Perhaps one of, if not the best signing by ICT of recent seasons. I have been hugely impressed with him. His skill, pace, creativity, stamina...he has been an excellent buy for us. I have never seen anyone run so much for so long in an ICT shirt. I've not seen as many games as usual this season but he has impressed in everyone I have seen him play.

He had a brilliant run past 2 or 3 Falkirk players after his goal in the 1st half which was reminiscent of Pirlo. A masterful performance.

Another excellent performance. His touch, control and creativity were superb today and he also tracked back and won the ball on occasions too. It could have been him or Duncan for MotM for me.
  4. We won't be bottom again. Gretna will never move off the bottom again for the rest of the season.
  5. I still don't like the late subs and I hope we don't rely on long ball. But, what has impressed me is that the players no longer seem to get down when something goes against them. I think back to the United game and after the first goal went in it seemed game over from the players. Not so now. It's pick it up and get right back at them. Also, today we played some excellent stuff and it was great to watch. Best performance in ages! Well done!

Interesting. I doubt the blatant advertising of where all this was going to take place (RE: the singing section in section G) helped matters in that, as has been said, the stewards were then "ordered" to concentrate their "random" search on one area. Also, I don't know how drunk he was but I fear for one particular ICT fan I go to games with if they are actually seriously going to do anything about this in the future :004:
  7. Indeed. I am trying to find the Ian Black thread post Falkirk where he was sent off and when most said to sell him as he wasn't that good anyway. Much like myself with Rankin he has forced people to eat their words and good on him.

Sad news indeed - RIP Dan. Will there be a minutes silence/applause before the game perhaps?
  9. Liquid is a bit of a dive but I have NEVER had a bad night there. It's always a rare laugh with some of my best nights in Aberdeen happening in there. Absolute carnage!

I wouldn't leave any later than half 3 to be honest. 4 at an absolute push.
  11. Good stuff. I'm sure we can meet up for a few cheeky beverages. I'm delighted as well. I hope we beat them. I've got Aberdeen fans in the office. Maybe one day I can shut them up.

Mind one game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie, it was over the festive period, and there was a capacity 22,000 crowd - fantastic sight to see Pittodrie that full.
  13. To postulate over the advantages of a 4-4-2 formation against a 4-5-1. Really? Hard lines!
  14. If the game was to KO at 19:45 and not go to ET (if they do) there is a train back at 21:55 through the week that you could get to. So long as you are out the ground quick and into a taxi.
  15. If it does get playe don the Wednesday we should all go to Liquid afterwards.
  16. Fantastic draw.
  17. There was nowhere near 1,000 Hearts fans standing on Saturday.
  18. Well I can see where the stewards will be most heavily deployed on Saturday now :015:
  19. Yet again this show what kind of atmosphere can be generated when like minded individuals get together for the banter. **** designated seating!
  20. Does anyone know how close Gretna were to their full strength 11? I hope that was pretty much their first team as it would only serve to confirm the notion that they are a load of rubbish.
  21. Any idea what he did? I doubt they will let you stand up sadly. However, given the events of Arbroath, was it not a bit daft to taunt the stewards in that manner? We've all heard of what one or two will do when faced with that situation so could you have had any complaints had they thrown you out? Let sleeping dogs lie and all that.
  22. Really? Whereabouts? I mind there was one up the back near Next but then it moved out onto the "High Street" but that has since closed since the JJB deal.
  23. I think I'll have a bit of work to do when I return to the office tomorrow. Actually, it might be a bit too much for me so I don't think I'll bother my arse to do anything about it. Yeah, I can see my boss liking that. There are plenty of stewards going to enforce the sitting down policy that ICT are so **** bent on employing to home fans. It's no exaggeration to say that as we have risen through the divisions going to the football in Inverness has become less and less fun with each season.

    God no.
