  1. How is it harder to crack down on an individual than a group. If their language merited speaking to be police or steward they should be ejected. Very simple as their behaviour is criminal in respect of causing offense to others no different from what's been said in the media. But it's ok as it's older fans doing it. Also if they continue that behaviour at other games then they should be banned. No i don't believe that people are staying away because of these lads. They are staying away because of the position the club fonds itself after being literally run into the ground with embarrassingly poor facilities and infrastructure and poor management over the past few years.
  2. The club won't be cracking down on the sweetie wrapper brigade it's obvious they are prejudice against the young fans of this club by the wording of the statement. It's in black and white, harks back to the old saying of seen and not heard.
  3. I'm not referring to the behaviour with this post. The area is at in last Saturday was the opposite side of the stand to where the young lads were and there were several broken seats in this section in fact there were broken seats throughout the whole stand are brechin charging us for all of them. My other point is there were no warnings or cordoned off seats or any stewards or club officials directing fans away from thsee broken seats. So surely brechin must be held account for allowing paying fans into a facility that isn't safe. It can't be one rule for one and one for another. As others have said they want a safe match day experience Brechin failed to provide this last Saturday.
  4. The first I've heard of damage in the ground being caused is in the club statement nothing has been mentioned before this. Can brechin prove this conclusively because whilst attending the dons game last week there were seats in a dangerous condition throughout the stand not just in the corner the indcidents took place and no attempt by brechin or its quality stewards to cordon these off a week later.
  5. Why don't the club let fans know about the bounce games?
  6. He was red carded for his reaction to an absolute howler of a tackLe by the aberdeen no 11. I Don't blame Trafford for the way he reacted
  7. We did at the elgin game and it didn't bother us. Again with the grammer comment my point being proved about the tea and biscuits. We also pay our money to have an exciting match day experience not a wake.
  8. Also I've heard from several sources at the game that the stewarding and policing aggravated the problem why are we condoning that. Also from last season rangers, celtic and aberdeen fans while attending inverness games cause more trouble yet our stewards and police do nothing. But all the old fuddy duddies on here just moan and complain because their simple life's are being disrupted it's terrible, a joke that you actually want our supporters to sit quietly and do as their told. My three boys love the atmosphere the lads create in the north stand. It's a football match where we go to show our passion for our team not to sit with a cup of tea biscut and blanket and say good show old chap well played.
  9. I don't agree with all the old supporters continually bickering about the old days I never supported either caley or thistle and have only been a ictfc fan to me and the subsequent generations my own sons included our stadium is the caledonian stadium our colours red and blue this is not caledonian or thistle it's ictfc. The merger was done it's been in place for 23 years. This is our identity now and for me always should be.
  10. If anyone who was at the Brechin game was at the elgin friendly pre season the young lads did the same let of a smoke bomb there and the reaction from the stewards there was impeccable they put it in a bucket of water and continued to talk chat and engage positively with the group there was no mass hysteria involved here. I would suggest having worked as a police officer that the stewards need to be better trained on how to handle groups of people who are out to enjoy themselves and if they can't control a small group of teenagers they really should get a new job. I have policed aberdeen Rangers matches where hatred violence and pure rage were the order of the day involving us to dawn full riot gear. Perspective is needed.
  11. How many of the 707 were ict fans?
  12. Dundee, County, Raith, Dunfermline and Falkirk all struggled today in Alba cup I say Partick for SFL1 title.
  13. Full Time Elgin City FC 0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC 6
  14. 6 nil eric second of the night
  15. The sponsor on the stips the boys are using for pre friendly is a big white rectangular box with orion group in it stuck on the front of last seasons strip. I appreciate it is just a make do strip but it looks awful. Pictures of the strip are on caleyjags.com,
  16. Yes agree it has been lashing it down here all day and borough briggs isin't the best for drainage on a dry day it must be like a swimming pool by now.
  17. I think with the team we have an excellent mix of youth and experience and the fact they all have a full season together under their belts (bar new signings). We should be looking at 7th place minimum. What other team last season matched our run outside the old firm. The gap between the spl and first division is not as big as people make out just look at all the splsides put out by first division opposition in the cups.
  18. I think the boy Danny Lennon as he has never managed at this level is inexperienced and has filled his side with former part time second division players. (BARROWMAN) springs to mind here looked what happened when we took him from SFL2 to SPL complete faliure.
  19. does that club have any imagination? they are soo dull. Dull maybe but 100% better quality than errea definatley. Why can't we do a dealwith nike fila puma or addidas
