  1. last time we won it we only dropped two points at home all season plus were good away from home. we just dont have that grit or whatever it is this time round. i think butcher will be gone one way or the other in january if we dont win our next two games
  2. ratm have gone in to 1/11 on betfair. think the cats out of the bag maybe. **** funny if they do it :11doh:
  3. Oh come on man, hae some faith. Also, on Twitter someone said that Imrie came on for Hayes after 66mins, he must have been kept quiet or Butcher has gone mad subbing our best player. By the way a point will not be bad and actuaally fair reflection of game and also it is a point closer to safety sorry aint got any left.we've blown it. big changes in january now i would expect
  4. a draw here kills any hopes i may have had of winning the league
  5. I would settle for that, but would prefer Sanchez for Odhiambo. ditto
  6. aye it was a good performance. a bit worrying that we couldnt kill the game off but we created many chances and rooney again showing why he's the best striker at the club. as others said, 1 .0 going on 5 or 6. good show all round.duff didnt put a foot wrong and slotted in well. imrie on the other hand was pretty dire when introduced. thought their sending off was a tad harsh but who cares.
  7. fog is not shifting and sub zero temp. this has farce written all over it
  8. think most of duncans detractors made up their mind about him a long while back and aren't for turning. :hale:
  9. duncans a legend.give him a new 5 year deal :hale:
  10. i'm actually more positive now than after the first 6 or 7 games that we have the players needed to win the league, bar a decent centre half in jan. if, and its a big if at the minute, we can win our next 3 and have some results go for us for a change i think we'll be there or thereabouts come may time. crucial next few weeks though
  11. well deserved. :(
  12. gonna be some team out next week now :D
  13. foran :D
  14. sounds like lional saved us with a "fabulous last ditch tackle" :P
  15. aye i think we'll do it. russeldinho must be due a goal
  16. whilst prone to the odd mare i can see lional playing a blinder tomoro. 2.0 ict
  17. hot balls me thinks. jammy gits as per usual
  18. bad draw for both teams really. should be a decent game if nothing else though. i think we'll do it
  19. i'd take a point right now.
  20. yeah i'm quite fond of my seat too. dont think you need to eject the season ticket holders anyway, just put names on or mark all the season ticket seats and leave all the rest unallocated, thats still gonna leave heaps of space for people to go
  21. hope imries not hung for that. it was daft but ref blew it . if that was red yhen what about higgins.
  22. lets hope its not a game of two halfs this one. phenonemal first half from us, easily the best we've played in years so lets keep it going. glad butcher went with hayes. anyone still want to drop rooney ? :D
  23. section E till i die :) but i'll still help out with the singing :)
  24. Actually, there are half a dozen previous Scottish Managers with a higher win percentage than Brown! I didnt go back through them all, but of the "modern era" from the 70s onwards, only McLeish, Ormond and Docherty have a better record than Craig Brown. Burley 3 wins from 14 = 21.43% Worse even than Berti Vogts !!! (failed to qualify for WC 2010). We are currently at 45 in world rankings, having dropped 16 places last month alone. With new numbers due out in 4 days time that include a loss to 78th ranked Wales we are likely to drop a lot lower. I wonder if we can stay above Canada who have climbed from 94th in March to 53rd last month !!! McLeish 7/10 = 70.00% (narrowly failed to qualify for Euro 2008 but his (and Smith's) results lifted Scotland to 13 in world rankings) Smith 7/16 = 43.75% (won Kirin Cup, narrowly failed to qualify for WC 2006) Burns 0/1 = 0.00% Vogts 8/31 = 25.81% (failed to qualify for Euro 2004, managed to take Scotland to record low FIFA ranking of 88) Brown 32/70 = 45.71% (qualified for Euro 1996 and WC 1998, failed to qualify for Euro 2000 after losing playoff to England, failed to qualify for WC 2002) Roxburgh 23/62 = 37.10% (qualified for WC 1990 & Euro 1992 [1st ever time qualified], failed to qualify for WC 1994) Ferguson 3/10 = 30.00% Stein 26/61 = 42.62% (failed to qualify for Euro 1980, qualified for WC 1982 & 1986) MacLeod 7/17 = 41.18% (qualified for WC 1978) Ormond 18/38 = 47.37% (qualified for WC 1974) Docherty 7/12 = 58.33% you can go right back i think and brown will still stick out as having the best record. of mcleish , ormand and docherty, none of them could compare with regard to games played but have decent records too nonetheless.
