  1. BBC Scotland corrected themselves - saying Wyness and adding that Roy McBain has just scored the third so its 1-3
  2. BBC Scotland said Bayne now 1-2 , O'Brien
  3. Team lineups - a 3-4-3 for ICT by the look of it STIRLING ALBION [attach=1] ICT [attach=2]
  4. Spoilt for choice it seems .... My bet is on Ally McCoist for manager with Durrant as his assistant. Rookie manager McCoist would also have one or two 'old-heads' advising him. Failing that - what about Butcher who is reported to be ready to come back from Oz, or maybe IHE's favourite man, Richard Gough would like a go. In all honesty, none of them could do any worse than Le Guen who drove the final nail into his own coffin when he took action against Ferguson.
  5. Unfortunately an urban myth ....
  6. fair comment. although it may be an option to rest one or two players who have had a busy time of it over the Christmas period and give one or two fringe players a chance.
  7. Scarlet - you cant argue with that post ... one of the longest thats ever been on any incarnation of this site, and unlike some of our mini-novels [:004:] its one that makes a lot of sense with some reasoned thinking from a fan calling as he sees it. Clacher - I am still 100% behind Charlie, think he will overcome the recent slump and go on in the coming seasons to keep us in the SPL as proverbial mid-tablers with odd forays higher up the table (and lower down). However I am also realistic enough (most of the time) to realise things can also go the other way. As someone who is also passionate about this club - even from this distance - I can appreciate the sentiments and legitimacy in every word you posted. I agree that he is a rookie with a lot to learn and unfortunately I simply cannot fault the (frightening) accuracy of your arguments and their consequences if we were to go in the other direction. I hope you are wrong, but your argument is indeed a reasoned and well thought out one.
  8. Fraser Caff Dods Munro Sutherland McBain Duncan Rankin Hastings Wyness Bayne SUBS (5 not 7) Brown Tokely Morgan Wilson Dargo Think thats adventurous enough, and it can easily be adapted to 4-4-2 without using a sub or to 3-4-3 by taking off one of the midfield and throwing on Barry or Dargo so that Barry or Denzil can play behind the front two if things go really well :) ... and with the subs listed the team can be re-arranged quite easily if Stirling were underestimated !!!
  9. This is what GOOGLE MAPS came up with for the journey from IV1 1FF (Caledonian Stadium) to FK7 7UJ (Stirling Stadium) GOOGLE ROUTE TO STIRLING ALBION GAME
  10. From "Binos MAD" From the South: Follow signs for Stirlingfrom the M9/M80 Northbound. From Pirnhall Roundabout follow signs for Alloa/St Andrews to the 4th roundabout and then turn left for the stadium. General: On leaving either the railway or bus station head past the new Marches shopping centre, when arriving at the Craigs roundabout(a) negotiate the underpass and take the road signposted for Alloa(Kerse Road).Keep on heading up that road-straight on at the first round about(b)through the traffic lights©at the next roundabout take the first turn-off then the first road turning left-follow this all the way to the bottom where you will encounter another roundabout and wil be able to see Forthbank
  11. no fights mee :fighting03: we all lub you maybe sometimes we are more :icon_police: than we should be in applying the :rules03: but its because we (along with many other sites) have been warned about becoming embroiled in :icon_pirate02: and all we are asking the users to do is make sure we dont get caught up in it. Anyhoo ... since you have evidently responded to IHE on another thread, it seems you are now entitled to suggest what his next tattoo will be ... we are all curious as to what you will choose ?
  12. Mee : - not having a go at you or jumping down your throat, merely responding to comments made by several people on this thread including you. - we didnt say you had posted links, just that you (and anyone else) should respect the fact that we, as site providers are now aware that we can get into trouble for the actions of others and if you cant respect that then maybe this isnt the place for you (or others who cant respect that) - the 'compilation' DVD, if I remember correctly was advertised long before we had received an official communication from the SPL regarding copyrighted material and certainly before they started going after people in the courts. As you well know, many people on this site (both of us included) have swapped links to interesting sites or footage before it became such a hot potato !! - like everyone else, you are welcome on the site if you can adhere to its rules/terms. I have no axe to grind with you, nor any grudges to hold against you. You can believe me or not, the decision is up to you. Either way, I do wish you a happy new year. If you decide to use this site then I am sure we will speak further, but if not, good luck winning loads of dosh on the poker site.
