  1. If people want to have a curry and some cheap pisswater beer then head to Auctioneers on a Saturday afternoon. If you want a bouncy castle and face painting go to a party. A lot of this stuff seems to be dancing around the issue at hand which, in the most succinct way, is simply a lot of fans have stopped enjoying going to games because the team don't win as many games.
  2. I doubt that having some noodles on offer at half time was going to keep pulling in the crowds up during our shocking run of form under Foran in 16/17.
  3. I think the club could do worse than reach out to current and former season ticket holders by means of some sort of survey to get opinions on what they like / don't like about going to games at TCS, why some folk didn't renew and so on. There could well be data issues here I don't know but it seems like an obvious thing to do if there aren't any barriers to it. At the end of the day the best way to get folk along to TCS is to get a successful team on the pitch that wins games regularly.

    Hearts Game

The first goal was poor defending from a corner. There's no way an opposition player should be getting the time to hit a first time shot under little pressure in the penalty area. A fantastic finish though it was it was poor defending from us. Whilst the free kick was unstoppable the play leading up to it was again sloppy by ourselves. For almost the entire game Trafford and Chamlers struggled to play the ball out from the back and here we conceded the free kick initially after more slack play just outside our own box. The third goal was a relatively simple hit the byline and stand a cross up to the back post. We defended the initial run poorly and looked lost when the ball came into the box. Four crosses, four goals. That's a sign of really poor play from your defenders and yesterday none of our back line can really emerge from the game with their heads held high.

    Hearts Game

Really surprised at how willing folk are to brush this result off. We should be in the next round of the League Cup. All we had to do was avoid being pumped 4 - 0 but we somehow went one better and conceded five. It was a lamentable showing from us today with a lot to think about going into the league opener next weekend.

    Hearts Game

Buy in advance. Deadline is 2 pm today I believe but if you can get someone to collect them for you tickets can still be bought until Friday. No tickets on the day (though this has changed in the past).
  7. Jambos fined and two points deducted.
  8. Players get stick every weekend they play and the vast majority manage to refrain from chinning an opposition player.

    Season Ticket

Hmm, maybe it doesn't generated until the day of the game? If it's not somewhere in your profile on the day of the game pop down to the club shop before the game and they will help you out.

    Season Ticket

You will need to go into your ticket account online and you will find your e ticket for the Raith game there in the form of a QR code. It will not be added to your season ticket. I thought this is what happened but Minique in the shop explained that they haven't quite got everything set up properly just yet. So yeah, make sure you have your phone on you for the game next Tuesday.
  11. Exactly this. It's not exactly like what he said isn't true either lets be honest.
  12. Pretty fair comments from Mulraney. What's going to make you feel like more of a professional footballer - training at a windswept Fort George/IRA or Oriam?
  13. A strangely unconvincing 5 - 2 win. We were slow out the blocks and took a long time to settle. The surface was poor which could be an excuse for some of the misplaced passes but some of the players still look like they need to blow the cobwebs away as there was some sloppy passages of play and a few defensive errors that fortunately weren't punished. All too often the final ball or cross was played behind a team mate or didn't get past the opposition player so it was perhaps not surprise when Cowdenbeath took the lead when Sheerin crashed a fine effort in from the edge of the area. Missed our equaliser as I had to help @alternative maryhill with directions to the pie shop but Walsh got his first competitive goal for the club and then bagged his second when he collected the ball inside the home half and head goalwards before sending a low drive in off the post. A fortunate but welcome lead. We were even more fortunate with our third when a suspiciously offside looking White won a high ball knocking down for Doran and he was able to steer the ball past McGurn. Into the second half and Doran was in the thick of the action again. Heading towards the left hand post he tangled with a home player and went down but the referee waved play on. We added a fourth after McGurn did well to keep out a White effort from only a few yards out but before he could recover Oakley lashed in a fine strike. Not so fine was the 5th goal which again looked like it might have been offside. Trafford hit a low drive from outside the box and it hit Doran who was trudging back out from the previous attack. With McGurn committed to his right the ball then went to his left with the deflection and ICT somehow found themselves 5 - 1 up. Cowdenbeath netted a consolation when Sheerin nabbed his second from close range after Mckay (I think) got into a bit of a mess trying to defend a loose ball. It was almost 5 - 3 when the home side saw their final shot of the game cleared by Tremarco. As I say above the scoreline looks good but it wasn't a great performance by any means. That said, Walsh looked impressive particularly when he appeared through the middle but too often he was stuck wide right. Austin had a very quiet game, very little came off for him so it wasn't much of a shock when he was subbed. Donaldson and Tremarco looked solid enough at the back but Mckay struggled under pressure and Rooney regressed as the game went on. A few days rest now for the players which is probably coming at a good time ahead of the next competitive match against Raith.
  14. Odd signing. Guess he's meant to give us a bit more steel in midfield instead of Chalmers and Trafford.
  15. A lot of seats will be "reserved" in the booking system for season ticket holders.
  16. The club have taken a fair bit of flak over some of their actions recently but this seems a really good offer on the face of it. I'd like to see them do something like this for all home games as well so folk can have a pint in town if they want then hop on a bus from the city centre around 1430 or 1440 then zip out to the ground.
  17. You can do that on here as well
  18. Just give us the Championship title now.
  19. I wouldn't be able to commit 100% but as always feel free to nab (parts of) any posts I make post match
  20. Thank f'ck the football is back on Saturday.
  21. That's laughable from Aberdeen.
  22. Based on the prices for the Cove game (as seen through my ICT account) it looks like adults are £10 to get in and I'd guess everyone else £5. Maybe these are the prices for all the games?
  23. Tim Chow being looked at apparently. Was rotten for them during his time there by all accounts. Would be a strange signing for me.
  24. Anyway, I seem to recall that Robertson was saying that if Warren left it would free up wages for 2 or 3 players. So are we likely to see some more arrivals then? That former Rangers lad was on trial but I don't see any other names doing the rounds.
  25. Replaces Hastings who went OTB (again) without much notice it seems.
