Brechin Game - Tuesday 28th
According to Brechin the pitch has passed a pitch inspection though one could be called later if the weather deteriorates.

CLUB STATEMENT : AGM & Annual Report : 23/11/17
A concerning post from DD and one that makes me wish that any meeting could be available for viewing on something like Skype for those of us non local fans.

Inverness CT -V- St Mirren
I am lost for words that Samson was never sent off. It's possibly the most blatant red card offence you could ever see. The laws of the game are clear, under violent conduct (http://www.the-afc.com/uploads/afc/files/IFAB-laws-of-the-game-2017-2018.pdf Page 104): Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball, or against a team-mate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made. In addition, a player who, when not challenging for the ball, deliberately strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm, is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used was negligible. The highlighted text clearly shows why Samson should have been sent off. How McKendrick did not do so is completely unfathomable.

Player Of The Year - St Mirren
For future polls can we replace the terrible option with John McKendrick?

I didn't really see much wrong with what Vigurs did. Plenty of players have a wee go at opponents who they fell have gone to ground pretty easily much like the Saints defender did today in the second half. If players are going to start getting carded for having a go at each verbally then we're going to be playing 7 v 8 before long. Whilst it's fair to say we definitely lost our heads today on this occasion I definitely fall down on the players side because some of those decisions today were absolutely mind boggling. Vigurs gets kicked, pushed and then shoved again by Smith in the first half and ends up getting booked somehow. Tremarco executes a perfect sliding tackle in the second half making no contact with the Saints player who throws himself to the ground and Tremarco is penalised. I don't believe that referees are biased but I do believe that some are not good enough and based on today McKendrick is barely good enough to be officiating amateur Sunday league games. ETA: I'm starting to worry that Warren is heading the same way as Munro in his final season at County where he fell away rapidly over the course of just a few months before he was eventually sent packing. I love Warren but as soon as he comes up against someone with any kind of pace whatsoever he falls apart.

Some absolute heads gone stuff from Inverness fans at full time, myself included, at the performance of that referee and fully justified too. Quite possibly the worst performance from an official I have ever seen at TCS in years. How Smith and Samson stayed on the pitch after flattening Vigurs on two separate occasions is beyond me. I'm not a fan of saying we lost a game because of an official but after what I saw this afternoon its very hard not to state exactly that.

St Mirren match
Is it not fair to say that ever since the USH went in our drainage has been poorer as a result?

Team for Brechin City game
Sadly some of us were already motoring towards Inverness by the time the news came through Really frustrating especially given that there is/was a game going on a few miles up the road at the GES. Do County have a better drainage system than we do? ETA: I had the joy of hanging around Kinross Park and Ride for an hour or so waiting for a return bus to Edinburgh. Here are some photos from this memorable afternoon.

Board statement 14/08/17
Probably both. As said above Hughes was whoring him out in pretty much every interview and when Celtic came in with a day or so before the window closed we were somewhat backed into a corner with little negotiating room. Hopefully Cameron, Hughes or whoever it was who dealt with the transfer included some kind of add ons like the international call up but I doubt it.

ICTFC Gain SFA Progressive Performance Award
There's no chance we could have gone for elite surely? Admittedly no one seems to know what the criteria for Project Brave actually is, and the SFA seem unwilling to tell us, but it seems odd that Aberdeen are in there considering their training facilities consist of a public park.

Jake Mulraney
He's been on a fantastic run of form ever since the second half of the Falkirk game a few weeks back. It's almost like he has realised he could absolutely cigar this league if he wants and now he's suddenly decided to be the new Jonny Hayes. More of the same please Jake

Stadium Improvements/Enhancing the Crowd
Disappointingly I see from the County forum that The Doghouse has apparently approached their supporters club about doing some link up with them and running a bus on match days. It would have been good if we had done something like this.

Stadium Improvements/Enhancing the Crowd
I was speaking with someone involved in the supporters club / travel club on Saturday and she mentioned that this is on the list of things to be sorted (she and others had gone round the ground with Graham Rae and he was making notes of things that needed to be improved/sorted out). The club isn't exactly rolling in it AFAIK but I wondered if maybe a local supplier could get involved and be "paid" with a wee feature in the programme masquerading as free advertising?

Inverness CT -V- Falkirk
Probably a deserved win for us in the end after a pretty shaky first half performance. Considering the good defensive run we had been on recently it was quite surprising to see us looking pretty porous at the back for much of the first half with quite a few desperate tackles and scrambles throughout. Second half was much better, looked a lot more resolute defensively and had a much easier time of it after going a goal up as Falkirk started chasing the game a bit more which left gaps at the back. Well taken goal by Bell. I think the cross from the right was flicked up by either a Falkirk defender or perhaps Baird and it was a lovely shot lashed across goal into the net from the wee man after taking some time to steady himself. Probably should have added to our lead but for some wasteful play which on a fair few occasions saw a poor choice of final ball costing us a good chance to get a second. Raven and Tremarco did well for us and Vigurs was really good up until he took a knock in the second half. Polworth was a bizarre mixture of really good support from midfield but also some very poor passing choices and almost trying to do too much and beat several men. He seemed to get a lot of abuse of those that were there in the North Stand which was, as per usual, over the top. Bell was fantastic and Baird, despite not scoring, linked well with the former. Really poor crowd but that's probably to be expected given it wasn't a season ticket game and the bitterly cold temperatures. Fair play to the 100 or so Bairns fans for making it up the road. I think everyone was pretty happy it didn't go to extra time...

I'd imagine having two feet for a footballer would be a prerequisite otherwise you'd end up falling over a lot. #Banter

NICK ROSS Trialist
As I said in my post I wouldn't be supportive of disrupting the current setup for obvious reasons. That said, he is a quality player at this level so if the chance came up to sign him it would daft not to consider it and see what kind of salary would be required. ETA: As Fraz says if we did have some extra cash lying about another striker would be my preference though I wouldn't be disappointed if we did sign Ross.
