Cheers. In my book that would be a definite sending off.

In the past I have stuck up for Black a lot despite numerous posters saying drop him to let him cool off etc. but I couldn't defend him after the Falkirk debacle. However I was keen to see how he performed coming off the bench today and he was solid in the challenge and never retaliated despite this particular incident with Jarosik. I watched the two closely despite play going on, knowing that because Black was involved, there was a chance of something and right enough there was. I saw what looked like Jarosik aiming a kick at Black while they were on the ground and as they got to their feet Jarosik then shoved Black over. Now given that Barr was dismissed last week for Falkirk for alleged intimidating behaviours/unsporting conduct which has since been rescinded, why was Jarosik not sent packing for at least the shove? Folks who saw it on Setanta might be able to clear up whether a kick was involved or not.
  3. Gutted. Thought we deserved a draw from that one. No idea what on earth we were playing at for the goals we conceded but we can be very encouraged by that performance. Celtic were very ordinary today and no one really impressed me from their side. I thought everyone in our team played well today with excellent contributions from MacAllister and Rankin but Wilson was a stand out. He worked his socks off and he didn't deserve to be on the losing side today. Chuffed he has signed a new deal. Baynes header was superb as was the cross from Munro in the first place. You knew it was in as soon as he connected. Brines was dispicable today with some laughable decisions going the way of both sides. Overall, gutted to lose that one but we can be very encouraged by that performance indeed :003:
  4. Bit off in the first 45 but thought he did fine in the 2nd.
  5. Wilson was outstanding today I thought. All over the place setting up our attacks and breaking up Celtic breaks. His couple of touchline challenges were superb!
  6. I have money on DP lamping the wee ginger tosser. I wonder though if this is a continuation from last season "fair play" guff Strachan was coming out with but also what kind of abuse was Strachan getting from the home fans and was it really any worse than what he said to them? Not having a go here but would be interested to know what was said.

I expect a retaliatory statement from Gary McSwegan telling Hibs that their strikers are pish.
  9. New contract takes him up until 2008 according to the Sun.

I saw a nice Prada one in Debenhams the other day. You should take him in with you :016:

Which he can then spend on a nice handbag :015:
  14. Hardly. It's Aberdonian folk that are tight gits. I am beginning to fit in well round these parts.
  15. Why would you want to give money to County? :015:
  16. I seem to mind him being able to keep pace with most players coming at him but that was the SFL 1. I certainly wouldn't pay much for him. Maybe 5k max. Cheap git that I am.
  17. What about getting Proctor back and moving Rosscoe into the centre of defence? I think that RT gets done for pace too many times now in the SPL but he reads the game well and is very strong and would make an excellent central defender. Proctor could then take his place at the back? That could mean that we'd have Proctor, Caff and Tokely who could cover the right hand side and centre of defence when injuries kick in.

I fail to see how saying that Tokely looks unfit constitutes abuse while saying that McBain has been consistently "invisible" on the pitch doesn't appear to carry the same "label".

Interesting given that he will most likely be played in the same role that Ian Black normally plays in. At County it was Cowie that did the spade work that allowed Rankin to get forward and get all those goals. Or perhaps CC will change formation next season to incorporate extra midfielders to protect a back three lessening the effect of Dods departure?

I don't know. I've already said why I tend not to notice what goes on after we score a goal. I don't see the relevance to the argument though?

Walked into that one eh Gaz? :004: Sophia - I don't normally see what the players are doing when they score (too busy jumping up and down like a moron!) but I did see his reaction for his goal v Dunfermline and it was a picture. I don't think I have seen anyone so happy :015:
  22. 1) Rankin v Rangers easily for me. I've given him stick for not performing but he is coming good now. It was a wonderful run and shot and I couldn't believe it got up and down so quickly. Brilliant stuff! 2) Dargo v Stirling. Brilliant skill from Dargo(al) to lift the ball over Hogarth. Fantastic player. 3) Wyness v St. Mirren. Brilliantly taken volley from Wyness. I think those are the best 3 but another 2 stick out for comedy value. 1) Wilson v Aberdeen when Langfield dropped that clanger :015: 2) Either of the Rankin goals v Falkirk when the genius that is Scott Higgins showed us what a great keeper he is! :015: :015: :015:

I think this is a good move. I think Fraser should be given a chance to prove himself. He looks like a quality keeper and appears to be pretty confident which is a good thing so it would have been pretty tough had someone come in and taken his place after only getting one start Post Brown.

At least of the goals at Tynie were because Tokely misjudged the flight of the ball. How come you never saw them? Oh wait! :015:
  25. RiG replied to davieB's topic in Caley Thistle
If he wasn't fit enough then it calls into question the decision to play and possibly whether he himself declared himself fit to play. What does Tokely do after scoring a goal? I would guess celebrate a lot as they don't come along too often so he will certainly enjoy it.