  13. The SPL are rigorously pursuing pubs/venues that broadcast illegal footage on matchdays. They are also trying to stop websites who broadcast illegal footage (live or otherwise) from doing this and have previously fired a shot across the bows of most SPL websites (official and unofficial) by warning them about allowing links to any site/person offering to supply material to which that person does not hold the copyright. Whilst it would be the person supplying the material who would ultimately be taken to task, the website has a duty of care to remove the links or disallow them or face potential legal action ... not sure what the cyber equivalent is but you could perhaps regard it as a 'thief/fence' situation where the website could be accused of 'reset' by allowing itself to act as a conduit for others to access material that was illegally obtained. I think most people have heard of things like ppLive, MaxTV, YouTube and others where various broadcasts/footage can be found but we are in an awkward situation and cant allow people to actually post a link to the location of these things. We may go over the top at times by asking people to not even mention the sites (or removing the references on a case-by-case basis depending on the context of the posting) but links are a definite no-no. If you mean that you have no regard for the site operators 'covering their ample *****' and ensuring they are not held liable for the illegal activities of others then perhaps your decision to 'flush' us for the poker site was the correct decision. You are totally welcome to resume posting on here, in fact it is nice to see you back, but if you cant deal with us preventing/removing the posting of illegal links or other things in the rules/terms of service then so be it. As previously mentioned in this thread, we cant do anything about things we know nothing about. The messaging system and contact options available to users on the site are private and we do not monitor them. Dragged back on topic - thanks FW - good New Year to you too, and to all site users.
  14. :021: :021: :021: Very good post Dan. Think the scouting thing was highlighted in the 'ask the chairman' segment and hopefully something can be done (soon). You just need to look at Falkirk and Stokes to see the impact that even a short loan spell of a promising youngster can have. Did anyone know about this guy before he went to Falkirk ? Think the recent signing of a promising youngster from down south and our interest in Liam Buchanan may be a sign that we are improving our scouting ?
  15. Ferguson stripped of captaincy at Rangers and told he wont play for club again, perhaps transfer listed. Rae made captain. major disagreement because of results against Inverness and St Mirren
  16. Radio says 'will be the biggest story of 2007' - so its got to be Le Guen or Murray resigning, a huge world class signing or maybe they have signed a Celtic legend like Larsson !!
  17. radio coverage had Roy on the right and Barry on the left with Rankin in the middle although they mentioned that Roy and Barry had 'switched' so maybe Barry started on right .... who knows, but it was Roy who setup Bayne.

    Happy NewYear

Happy New Year to one and all - friends, acquaintances or otherwise :004: - Its not midnight here yet but most of our users are at least 30 minutes into it so hope the heads arent too sore in the morn :002:
  20. Dmacca - while you are probably right, there is absolutely no excuse for what he did today and we would have had more chance with 11 players on the park than 10 - even if one of the 11 was not Black. This player has crippled Charlie Christie's game plan once too often and has to go - either to the reserves for a lengthy period or out of the club completely. CC gets criticised for his gameplans and sometimes for his subs but he routinely has to use one of his 3 options to merely keep 11 players on the park because the little nyaff is acting up and has to be taken off before being sent off. We may not have won it today because of Stokes/Latapy but Black didnt help with his infantile antics.
  21. not a knee jerk reaction, just reacting to a jerk !! (meaning Black not you ;)). If his bookings were for his determination and tough tackling then fair enough, but most have been for temper tantrums or childish petulance. get him to **** until he can behave like an adult. This game is over so subbing Wyness and Bayne is more to give them at least some rest before our next game in less than 48 hours time.
  22. dont care how good he is, or how nice he is off the park - 21 yellows and 1 red in less than a season and a half means he has to go, or at the very least be dropped for a very long time, especially as most of these bookings are for temper. If he wants to behave like a kid, let him train with them
