dont think he's done much wrong, and is a bit unlucky not to be in the side every week. christ, it wasn't long ago that most people here were dreading the thought of us not getting him back in january!
  7. celtic 0. ross county 2
  8. i think theres room for a 14 or 16 team spl and scenarios where both could be workable and successfull, whether it be with two legged matches after a split, or changes to one of the cup set ups . also scope for the winter break to be reintroduced, although if that happens you could probably guarantee mild winters! gotta change it regardless, the spl is a joke as is the state of scottish football in general just now.
  9. dundee lose, we win, = title. county out of it as long as we win and barring goal difference miracle. anyone care to do a flow chart?
  10. aye, poor line up, venue and timing. wasn't remotely tempted to go so not surprised its gonna bite the dust
  11. what gets up my nose is labour continuously taking us for muppets.of their 50 westminster election pledges released yesterday, on almost half of these, westminster have no control over these issues as they are devolved to the scottish parliment. its either incompetance, arrogance or lies. actually given their track record it'll be all 3.
  12. How much does he weigh, just as matter of interest? (Getting the hang of this now, Rig... ) now , now, how dare you
  13. my brothers in noosa so thats 4!
  14. the futures bright, the futures eh , tangerine
  15. i can now through gritted teeth congratulate county on their win and agree with the comment above that there's nothing wrong with going to the final as an event , to cheer on one of the teams , BUT, this is not normal circumstances for me. there's no ******* way i could have the brass neck to support county in the final, even if i wanted them to, and i dont . i know quite a few county fans and we always exchange some banter, but i'd never live it down if i was seen within 30 miles of hampden come cup final day. well done county, come on you arabs
  16. "he's burning a bit rich" !
  17. would be suprised to see any changes again, so will see esson, proctor, tokes, munro and golly at the back. midfield is cox, duncan , hayes, eric and foran, with rooney up front. if he does change it we'll probably see sanchez in place of eric. regardless of who we're playing, home or away, this has been pretty much our line up for a while now. as has been mentioned, its mainly no nonsense at the back but we've been playing some nice stuff going forward at times and rooney and foran have done a terrific job with the long hoofs aimed at them from golly and granty , so keep it up lads!
  18. There is a ?5 online check in charge, payable for outward and inward journeys. This reduces the need for staff at check in desks and speeds up the bag checking in process. When you print the boarding card there is a barcode printed which is scanned when checking bags also to speed up processing at boarding. If the barcode is not dark enough for the scanner to read the system won't accept them. I agree that it may have been harsh to refuse travel but I have experience with barcode readers/scanners and the print must have been extremely feint for it not to scan and as such the text must have been barely legible if even that. I suggest that the passenger should have noticed this and made arrangements to print an alternative copy elsewhere. I am happy to work with Mr O'Leary, my last trip to Barcelona (Girona) was with hand luggage only which meant I walked through security to Departures, waited for my departure gate to appear on the board and walked straight onto the plane. Ryanair are one of, if not the best airline operating from Britain when it comes to punctuality and flight cancellations. If you add all the "hidden charges" (incidently they are well publicised on their website) to the cost of the flight they are still a considerable bit cheaper than the likes of BA. I really don't see where your dislike for all things O'Leary has come from. It's the best service available at the moment from a consumers point of view. exactly this
  19. NICE reply dude, you see the thing is I am over the nervous part of it, I am over the cautious part of it I am at the excited stage, I am excited about singing "stand up for the champions" at our next home match. I have run all the scenarios through in my head and that is the scenario which I am daring to dream at the moment. Caution to the wind dear boy, caution to the wind. i'll maybe join you with the caution to the wind then , once we've put queens out of their misery on sat, cos i have a sneaky feeling if we do the business, plastic whistle may well take a point of dee. :)
  20. a lot of wild assumptions there birddog. dont try to lecture me on the joys of being a football fan.i've been watching games for well over 30 years and despite many ups and downs, would certainly not classify myself as pessimist, travel arrangements for ayr are testement to that. if i wish to, in the face of trophy presention talk, which is fine, advise some caution because i like many am nervous, i will, and its you that can hit ignore if you so wish , or just go away till you arent feeling so wound up ,
  21. Erm, no, I will get ahead of myself if I like. Feel free to stick me on ignore if my optimism is ruining your bad mood. woooooo.bit touchy tonight
  22. lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. even a draw on sat will mean a winner takes all v dundee on the final day is likely. 90 mins at a time
  23. grim stuff. just the tip of the iceberg there too, with regard to iraq and the military. Thankyou labour , gordon brown and tony blair for shaming the nation with our association to the war
  24. :D beats watching him kept busy though
