No pleasing some people! :002: I guess it can just get moved back but I'm a bit owrried about leaving a lot of 'This topic has been moved' links all over the place :confused02:
  2. We could afford Hoolahan. We could have gotten Novo is Rangers paid some of his wages and we paid x amount. Or if they paid him off. You never know! :004: After all we have just won the race to sign Gary McSwegan :006:

    As a coach or a player/coach role?
  5. I would have had him onboard at ICT.
  6. We supposedly made a bid of 40 - 50k for Stewart but he chose Falkirk. Quite glad he did as I am not sure he is worth anything like that. Also CC first two signings would have totalled over 100k! :010:

    Winters has gone to Hamilton.
  8. *splutter* No way! I wouldn't persevere with a player who is clearly playing well below standard. He cost us at least one goal on Saturday and it was a crucial one at 2 - 1. And before anyone says what about Wyness I still maintain that while he hasn't scored his link up play with the rest of the team has been very important to us. You could see that on Saturday for example.
  9. Quite correct. I will no doubt get shot down for this but recently Tokely has been gash and he should be dropped. If he was Wyness then there would be loads of people on here calling for him to be dropped. Why is Rosscoe immune from this? If it were any other player he would have been dropped and yet we seem to persist in taking a risk in playing a clearly unfit at right back and it was clear to see this was the case on Sunday with misplaced passes and seeing him get skinned time and time again by the Hearts left midfield. Of course this is just my opinion and no one ever agrees with me! :015:
  10. I think we'll get 5. Motherwell Away - Draw. Malpas seems to have finally started getting Well playingt he way he wants to and has made some good signings especially in Elliot. I think we'll get a point there. Dundee United Home - Draw. Brewster knows how we play and as we have seen already (St. Mirren) if teams play like we do when we are at Home we can't break them down. 1 point here. Killie Away - Loss. Can't see us getting anything from this one. Dunfermline Home - Win. Think we will actually win a Home game here.
  11. I personally think we need a right back, a left back, a right midfielder to cover for Barry and a striker.
  12. Careful you'll upset some people with that negative attitude! :016:
  13. How many stories about Blackie signing a new deal in the next x days is that now then? :006:

Fair enough it puts off the teams interested but what about 1) The fans who think that a player is about to sign a contract which he was meant to have signed about 3 months ago and 2) The player himself who is now being put under pressure by the manager or the team to sign as people will now expect him to do so. IMHO not a smart move by ICT.

It's a week later now and still he hasn't signed. Why do we release this kind of stuff to the press? :006:

    CIS Cup Draw

Ah but that was away from Home. At home last season it was 0 - 3 and 2 - 0 wasn't it? Plus aren't we forgetting that Falkirk have a previously excellent record in Inverness?
  17. Maybe it's just our 'turn' to have a bad run of injuries. We've never really had problems with them before in the previous 2 seasons so we have been lucky in the past.

    CIS Cup Draw

Whereas earlier in the season our 'full strength' line up got rogered 3 scud. I think people are also forgetting that Falkirk were pretty good away from Home last season like us. I don't think this is a good draw at all.
  19. It's been months now really. I'm also worried about Tokely at right back. I don't think he is fit.

  21. I think you are making that up! :016: I think he is a better left sided midfielder than a left back. Certainly got a good cross on him anyway. Do you need to have wingers to play 4 - 4 - 2 as opposed to left side/right sided midfielders? What more would they offer to the set up? I guess they would strecth the opposition a bit more but on Sunday when we broke Wilson and McBain took good positions up wide on their respective flanks to stretch Hearts so they weren't overly bad (though Wilson is more of a winger as you say).
  22. Hart can play on the right. I thought Morgans favoured positiong was left side of midfield. McBains certainly is but he isn't a winger. I'm more concerned about our lack of cover at right back.
  23. I stand by what I say. Tokley still looks well off the pace and that was another poor performance. We can't let the fact that he has been here for x number of seasons cliud our opinions of him. He is not that good and if Wyness had played as bad as Tokely did today people would be instantly calling for him to be dropped. Why is it not the same for Rosscoe? Don't get me wrong he is a decent enough player for us but he was well off form and should not be immune from being replaced though the fact that we have sold both our cover right backs might simply add to that theory.
  24. Don't go blaming the ref for anything. He was ridiculously biased - for us!!!
