Northern Meeting Park, Bught, Below Charleston Complex were all sites investigated by Caledonian FC well before the merger was mooted and all were rejected, by the Council etc for various reasons. As far as I remember Stratton Farm was sold to the clubs at the time re the Golden Mile would have been extended out to Smithton by now. That hasnt happened and although our present location is far from ideal sometimes, the Stratton one would have been disasterous imo as its too far to walk to from the City Centre. I do remember Norman Miller stating that there would be no merger if the stadium was to be sited so far out of town! However if we are allowed to choose a location from a wish list I too would choose the Bught area.

Row S at the moment there are no more buses thats all I can tell you. There may well be a walk of a similar distance for the bus folk as the police havent disclosed where we are going to park yet. It may be a shorter walk than the train it may not be... My advice is if you want to be certain of transport with cjt book the train.

Cant tell you what to do but I would probably plump for the train? Im on the train dont see it as being a hassle tbh. Remember you may have to walk to Celtic park from a coach stop too.

You've got the option of heading to central and getting the low level to Bridgeton aswell. That's alot closer to Parkhead than Bellgrove is. The special train ticket includes return travel to Belgrove in the price. I'm assured it's only a ten minute walk max.

Wasn't shut in at courier but I have to say the car park at stadium was like a ploughed field last night. £3 goes towards the stewarding of car park I understand. I park on the street beside the courier personally.
