Alex I was quoting other posters when I said Niculae replacement, I agree with you about the need for an experienced forward but my concern is that expectations may be too high. I think Granty may be a revelation this season and he is more than capable of filling the void left by Dods, given time he'll come good.

I see lots of references on this forum about and I quote "Nicuulae replacement" and I wonder whether this is creating expectation amongst the fans and whether this will in turn put extra pressure on any new striker/strikers we may get. Remember this team grew as a team and it will move forward as a team, looking to an individual to pull the rest of the team forward is folly as we witnessed last term and creates unrest in the dressing room re wages, etc.. I for one look forward to the new season not to see another prima donna putting himself in the shop window but to watch the team I love compete at the highest level they are likely to reach and maybe have a good cup run.

Why change username anyway? Unless your username includes a former player like Robson Wyness Dargo Mann etc. or former manager like Pele Brewster Robbo there should be no need as it will be confusing for all the octogenarians on here.

Rossco's too inconsistant to be captain, we need a regular starter who is consistant and not afraid to shout his mouth off when need be. Grant Munro for example, best man for the job at the moment.

The real issue here is that it's not the clubs themselves who will suffer most because of this but the young players, I'd like to think that ICT could offer these players from across the bridge some support in that respect maybe sharing the training facilities and "registered coaches". Would that satisfy the SFA rules to permit County to participate?
