Of coure he isn't worth the money. Do you think Rooney is worth the £30 million Man United will end up paying for him? No footballer is worth that obscene amount of money. Sheva has not had a good season but you can see from the goals he scores he still has the talent. To try and dismiss that based on him not being nominated for the PFA awards is foolhardy. You need only to look at what he has done over the years to see what an excellent player he is. Why is that so laughable? Have you seen what Sheva has done and his medal haul? Top scorer in Serie A and one of the all time highest goal scorers in the CL as well as winning the competition. When Rooney has accomplished half of what Sheva has done then he might be onto something. He still has some way to go. Sheva is an outstanding striker. Rooney is just a very good one.

He would be a superb signing for us. But with Tango Man on the prowl I can't see us getting him ahead of the Dons sadly. I wonder if some of the Rangers/Celtic youths/reserves that will be released might be worth having a look at. Might uncover a new Barry Robson.

Proof if any were needed that people will not stump up ridiculous money for games that have little or no meaning. That attendance will barely have been over 2,500 at the absolute maximum. Motherwell fans always berate our support down at Fir park but their support yesterday was laughable. But fair play to the ones who came up the road. I wouldn't be bothered about the songs about our support. We know it's rubbish anyway :003:

Motherwell are the worst team I have seen this season in Inverness. They were totally toothless up front and that will be the easiest three points we will ever win. Charlie will have been loving that yesterday and rightly so :003:
