Club Badge/Crest
Posting 3 logos here in response to the comments on here and also in the EGM thread where someone asked for it to be posted for comparison (http://caleythistleonline.com/topic/31445-extraordinary-general-meeting-3rd-august/?page=2) This is the current official ICT logo This is the 'offending' logo with the bastardised banner below the badge (apologies for the quality of the image - its a photo of a piece of paper) For reference. this is our original logo which was more detailed on the eagle and thistle but was changed because it was too hard to replicate properly and to a decent quality on merchandise and clothing EDITED to add the image below which was in fact our original logo

Transfer in and outs
Agencies (and agents) send stuff to the club all the time ... I have lost count of the number of careless agents who have sent player offers to us instead of the club (we forward it on). Not sure if the club act on any of them but if they do get an agent or agency that send them decent leads or offers then it makes sense for them to go back to the same well time after time ... provided we have someone (like Marsella or equivalent) who can see them in person and judge over a couple of games rather than 5 minutes of a highlight video reel whether the players have something we need or not.

Player of the Year - Brechin
*** VOTING IN THE POLL ABOVE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WERE AT THE MATCH ONLY *** If you were at the match, please use the poll above to vote for your top 3 players. As a bit of fun, we have also added an option to rate the referee .... Please make sure you vote for 3 separate players. If you make an error, let us know so we can fix it. PLEASE ONLY VOTE ABOVE IF YOU WERE AT THE GAME Anyone caught trying to cheat the system WILL be banned from voting in ALL site polls...this is your only warning. **NOT at the game ?** As a result of requests received, we have made a slight change to how these threads work for site users who watched the game on TV or listened to the full game live on the radio ....... You too will now be able to cast your votes, but should do it in the thread below, and NOT in the official poll above. Just list the three players of your choosing and award 5,3, or 1 point(s). You can give the ref a mark if you want too ! These votes will NOT be counted in the official total, as we only count votes from those who where actually at the game, but it IS a way for you to participate in the process .... which many people asked for .... a happy medium we hope !!!!!

We provide and maintain the stats data for the club but they provide the squad lists and numbers. I have asked them again for this.

Transfer in and outs
Inverness CT have, today, signed defender Joe Chalmers on a two year deal. The twenty three old, who has represented Scotland at every level up to Under 21’s, spent the last two years at Motherwell having started on the books of Celtic. Chalmers made his senior Hoops debut at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium in 2012 and has also had a loan spell at Falkirk.

Queen of the South - No Smoking
Isnt that merely what other clubs already do ? The TCS has been non-smoking for several years now has it not ? and unless you are in hospitality then the same no re-entry policy applies.

Pre-season
Digital tickets with unique serial numbers would cost the club (a lot) more and whilst it would be nice, is it really needed? Seems to be a disproportionate amount of outrage on this subject but I also agree the club could also have prevented more negative PR if they simply communicated a bit better and perhaps said one of two things .... 1. Season seats are not valid for this game ... use vouchers from your book to get in free but the seating is "general admission" and first come first served ... they used to do this back in the early days when things like the odd cup game was included in your season book using the same voucher system. 2. Simply confirm that the seats to be sold first would be non season ticket holder seats and that season book holders seats were reserved until kick-off. We have a capacity of 7500+ and somewhere between 1000-2000 season ticket holders ... its not like the ground will sell out. Once the game starts then people could relocate within the stands as they wished if the seat holder didnt turn up ....

Player of the Year - Motherwell
I actually did not work out the final totals as I was in Scotland then Norway at the end of the season and have been busy doing some preparation for the new version of the software for the new season since then. Will add it to the to-do list
