  1. I think the word "interesting" could be used to describe this team selection .... not sure if I mean interesting in a good way though ........
  2. Think Imrie might be in an attacking midfield role given that he can play wide left or up front. McBain will be on the left and Cowie on the right .... Bayne Wyness Imrie Mcbain Cowie Duncan Hastings McGuire Munro Tokely Fraser
  3. It doesnt seem like it .... There's probably "normal" programming on ..... [attach=1]
  4. REQUEST: Night games play havoc with my capability to provide up to the minute updates and to record the half-time and full-time reports as I am at work and cannot access things like the skysports live ticker or streaming audio even if I wanted to !!! If anyone is able to rip the half-time and full-time reports from Sportsound (commentary for this game is not on the radio, only online) then please let me know.

  6. - An unusual fact about Inverness - when given city status in 2001, unlike other cities, no defined boundaries were set within the letters patent. - If UHI gets credited as a fully fledged university then surely it would have the largest campus in Britain (if not the world)? - covering an area that includes colleges not only in Inverness but also in Shetland, Caithness, Lewis, Perth and Elgin !!! - Yvette Cooper, the Minister of State for Housing (and former Clinton adviser) was born in Inverness (http://www.yvettecooper.com/) - "Famous" residents (in or nearby) : Penelope Keith, Jimmy Page (to 80s), Terry Nutkins, Anne Perry (author), - Helen Mirren got married in Ardersier - Robert De Niro frequently flies into Dalcross (or used to) for trips to Inverlochy Castle, Fort William - Madonna (and other famous people) flew into Inverness on her way to Skibo incidentally - Miranda Richardson, mentioned in the first post of this thread was actually born in Southport, not Inverness.
  7. Tell that to the SPL the next time we get beat :015: :015:
  8. http://www.mysteriousbritain.co.uk/hauntings/culloden.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clootie_well
  9. if that happens they receive an automatic 10 point deduction as well which would all but seal the certainty of relegation (if they still exist by the end of the season).
  10. You are both right !! There are many "clootie" wells as it is a generic term ... Munlochy: http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/munl...well/index.html Culloden: St Mary's Well - http://walking.visitscotland.com/walks/nescotland/214465
  11. All through his time at ICT, John Rankin gets called Ian Rankin by journalists who confuse him with the author ... the second he moves to Hibs, its the author who starts getting mistaken for the footballer :015: :015: :015: :015:
  12. Think CaleyFifer still maintains their website ...... http://www.invernessladiesfc.com/
  13. As should ICT !!! If our fans had a history of bad behaviour, fair enough but they dont. Lets not sanitise absolutely all the fun out of the game. At every home game at Toronto (with more than 20,000 fans) there are several of these, and the biggest ones are actually owned by the club and brought out by the stewards to start the journey round the stadium !!! [attach=1] [attach=2] they didnt even object to fan-created ones ..... [attach=3] DSCF4945.JPG_thumb DSCF5230.JPG_thumb DSCF5617.JPG_thumb
  14. Wyness is injured. as for the rest ...... ???
  15. Pantyliner makes it 1-1 :001:

  17. SP - I listened to the Gretna game via the main BBC Radio Scotland site at bbc.co.uk/radioscotland and finally got the other feed when SMEE posted that link although I dont know if it was SMEE's link or the fixing of the problem as mentioned in the email that made it work. I know that the links on bbc.co.uk/sportsound were not working. Anyhoo - I have chastised others for taking the matchday thread off-topic before, so if we need to talk more about audio problems, lets start another thread somewhere :004:
  18. Just got a reply ...... Hi Scott, Thanks for pointing this out to us - there was a technical glitch with this stream which was blocking it to non-UK users. We've relaunched the stream so fingers crossed you should be able to get the second half. Thanks again and hope this helps Yours Stevie Miller BBC Scotland Sport in other words, they blocked it the way they normally do with most games these days but realised they had screwed up when they got this message !! "This feed is not loading. Neither team has exercised its media rights to block coverage outside the UK so it should not be blocked. Please advise .... Well V Gretna is not much fun for a Caley Thistle fan !!!"
  19. the BBC when they cant sort out the streaming of a game that shouldnt be blocked !!! I hear enough silence when games are actually blocked without having to hear it when the ****ers shouldnt be !!! :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008:
  20. but you always think you are. :004: Text commentary doesnt look inspiring for either side .. 50/50 possesion, 1 shot on target from DUFC, 4 off-target from ICT and about 8 fouls each.
  21. yeah - its not opeining in anything, the embedded bbc player, real player, or any of the normal bbc urls I have stored. email sent.
  22. Cant get online coverage :008: ... its not blocked (or shouldn't be) but the game isnt loading ... having to listen to Well V Gretna
