  1. We were meant to be going to Ma Camerons but one of my pals, who turned up as they opened, took offence to there being tables reserved when he had been told he couldn't reserve any when he had phoned. After calling the bar staff wankers he was asked to leave :015: So we ended up in the Hogshead around 12:30 and got some good seats nearby the TV. The place was packed out by about 3 or 4 and they had to stop letting people in. When Scotland scored everyone went mental and you could see people outside in the street dancing as they clicked as to what had happened. Rare moment indeed. Sadly the place fell flat at around 18:45 :007:

Tell me about it. And that disgraceful cheating linesman who chopped off Italys goal and allowed our one to stand! :008:
  3. I agree. The free bus should run from town out to Daviot and drop people off there. First one to the stadium wins a Caley Thistle 2006 calendar.
  4. Bamba is pish!

I agree with others here. It would be a mistake to let him go.
  6. Another fantastic suggestion to add to the list...

They aren't too bad. I've had worse. I could actually go for a pie right now. Quite hungry and Aberdeen is freezing cold.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=gdVWPd4Ju3M Was directed to this video yesterday by a County fan. About 20 seconds in when the players come out you will see two ball boys. The one on the right is one Don Cowie! :015:

    Alec Burke.
  10. Scotland were let off the hook big time with the Italy goal being adjudged offside. We were lucky that the linesman had a view of only the Italian player and not the Scottish defender behind him who was playing him on. Also Fergusons goal was offside as well. So basically the linesman on that side of the pitch had no idea what offside is all about. Then the other one who never gave the penalty and it *appears* to have been him that gave the free kick at the end. I thought the ref was fine it was his assistants who let him down. That said Scotland did a great job of that themselves by paying absolutely no attention for the first Italy goal. We had some harsh decisions not given for us but we also have ourselves to blame just as much.

To finish 8th would be fantastic for ICT. Five out of the top six teams pretty much pick themselves anyway at the start of the season. The rest of us are fighting for one spot in that top 6 so the odds of getting in there are slim to begin with. Not sure why it's such a surprise to some people but then again quite a few people on here have quite lofty ambitions.
  12. I'm sorry, are you saying a footballer deliberately striking an opponent is not a disgrace?

Media in twisting words shocker! :002:
  14. Depends which door I guess...
  15. Hey King Beastie!? You don't support ICT! *runs*
  16. It goes both ways though. There will also be a time when the "Happy Clappers" flood the site praising everything about the club and this forum becomes swamped with positive comments instead of negative ones. It just so happens right now, because of recent results, that things are more negative and downbeat and it's not exactly hard to figure out why that is. The key part of your post here is that you say you are happy. That doesn't make it universally sound that he has made a good impact. It's your opinion and yours only. Others will have a different opinion. It's a supporters forum where people post their thoughts and it is highly unlikely everyone will share the same view. If you cannot accept that and discredit peoples opinions simply for being too negative and not agreeing with your own then perhaps it is yourself that needs to step away from this site. Anything else that needs to be said has been covered in Scottys post above.
  17. In fairness Wilson has played on the left a fair bit, particularly under Brewster. Plus with Cowie impressing on the right it wasn't that surprising to see him there. I think we could have kept Black on, subbed off McBain or Duncan and put Wilson on. He could have gone to the left and you still have two composed central midfielders :003:
  18. So basically what you are saying is that if your opinion of ICT is in any way negative you shouldn't post on here?
  19. So Wilson was playing on the left because........ Mind Cowie was out on the right all game.
  20. No. ---------- Mainly because I was not 100% sure he was the right person for the job in the first place. I believe his record at United spoke for itself. However I will still be supporting the team. We won't get relegated but the performances at times are certainly a concern. Next season might be though.
  21. The sooner people just accept the atmosphere at Home grounds is pish the better. How many Home supports can you say you've been impressed with in the last couple of years? Away supports are always better (in at least 9/10 cases) than the Home fans. Our lack of noise in the North and/or Main Stand is hardly surprising by comparison. That said, if you pop off to the one of the tea bars and walk away from the North Stand, weh a few folk start up a chant it can carry quite well over a small distance anyway.
  22. Munro basically said Tokely had let the team down. Fraser has since said that Tokely has apologised to his team mates and that was good enough for him or something along those lines.
  23. Did you hear what he said? Apparently a Gretna fan told one of the players on Saturday he was "f**king useless" to which the player simply responded "f**k off!" :015:
  24. *sigh* Note the time of my post when I said that i.e before highlights were on the BBC website. I have, of course, since changed my opinion once I had seen the highlights hence why I had *allegedly* in the post you have "quoted". *Click*
  25. :015: I think it played a large part in the loss of our discipline however it cannot really excuse it. I have never seen such an indisciplined ICT side in a long time. It was staggering to see.
