  1. Can't believe how well we played in that first half!! Hayes was outstanding... the Dundee defence didn't know what to do with him, Proctor won every header in the centre of the park and Rooney was doing a grand job holding up the ball.... to be fair you can pick out any of our players in the opening 45 minutes because the team was truely outstanding. At half time Butcher had a conundrum... did he attack to get the 3rd goal i.e. kill the match or sit back and conserve our lead??? The team did neither Instead we looked like 11 pedestrians and fell apart after 5 minutes in. Their first goal should never have happened... complete and utter f*cking joke but exactly the sort of goal we've been conceding all season.... shambles!! Fair play to Hart for their second goal.. marking was attrocious but it was a real quality cross & header. 3rd was also quality from Dundee... they seemed to be targeting Golly down the right wing (our left) with Harkins & Hart double teaming him (oooh err). I don't think Butcher could have changed the team from the first half because we were that f*cking good and after we lost the 1st he must have brought on Cox to strengthen the midfield but the damage was done on the flanks we needed support from midfield for Golly & Tokely Was absolutely gutted... wasn't even going to go as well but saying that the banter all day was excellent, great to see all the faces and the first half was worth the admission it's only a diddy cup anyway
  2. cairngorm thanks anyway but managed to sort out something for me and a mate appreciate the offer and hopefully you don't have any trouble offloading the ticket
  3. appreciate the offer mate... I heard a rumour that the club might still be selling the left over tickets but if not and you have a spare i'd be happy to take it off your hands

Your best going to the teams that are unlikely to sell out... I'd recommend Wigan, went a couple of seasons ago and had a cracking day/night out. Really welcoming and friendly support Went to Turfmoor last year for the ICT friendly.. loved how old school the stadium was but think you'd struggle to get tickets
  5. For all us idiots that haven't bought tickets yet.. is there anyway of getting in on the day or will I have to watch from the hill??? Appreciate any help/advice cheers
  6. That's a very sad attitude. A cup is a cup is a cup. What are these people waiting for, a Champion's League final? I find it ridiculous that hibbees and jambos would want to travel up from Edinburgh to watch, but supposed fans can't be *rsed. I think it's more about the time of the year tbh! I'm struggling, having spent money on travelling up for the C*unty game and had the mrs birthday last weekend I am really scraping the barrell to make it a long to this... especially when christmas is coming up and I know the game is being shown live on ALBA saying all that, I'm sure I'll be there
  7. It'll be a foreign manager, no other Scotts stand out. Darren Ferguson would be the only one worth considering IMO and he has proved diddly squat
  8. Think that's an excellent idea as long as I would get an invite Demonoid (downloading site) work in a similar way I can certainly see where Scotty/Caley D are coming from on this though... where's the reward for them taking the time to run the site only to be abused for the way it's run or have to deal with nimrods going onto P&B after they're banned calling them all sorts. I wouldn't, in fact, that's why I turned down the oppertunity to be a moderator because it's just too much hassle! I've been posting here for 6/7 years, love it, especially living in Glasgow where I have limited folk to discuss ICT related topics. I can't afford to make as many games anymore (grown up resposiblities and all that) so this is one of the few links I have to my claims of being an ICT supporter. Scotty/Caley D I hope you can keep the forum going because I would be truely gutted if it wasn't here anymore because of a few idiots that don't realise the work that goes in behind the scenes.. and that not everything deserves to be handed to them on a plate. Helindee has it spot on though, I think the majority of posts are negative at the moment because a lot of the fans might not have witnessed the work the club/fans/playes put in to making us an SPL club (until recently). Now we're not living up to their expectations all they can do is rant & argue
  9. Dingwall is at a higer altitude than Inverness... that's why we lost
  10. First half, I couldn't see a thing because of the low sun and if everyone's going to use the pitch as an excuse then I'll use the sun as mine. We were all over the place, Proctor was lost in the centre of the park and as Mike says our defence didn't have an outball because neither him or Duncan were willing to come short to take it off them + Gardyne was working his erse off in the hole. Looked as though we hadn't learnt a thing from the first game, IHE's right if Butcher had changed it and we'd lost he'd be getting pelters from our support but I think that's the hard decisions you expect your manager to make. There is a lot of work to be done in the January transfer window
  11. I'll be there

    :) can't believe you washed :)
  13. yeh was great to have 2 attacking full backs but Hastings was a lot more solid for the SPL where Golly seemed to be found out after coming back from injury. Crazy how it's turned out that now Butcher feels Golly is the preferred choice for the SFL
  14. Would agree with that but Golly wasn't at the top of his game the season we had our best defensive record in the SPL 05/06 (????)

Hope he does end up in management eventually.. another potenial ICT leader Absolute legend.. my favourite player to wear the ICT jersey, never/rairly put in a bad performance for us.... absolute fecking legend!!
  16. Hastings was one of the most consistent players we ever had at the club and part of the best defence we've ever had: Brown Tokely Dods Munro Hastings For whatever reason some of our fans never took to him but I can't honestly understand why.... should still be at the club and should have finished his career here. Shame Kind of sickening to see him at Hamilton and if we hadn't won the last 2 games so convincingly I think a lot of our fans would be asking why we let him go.
  17. In the new football manager 2010, I signed a centre half, right winger & left back.... sold Barrowman. Team is undefeated in 5 Butcher take heeed!
  18. No sign of my ticket, fingers crossed it will be in the post this week
  19. The problem has always been people judging from the outside without having the full details to understand what goes on on a daily basis and what has been expected from Mike Smith He has received a fair amount of flack from this forum and I don't think it's fair that he's been used as a scapegoat but we live in a blame culture and every likes to point the finger. The gypogate, he had his hands tied but as someone already mentioned, did he really need to kick up such a storm? would there really have been action from the police if he had ignored the situation and just had a quiet word with the stewards? All I can comment on is the conversation I had with him and he seemed like a decent bloke, at least responded to my email and provided a detailed explanation for his actions. Being a manager isn't about being liked, infact, the most efficient for the business are usually the most hated... I just hope Darren knows what he's in for because as soon as there's a slip up our fans will demand his head on a platter.
  20. That could be the next formation - reckon Eric on the bench fer the next couple of weeks will also pay dividends - and unleash this against Coatbridge. I just get the impression from Butcher's post match comments that he will be starting Eric as soon as possible... and I imagine Rooney will be first to be dropped
  21. Thought the ref did well and at least had the sense to overturn his decision + did he not give a penalty against Celtic at Parkhead??????? Case closed!
