  1. Some emails flying about my work..... ooohhh the glasgae banter :) gers1.bmp
  2. Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Golly Proctor Duncan Odhiambo Sanchez Imrie Foran Odhiambo will be playing I reckon, so either him upfront himself or on the right and Foran back as lone striker Hope he sticks with a similar formation either way
  3. Got mine sorted today.... bit worried about the postal strikes though, especially with the 2nd class post
  4. Again, that's because the BBC didn't do an interview and I could be pretty sure that the man from Westsound whom Moray Firth had there would not have done so either. Post match audio interviews almost certainly do not exist. Your next chance of post match comment should be tomorrow's Courier. Sorry Charles, I read your original post but think this is the first time I've not seen the official site with any comments... anyway here's the P&J Clicky for anyone interested although they missed out the bit about the bearded supporter
  5. Still nothing anywhere from Tel???
  6. Aint it interesting that I get slaughtered from some of my suggestions and views on here, but get proven right time and again. I reckon it's time this site started making "Renegade was Right" T-Shirts, they'd be sold out in no time! B) :( I love that you're trying to take credit for this or you believe any of your pre-selections threads have been anywhere near the team that was picked today!!! It was his player selection that was attacking not the formation... remember he was still playing only 1 up front with Foran & Imrie coming from wide. A long way from your 3-1-3-3 or 2-1-3-4!!
  7. Hibs have a very decent team this season... if they can keep Stokes & Miller fit they could be there or there abouts come the end of the season
  8. Agreed, just back from Amsterdam yesterday and this will be a great way to finish off my holiday if we can keep the goals coming Nothing like a bit of window shopping in Amsterdam to get you up for the game Was with the mrs and she couldn't find anything to take her fancy unfortunately :P

You think you'd be suprised that our fans would actually buy into it but sadly I'm not
  15. I watched the Scotland .:vs:. N.Ireland game but didn't notice him (certainly didn't mention anyone played for ICT). We were mince.... playing 5-3-2 (Renegade would have loved it!!), 1-0 down in the first half from an amazing strike by Paul George signed to Celtic and then at half time we made 3 substitutes and looked like a different team. The forward that came on for Scotland, Kennedy of Killie, looks like a player scored a minute after coming on and then one of the subs (played centre mid, Polworth???) slid a ball through for Kennedy to get his second. Scotland did look average at best but I think that Northern Ireland had a couple of real stars for the furture.. the boy George was wearing number 7 looks like an exceptional talent Does anyone know when the next Scotland game is on? it was Wales vs England the other night but didn't get a chance to watch it
  16. Grant Munro, best and most important

When did any team play 2-3-5?
  19. Harry Chibber replied to davieB's topic in Caley Thistle
There are rumours from inside TCS that Butcher has noted Renegades 3 - 1 - 3 - 3 formation and is considering trying it out this Saturday. Expect Djebi Zadi to return on the left wing.

4-5-1 isn't a defensive formation, if you leave 1 sitting midfielder to protect the defence the remaining 5 players can all be given a license to attack. With your formation Gibson & Graham would crucify us on the wings and all it would take would be a couple of cross-field passes. I understand your urgency for an attacking team but that doesn't just mean throwing all your players as far forward as you can, even Brazil ain't that stoopid! Melbourne FFS!!! Considering there are so few teams that play such an extravegant formation you must find football very boring.

4-5-1, what evidence have to seen that says that style works at home? Could ask you the same about you're 3-1-3-3?? Infact, can you name a team in the world that plays or has played that formation?
  22. Harry Chibber replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Not when you're at home.... you should be dictating the style, tempo of play when you have the 'so called home advantage'.
  23. To be fair to the guy he gets a fair bit of stick on this forum but at least he had the decency to send a detailed reply to every question I put to him. I disagreed with a lot of his points of view but he had an explanation for his opinions and that's all you can ask.
  24. Also Ferguson was also given time by the club to get things right. A lot of our fans don't want to give Butcher that time but instead want instant results on a meagre budget - something that is highly unlikley to happen at ICT almost regardless of who is in charge! To be honest after the whole Brewster saga I amn't sure of how much time is fair.. I still think Brew was on the right lines with a lot of his decisions regarding the squad and some of his signings were excellent but I had blind faith in the guy and if things had come to a head earlier we might still be in the SPL. I am still unconvinced with Butcher, I don't think for a second that anyone has any creditable arguement that it's his fault we were relegated, although some of his decisions were questionable they weren't the reason we were relegated. I am still very angry that 2 of our younger players have been released only to find them at Ross County and being tutored by Brewster... although he has been working on a very small budget I think he could have shown more faith in the players that were at the club before taking in so many additional players.... (or foreigners as my mate calls them). I have enjoyed some great away games but can't remember the last decent home game I was at at. Perfect senario is we have an EPIC FAIL with Butcher, lose all the sweetie rustlers and rebuild under Robbo
  25. Whilst this is the case I reckon I could go and manage Man United or Real Madrid and get them pretty high up the league simply due to the calibre of players they have. Tactics will get you so far but having a good standard of player helps no end. Sadly that isn't the case at ICT due to a slashed budget. bet you couldn't I think you are forgetting all the hard work that put Sir Alex in that position... remember in his first season they were nearly relegated and he was on the verge of getting the sack. Even now people continually question his tactics, against Sunderland for example.. that was one of the worst performances I've seen from a Man U at old trafford in years yet they still managed to get a draw from the game and the fans.... instead of turning on Sir Alex (like that would ever happen) got behind the team when it looked like the game was all but lost and they came back to get a draw. I think that's one of the things our home fans don't realise, in 1 minute a game can change completely - TCS against Falkirk, last game of the season, 1 point keeps us in the SPL, 5 minutes + injury time and fans start vacating the stands..... that's when I lost faith in our "fans" and realised that a lot of people are there to fill their Saturday afternoons or just so they have a common talking point with friends/colleagues... a lot of them probably don't even like football yet our board seem to be favouring them to the fans who were there when there was no roof over the terracing and still applauded the team through wet and very fecking cold winter days...
