enough for ICT.
  7. I seem to remember when Wyness scored his famous goal against Celtic in the SC that, after the game, he shimmied his way past reporters out a side exit of the stadium to avoid having to talk to them.
  8. If Fraser isn't picked for next week then he should request a transfer.
  9. Kencar has readily admitted to having a Brewster vodoo doll which he sticks pins into every Friday night.
  10. 5 - 0! Dunfermline are rotten!
  11. Bamaba responsible for 2 of Hamiltons 3 goals as Accies set about thrashing the Pars 3 - 0 :015:
  12. No but it certainly is a boost when some of their most influential players are ruled out especially those like Considine who have been in good form for them.
  13. My tickets just turned up now :001: Anyone wanting a free kids ticket?
  14. According to the P & J the ICT v Celtic game due to be played on the 15th of December has been moved to the 16th of December with a 2pm kick off for live TV coverage.
  15. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...rem/7051966.stm Nice number of names missing there from the Aberdeen team. Considine has aggravated an injury while playing for the Scotland U21s midweek, Smith is still injured and Hart is recovering from having his tonsils removed. Rumours that Aberdeen are looking to resign Leon Mike are not yet confirmed.
  16. Think how someone with a speech impediment might pronounce "three" :004:
  17. Not as vomit inducing as I thought it would be actually. Quite disappointing and timid from the "legend who is never afraid to speak his mind".
  18. Here's hoping that Derek Young plays, Richie Byrne returns from injury, Miller is played up front and Severin is stationed in the centre of defence. If that all happens we will win 8 - 0.
  19. I didn't get an EE this week. What mince was he spewing this week? I see Calderwood is in the paper warning Brewster not to try any mind games after old Craig met Severin during the week. Sounds like Tangoman is getting a bit worked up already if heis having to release this kind of stuff to the Press and Journal :001:
  20. I don't know about other users but I can't see the first poster unless I download it whereas with the 2nd one I can see it without downloading the pdf.
  21. Sent mine off yesterday. Going to sell the tickets on eBay :003:
  22. Fletcher was poor as well and Pearson wasn't playing in the centre of the pitch. He was being played wide. Fletcher and Ferguson were in the middle of the park. We just lost it in midfield sadly.
  23. I thought we did have one up front (Miller) with McFadden in a more withdrawn role behind the lone striker? Anyway, given that we needed (realistically) 4 points to qualify would this not have been the "easier" game to get the 3 points from rather than Italy?
  24. I would say Brown is better, I would certainly prefer him to be playing instead of Ferguson. One thing was clear though that without Hutton and Naysmith we didn't have the full backs to replace them. Murty and Alexander weren't good enough tonight and I don't think they are full stop. Pearson had a cracker in France but I'm not so sure he is a good replacement for McCulloch. I wouldn't have minded seeing a 2nd striker in there and drop McFadden to the left side.
