Caley Jags 2017/18 squad + changes in/out
MorayJaggie replied to Council Juice's topic in Caley Thistle
Austin signed an 18 month contract I believe. -
I'd agree with you there renegade he wasnt the best but could that be down to a lack of match time?

Warren certainly showed determination against Brechin literally throwing his body on the line for the cause.

Just watched Darren Dodds post match interview on Brechin's website and even he says they handled Baird and Bell but couldn't cope with Oakley's size and strength.

Yes hopefully some good game time and comes back to strengthen the squad for the play off push.
-
I don't think uncle Roy can help them this season with his money. There is a problem with the squad I've no idea what it is but they aren't playing as a team. It could still come to a caley county play off final.

Oakley and Austin up front
-
After today's game at brechin definitely Oakley he was more powerful skillful and packet and got two goals. He needs to start he gives the midfield options.
-
We seemed to start playing better at the front when Oakley came on first goal was an og by brechin. Baird was pants the brechin defence dominated him but couldn't cope with Oakley his presence and strength shown through and his little dink past Smith in the brechin goal put a smile on my face as it wiped the smug smile off smiths face. Funny how he started running to collect balls after that one. But to go and get the winner after being down to 10 men good effort and I'm putting that at Oakley feet he seemed hungrier for the ball.

Looking at Austin stats he's played 680ish mins this season in the championship with 3 goals not exactly a good show of form to put either Baird or Oakley out of a job.
-
I would agree with Mark Ridgers his confidence has grown as well as his distribution and command of the box. Like you say kingsmills a lot of folk were calling for his head and he got benched but that did seem to give him the proverbial kick in the arse to improve and he came back stronger more confident and yes he has made some amazing saves. The fact we have him signed up long term gives stability in the defence.

Merry Xmas fellow ICTFC fans hope you all had a good day.

Having watched the highlights Raven wasn' the last man there was cover and the Morton player seemed to throw himself down as if he'd been shot poor refereeing again. Last two defeats have both come as a result of bad refereeing as even at 10 men Morton couldn't break out defence.

Access for 3 years minimum then What? Tulloch apply for planning permission. It's also nice to note that they are keeping control of the car parks and still charging us 15k a year for the privilege. Plus the 3.6 million they helped us out with they have made back about 2.5 million in rent from us so not exactly the heroes everyone is making them out to be.
-
If we are getting on average 2100 attendances and this is spl attendances how are they financially viable as a club?

Hamilton v county attendance today was 1200.

CLUB STATEMENT : AGM & Annual Report : 23/11/17
MorayJaggie replied to ICTFC's topic in Caley Thistle
I think everyone should just park at Tullochs headquarters on match ay and get a supporter bus arranged to ferry us to the games. Tulloch don' care about the club it's obvious and their refusal to deny the removal of the car parks speaks volumes -
So who have we got signed up on what deals? Coll in a 2 year deal.

The Tulloch reply basically says we have plans that will take several years to get past the council and we will move the car parks.
