Airdrie @ home March2024
Signing more defenders will help IMO.

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
The DPEA generally has no issue overturning decisions at a local scale provided there is justification for doing so. The concern would be if the DPEA dismissed an appeal and the club were minded to take it to the Court of Session then the chances of success there would be slim to none. Very few decisions by the DPEA get overturned in the courts.

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
Yeah that final paragraph is an embarrassing inclusion. Suspect someone bundled that on at the end but it's not overly helpful. The rest of it is a bit better in that it at least focuses on planning matters rather than petty point scoring.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
He struggled to get game time because he was, according to some Forfar fans, one of the worst players they have ever seen and described as a "dumpling" by others. This is a very bizarre move.

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
Surely an appeal to the DPEA doesn't really need input from a KC?

Best loan players
Glancy was a loan signing! https://www.thefreelibrary.com/Mart%3A+Caley+can+end+my+Sons+agony.-a060364084

Best loan players
Ah yeah just checked and he was a permanent signing. Was sure he was a loan first then signed like Wyness. Ho hum.

Best loan players
In terms of raw talent loaning Scott Allan and Ryan Christie are probably up there as the best players we've loaned. Thinking about popular players in on loan I recall Martin Glancy being a bit of a fan favourite ("He's short, but he's fancy").

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
I'd be surprised. The Courier and P & J largely regurgitate the same information already available in the public domain then have the cheek to stick it behind a paywall.

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
Presumably the meeting has been arranged to try and get fans onside and distract from the ludicrous position that we are in where a battery energy storage scheme is critical to the future of the football club.

Morton away March2024
Maybe we can still give Imrie the job before 1459 tomorrow.

Dunfermline home Feb2024
Still find it bizarre we signed about 18 defenders in January when our defence wasn't that much of a concern and did precious little to strengthen our attacking options when we were so piss weak up front.

Dunfermline home Feb2024
Harper probably in midfield for this one? Anyway, I fancy us here. ICT 2 - 0 Dunfermline. Danny Devine hat trick.

Hi all!
The Caley thank you very much.

Play-off hopes
A spell in League One will only be good if you enjoy the thought of us going part time.

Arbroath Away Feb2024
For a long time I'd always said we'd be just as bad if not worse under Dodds. His recruitment in the summer was honking. However, the last couple of months and some truly bizarre recruitment in January makes it very, very hard to stick with the same opinion I had before.

Arbroath Away Feb2024
Massive questions should be getting asked of Ferguson now.

No PPV but they have a dedicated commentary offering.

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
The club and ILI are / were clearly working very much 'hand in glove' on this so I'd be staggered if they didn't have some kind of input into the selection of the planning consultants behind the application. Whilst the application was approved it was, again, recommended for refusal because all of the concerns flagged by the planning department hadn't been addressed. FWIW I hope it is approved as the club desperately needs the money but this could have gone a lot better.
-
Battery Project - Chairman's Statement
They didn't really though. They submitted a shoddy application to begin with and didn't address all the points of concern (loss of green space) when handing in the extra info. That said, it's still a bizarre situation and Highland Council still come across as pretty inept.

Ferguson Out
Imrie applied for the job.

January Transfer window news
It's not unusual for one company to secure planning permission or even build out a particular development with the goal of selling it to someone else for more money.

January Transfer window news
I'm not sure about taking in a load of loan players to see us through to the end of the season. Reeks of Falkirk ~ 2018 (ish). Obviously I hope they do the job and keep us up and even somehow propel us into the playoffs.
