Disciplinary Points - ICT near top
Interesting to see we have the worst disciplinery record in the whole division , will we get a fine at the end of the season ? No we don't...we have most red cards, but not the worst record....not by a long shot. Agree with Caley D. There was a league table of disciplinery records in one of the papers this week and we were actually only half way up it. Have to admit I was surprised at this but giving that we are normally commended for good behaviour I doubt we would be fined first off anyway.

squeeky bum time
Have to agree with Yngwie. Havent really worried too much about this until now but if we dont get something on wednesday I think we will all start to panic.

Rangers go into administration
The gers fans are running a campaign to punish any sponsors associated with the sfa. Dunno if this will work but wonder if firms will get worried if they are targeted. However this will probably put off firms from putting money into Scottish football so could backfire if rangers do manage to put their house in order.

Butchers No Show at Testimonial
No sorry dont buy this! He is ICT manager and its his job to turn up as it was ICT v Ross County in the first half. He would not have got booed and I doubt he would even have got much stick. He could have watched from the hospitality area if he wanted. He missed some good performances from the younger players by not being there. BTW in not giving Russell and Grant new contracts Terry Butcher was just doing what he felt was right at the time ie his job. and although I dodnt agree with him I respect his right to make it.I think the damned if he did option was the one he should have taken in many fans eyes. He is the ICT manager, certainly....but he had.... as far as I can see...... absolutely bugger all to do with the testimonial....if you read the Testimonial FB page. I'd have been very surprised if the team wasn't picked from volunteers to play, as opposed to Butcher choosing it and making them play. Re the He would not have got booed and I doubt he would even have got much stick comment........you have a lot more faith in the decency of the usual suspect ICT "supporters" who post on here than I have after nearly three years of reading them...but then you may know them personally and know they whine on here for the sake of something to say........I don't and can only go by what I read. And, given the fact that it was a celebration of what Munro and Duncan did for the club in their years here......the fact that you can even say I doubt he would even have got much stick simply illustrates that you know that there would have been some who would have been arseholes just because they could. The Ross County forum for football supporting as opposed to carping is much better value than this one, tbh. A lot less hard on the blood pressure, anyway. Anyway...do any of you know that he hadn't already spoken to Grant, Russell and the testimonial committee before he decided to not turn up and the reasons he gave for that decision? He has no obligation to tell us anything, even if you all think you own all his time. Oddquine lets just agree to disagree eh? TB is a big boy and Im sure he can cope with a bit of criticism. I dont think anyone would cope with his sort of job if they werent thick skinned. As fot the posters on here well it would be a very boring world if we all agreed on everything wouldnt it? This is a well run forum where fans can argue their points within reason and I for one think thats how it should be. Of course no one is carping on the county forums just now as they are on a great winning run have won the title and are being promoted. Im sure if you looked back at our posts at the end of our promotion run I doubt there was much complaning of here either! Lets see if that continues for them when the going gets tough (as it enivitably will be at some point). As for me well I spend a lot of money following ICT and as long as I put my points across in a sensible and reasoned way well dont see any proble with having a different opinion to others!

Butchers No Show at Testimonial
OK I apologise! He had an excuse. Would have been nice to see him there tho. Oh and in reply to Gringo Jnr I dont think anyone was meaning this to be a Butcher Out thread. Well not me anyway.

The Highland Derby
I dont remember there being a terrific rivalry between Caley and County in the old days and doubt that jags had a great one either. However it must have become more intense when Bobby Wilson took over as manager and won the HL twice I think! Elgin were number 1 enemy with Huntly Keith and peterhead winning things but at different times (70s and 80s). My number one memory of Dingwall is probably not much good to your project but County had a small wooden stand and one midweek match my friend and I were sitting beside the tunnel. Roddie Davidson took a head knock and had to come off due to blood pouring down his face. My friend who was blood phobic took one look at him and fainted needing medical attention herself. I remember being really surprised when they won election to the sfl everyone thought it would be ourselves and Gala Fairydean but as now it was seen as great news that 2 highland teams had done well.

Rossco, Calder and Christie for me but they were all fab. Mccuish takes a better throw in than the first team!

Munro & Duncan Testimonial Match
Grants goal v celtic last season. The look on his face after scoring said it all and it made Lennon mad always a plus point.

Muirfield investment?
Starting not to care. What's all the mystery?

Butchers No Show at Testimonial
Dunno about that DD. Personally I feel that as ICT manager he should have been there regardless. It would have made him look like a bigger person.I think probably all should have moved on.

Will Next Season Be Butcher's Last?
Not calling for his head yet but I do think he needs to take responsibilty for this seasons debacle. It has been wretched and I for one cant wait for it to end. The ones that should maybe be ost concerned are the board because the shouts of "Im not renewing my season ticket to watch this rubbish" are becoming deafening and fro folk who have stuck by this club in good and bad times.

ICT -V- Aberdeen
I think yesterday is one of the lowest points of my watching ICT (and Caley before them) Only surpased by the feeling of being relegated. For us to put out a team without a Scots born player is dreadful and to me is totally against everything that caley jags stands for. When the second goal went in I found myself walking out before the end for the first time ever and turned around to see that nearly everyone was following me. The majority on the field looked like they couldnt give a s##t for our club or fans and should be ashamed to pick up their wages. Going to the testimonial this afternoon boy do I need cheered up!!!!!
