Could Hearts FC be Relegated?
its disgusting and I dont trust it. Is Wilson really happy to sign for 50% without any hidden bonuses?

Donkey or Longmuir
Trouble is, it's all through a media lens. I'm not sure exactly how good a job a person does based on their remit. For instance, I believe Doncaster was there to obtain as much money for the SPL as possible. That obviously means getting Rangers on board. The sporting integrity bit was down to the clubs and the SFA. So, was Doncaster actually being criticised for something not in his contract, i.e. fairness and 3rd Division, rather than finances and 1st Division as he put the case for? I also don't think it was his job to detail the sharing of the cash. So, if he gets the TV deals, then Celtic take it all, leaving other clubs with beans, is that his fault if other clubs then crash? Just to emphasise, I'm not saying Doncaster has done a good job. But is his remit finance, marketing or fair play? I don't think I have enough facts for a judgement. Possibly, a spokesman is needed to sell our game more (an Ally McCoist/Gordon Strachan-media friendly larger-than-life optimist). After all, last season was the most exciting in years. Then let the moneymen take a backseat, getting deals based on that media presence. At the moment, I don't find PR taken seriously at all.

Depends if you get the mixing bowl or the salad plate. Have a look at Newham or Bradford to see how well it works with only blind optimism...but we get off the point. Let's stick to football.

Could Hearts FC be Relegated?
Normally I would agree but this was coming a mile off. The fans refused to believe what everyone else was saying as the meeja was against them obviously. Rangers fans, and Dunfermline, can at least say they had no idea of the situation until it was well underway. Hearts should have known from a couple of months in.

Roman Golobart Benet
He was like Titus Bramble or Gary Caldwell. Very talented but not as much as he thought and could be a real bombscare. Alongside a Terry Butcher, he'd be great but he needs that strong defensive figure next to him.

The better youth dont want to stay. They would rather the bench at Bournemouth, Derby, Fulham etc, than competing for cups or Europe, as it brings in extra pounds.

I'd much prefer a situation, as in some countries, where the majority of players (or even a significant minority) have to be from the country (which would include the rest of the UK and Ireland - the integration is just too deep). So, I voted for option 2 as an ideal but I doubt Barcelona and Chelsea will sign up to that ideal, so why should we be disadvantaged?

SPL Transfers
Entire Hearts squad up for sale, with difficulties in paying the next wages. Bet Danny Wilson's glad he signed!

Croatia vs Scotland
But will Feruz even get a game in the next 2-3 years at Chelsea? Might staying at Celtic or going to a lesser club like WBA or Wigan got him more game time. Coming through at Chelski is no easy feat.

A Kenny Shiels Review
I enjoyed him. But then, I enjoy David Brent. Nothing worse than a respectable manager, i.e. someone sitting in the dugout not saying boo to a goose. Let's have some fun instead. I love it when Lennon kicked that bottle when losing to ICT. Or when Strachan gets annoyed by a perfectly reasonable question. Or Big Jum McLean socking it to a hack. I also thought he had some good ideas. Yeah, on the face of it, he didn't do well this year in the SPL but that doesn't tell the whole story. He's brought in some youngsters, developed a few good players and won silverware. And but for injury time, would have been in the top six. All ifs and buts I know. There were some good ideas in amongst the bluster though. I just hope a bigger than life character isn't replaced by a subserviant lapdog.

Libya can be kicked out of the African Union (political) but can never be kicked out of Africa (geographical). Likewise, Alaska was once not part of the United States of America but has always been part of America. Renegade got it right. There's no political union called the British Isles. Ireland is located in the geographical area called the British Isles but the Falklands are not, despite being a British Territory.

Lost Griffiths but gained OTJ. That's about equal then? Errr...

Sheez, do people honestly believe OTJ is moving from a settled top six side to an out-the-first-round-and-rebuild Hibs side for the challenge? Money. 'Nuff said! There's the same challenge at ICT (although the biggest challenge is staying fit enough to justify his contract - not sure he'll manage that). Flood? Good player. Not a great player but would get in every team bar Celtic.
