  1. reading between the lines of Caleyrule's posts we are going to have new owners in place soon and that's why no contracts have been offered and no further investment is being made into the club... ... maybe Terry's going to spend his vast amounts of media revenue on a takeover bid :024:
  2. 17 goals in 23 games for Rory!!!!
  3. Come off it mate, I don't care how busy Fiona was that is a p!ss poor attempt of a report, which was also 12 hours behind what everyone else knew. "The club have confirmed the transfer of Dougie Imrie to Hamilton FC and the release of Andrew Barrowman from his contract. We would like to thank both players for their service and wish them all the best in their furture careers." It looks more like a statement of disinterest than an update
  4. I think you're missing the point and trying (very hard) to start an arguement even when you haven't read all the facts.
  5. Ordered
  6. Being as positive as I possibly can here... am I right in thinking Calderwood has only ever lost 1 game to us?? Before he was made manager I was very very confident but now I'm not... he is a complete and utter pr!ck and always seems to get one over us.
  7. Course he will, and guarenteed to score against us.... f*cking terrible signing, I wonder if it was Grassa or Brewster who was responsible for that gem. Must have cost the club an absolute fortune for a player that scored goals in 2 divisions below... I can't believe that the club let him hold us to ransom over wages I thought he could have been good for us if he was played in a front 2 but he was never given a run of games in that position and to jump 2 divisions and be asked to play lone striker in his first season was never going to work out. I don't think there has ever been a better demonstration of how amateur our board are.... sign a player from 2 divisions below, offer him massive wages and then when it doesn't work out pay his remaining contract so he can be released to our rivals (currently sitting higher in the league) where he will, without doubt, recapture his goal scoring form
  8. I like Imrie and think he was a player that had a genuine affection for the majority of our fans/Inverness. I'm sure the recent section G hate campaign probably made up his mind but he was a player that left everything on the pitch and had some character (which you don't often see from a lot of players these days) My main problems with him as a player are, he doesn't have a natural position i.e too slow for the wing and not affective when played upfront. He was too inconsistent, injury & suspension prone, however, when he was on form he would win a match for us and showed some tremendous skill & some terrific goals I always expected him to leave because he is a sellable asset and at the moment the club is pinching every penny but if they were going to sell him it should have been before the start of the season when he would've sold for more money and it could be reinvested, not on the last day when there was no oppertunity to sign a cheaper alternative!!!! (take breath) All the best to Dougie, he should enjoy the remainder of time Hamilton have left in the SPL (wont be long)
  9. 3 things... 1. ... that is f*cking brilliant :) 2. Sorry to hear you've been ousted CD, sounds like a shoddy way of being treated, not only as an employee (paid or unpaid) but as a fan who has contributed so much throughout the years and then to be dumped aside because of a few comments is ridiculous. 3. Cyril's a c0ck :)
  10. have we? I think Sanchez has more skill, control and creativity. Really? I think Wyness is one of the most creative players we've ever had at the club. Usually these attributes are the last thing to go for a player... playing amateur football in Glasgow it's the 40+ players are always the most composed and creative players on the park. Can't see it happening though...
  11. you'll have egg on your face if we sign both :P Was just saying if Wyness is played as an attacking midfielder (more provider than goal scorer) I think he could do just as good a job if not better than Sanchez, no? goals win games... score more than them and we don't need a decent defence
  12. Yeh I know what you mean mate, he must be an excellent trainer/brown noser because I've never seen him have a good game... tbh there has been a few players that have played for Milan and the Azzuri, who have flattered to deceive To an extent Seedorf is another one, I can't believe he has 4 champions league medals and is the only player to win the cup with 3 different teams!!! I've started to appreciate his contribution more as I got older but still can't believe at one point he was the most expenisive player in the world, especially when he hasn't got 1 notable position Also, I remember watching a young Silvestre playing for Inter and thinking to myself "how does he manage to get a game for them" and then hearing he was signing for Man U 2 weeks later. :cry01:
  13. I don't think Wyness could play upfront for us but if he was signed to play in the hole i.e. instead of Sanchez he'd do a grand job IMO.. football has no place for sentiment (apparently) but I'd love to see him end his career at ICT and I'd love to see the shuffle a few more times Mo Camara... a year ago my reply would be "**** off he's probably the worst player I've ever seen, infact, he is the worst player I've ever seen" now, "aye he would probably do a job for us"
  14. With Golly injured as well we're going to struggle for defensive cover unless we get someone else in
  15. ffs finances must be bad.... obviously we don't know what the 'nominal fee' actually was but Butcher seemed to desperate to keep him at the club. If true, gutted.... we were just starting to show signs of a settled defence as well. Maybe he'll be looking to try Tokely at centre half again and Proctor at right back... When's Duff back?
  16. As long as you and DC are standing at opposite sides of our 'HATS' (hands around Tulloch Stadium) love raiser we'll be good.
  17. Is Huntelaar really that bad? Seen him play a few games for Ajax and looked a cut above... his goals/game ratio was excellent. Haven't really had the chance to see him play for Madrid and now Milan I thought Borrelio did alright last night, they didn't really have anyone running from the midfield, Seedorf, Gattuso & Ambrosini are all very defensive... basically they missed a Kaka
  18. Nice one all the best, much love If Mel Gibson couldn't even unite the clans, what is your strategy for uniting the fans? Holding hands at games as a sign of unity?
  19. Thanks mate It's cool though DC is happy to hide behind his faceless internet persona because he knows if he spoke to me like that in the real world he wouldn't have a face left..... ... and that's not a threat it's a prediction of what my reaction would be :) Harry the hardman :) not so much, I already PM'd you to try and sort this out with a pint before the C*unty match was cancelled but you declined. You've taken issue with me for whatever reason.... man up or shut up :)
  20. A pint maybe but that's it
  21. 22 goals conceded in 18 games for a team like Stoke... I doubt James competed with that tally last season at Pompey Mark Yeates [Middlesbrough - Sheffield United] Undisclosed He just moved to Middlesbrough at the start of the season, I thought he was decent as well ... Strachan obviously not a fan A good record yes but Stoke in general have a fairly big solid back line. And they're a physical bunch who dont really concede. But I wouldnt say Sorensen is the key to that. Na mate Sorensen has had something like 5 penalty saves this season, he's a cracking keeper. (also earns me a ton of points for my fantasy team) James is maybe a level above but when you already have a keeper performing well I would have thought Stoke would use the wages elsewhere to strengthen their team
  22. Thanks mate It's cool though DC is happy to hide behind his faceless internet persona because he knows if he spoke to me like that in the real world he wouldn't have a face left..... ... and that's not a threat it's a prediction of what my reaction would be
  23. The OP has only stated his disapointment in the amount that travelled to see the team in a very important game but as usual his post has been turned into " I'm a better fan than you " type affair , at no point does he stste that he's more of a fan than anyone else yet the misguided fools on here will twist any post to fit there own agenda , one poster even mentions ultras FFS . I don't think anyones stated there any less or more of a fan, mostly people are posting the reason why they couldn't make it. ... I think you're misguided... and a fool
