ICT This Decade
I gave Barry Wilson my Player Of The Decade award due to all his achievements with us, and scoring some hugely important goals.. However, I think we have had better Midfielders/Forwards than him at the club in the past 10 years.

Official - County game is OFF
That's a good point actually, never thought of that one.. Surely a wee boost for us for the replay then if they are fit for it.

ICT This Decade
Jonny Hayes is arguably our signing of the season, but no way is he signing of the decade.

Boyd for Scotland
All time record in the SPL speaks volumes for me, especially given the fact he is only 26. And if he scores 5 goals against Europe's 'diddy teams' in Scotland colours then I'll be happy. Let me finish this statement for you. .. we need the highest quality players dispensable to us. We simply cannot afford to ignore the scoring exploits of someone like Boyd, when we are struggling to compete with the likes of Norway, Georgia and Wales. If we are to progress as a nation then we need the best players we have playing. You need to take off your tri-colored spectacles if you would rather see Iwelumo in Scotland colours ahead of Boyd. Off topic however, but I don't think Ferguson and MacGregor should be playing for Scotland again.

Injuries....
Are Tokely, Golly and Hayes likely to be fit for the C*unty game then?

New song for tomorrow
Probably pretty much the same then let's be honest.. Merry Christmas Everyone.

Butcher has to Go!
Half expected to see this when I came on tonight.. Some people need to have a word with themselves.
-
Bulvitis
I think he wouldn't be too shabby as a striker. Seems to have a better eye for goal than half of ours anyway.
-
Malky Thomson
By completing courses to gain the appropriate coaching badges.

When Hayes gets fitter
He's arguably looked like our sharpest player by far in the past few games, so don't quite know what you're getting at here Latviaboy.

2-0 Up at halftime. what would you have done?
Clacher whatever you have, it is contagious! Here's another one with your problem! Are you both suggesting we have never lost a goal before so we don't know, as a mature team, how to react when we do? It certainly seemed that way on Sunday. The team didn't know how to react, and has been pointed out in another thread, we seem to be conceding a lot of quickfire goals recently. This would perhaps suggest the team aren't quite sure how to react when conceding rather than hit the Panic button and stop playing football. Something that definitely needs to be worked on methinks.

2-0 Up at halftime. what would you have done?
This is the type of statement that really riles me!!! A team of professional footballers and somewhere on this thread it is stated that they were the more 'mature' team and guess what? The manager did not prepare them for the opposition scoring a goal. How sad that the poor wee diddims were not prepared for that! Imagine Butcher's team talk ''Now children (that is aimed at the defence) should any of those bad, bad , Dundee players score a goal, don't look surprised, don't cry, I am not allowed on to give you cuddles, just don't be too hurt. And as for you( the forwards) don't dare came back and give them too much sympathy - they are big boys now and will just have to get over it themselves. This does not mean they don't feel your support from afar. Now I have prepared you for a goal being scored against you, go back out onto that wet park and Rossco...you are not allowed that umbrella!!" . B) Think AF's lost the plot completely.. Agree with Clacher that we should have had a game plan, or at least the slightest clue what to do, if and when Scumdee got a goal back.

Hope he joins the Huns soon, then Hibs or United will definitely be sitting pretty in 3rd B) Mowbray and Butcher both making a brilliant balls-up of the Old Filth.

The thing is, there's absolutely no reasoning with Tayside Police either. Try arguing your case or explaining something, and said 'Hi-Viz, Authority driven tube' tells you to shut up or you'll be put in the cells til Monday morning. Was an utter joke. Never knew it was an offence to enter a football ground having consumed even a drop of alcohol beforehand either.

Football wins the day
Yeah gotta be said, twas a cracking game of football. Just gutted we threw away a 2 goal lead when the Cup was ours for the taking. Best ICT game I've seen for footballing reasons would be the 3-2 one v Celtic a couple of years back. To be 2-0 down to the then Champions and comeback to 3-2, then hold out with 10 men, was phenomenal.

ICT International Cap?
Does Liam Polworth get a game at this level? Yep, he's usually on the bench though, however does quite often get taken on and given a decent run out.

Missed the Imrie tackle as was having a nice wee chat with Tayside's Finest outside the ground, so will be interesting to see the replays. From what I heard it was just a daft, needless lunge though.

Team for Partick
Yeah think that should defo be our Starting XI from now on, Imrie's antics impressed noone and will not have done him any favours in getting back in the team IMO. Which is a shame, because we have been playing better of late since he returned to the squad. Odhiambo should definitely be getting introduced at some point, a bit earlier that the 89th minute aswell please Mr Terry.

Dundee -V- ICT : cup final thread
The players were awesome in the first half and obviously had a game plan set out and stuck to it. However at half time Butcher should of known what to expect from Scumdee, especially when 2,500 ICT fans knew what was coming, and should have lined the team up to deal with this. Did he do that? No. Instead Sanchez is taking off even though he was arguably the best player on the park, and we sit back and allow them to keep coming at us, inevitably conceding 3 goals. Then Imrie and Odhiambo are left on the bench far too long for them to have any impact on the game, and the cup which was ours for the taking is snatched from our grasp. Okay it's harsh just to blame Butcher, as the players needed to get the finger out after the interval, and if not then, then definitely after the equaliser, and they never did. But some of the reasoning as to why we lost from such a strong position has to be ointed at his tactics from 45 minutes onwards.

That was feckin hilarious, made my day! She asked me to open her bottle for her even though it was empty and had no lid on it.. Hooruva mess she was in. I was trying not to burst out laughing then which she didn't take too kindly to. Never mind though, if theirs one consolation for her its that you get the same food as Inverness Collage in the cells You were my hero for doing that.. Thought she was gonna be sick on me any minute till she started on you, was giving it the typical drunken sway. On the game, first half was awesome stuff, we were an absolute joy to watch and were tearing Scumdee a new one. It was 2-0 going on 5. Dunno what in the name of f*ck was said at half time but it didnt have the desired effect clearly. How did we manage to fall apart that easily and ship 3 goals, with a one time world class defender in charge of us? Butcher would probably do a better job as a defensive coach methinks. Oh and it's only a matter of time before Renegade starts calling for Bulvitis to partner Lionel upfront after that finishing.
