  1. I'll buy him the best bottle of Rioja I can find if he keeps us up. ps. we also need to win the Scottish Cup before he gets the vino.

Sounds a bit like a ballerina girl running with the night. It could be endless love, say you, say me. Hello IHE. Truly, that would be the closest thing to heaven. However, by this time on a Friday you're usually dancing on the ceiling. It is not my destiny to be stuck on you all night long (thank feck).
  4. Well let's hope he's right. Feeling confident about this one but at the back of my mind is the scenario that sees us 7 points adrift of the pack at 5pm tomorrow. No, bollox to that...WE WILL WIN THIS GAME!

    Result V Hibs

Of course we will beat Hibs.

    Ouch!

    Surely from the Sunderland Echo?
  7. The quarter-final draw has boiled down to: ICT v Falkirk Dunfermline v Aberdeen St Mirren v Celtic Rangers v Hamilton You would have to think Rangers will make the semis, not sure about Celtic as in their last 6 games against SPL teams their record is: W1 D4 L1. I can definitely see Aberdeen screwing up at the Pars, and of course we will beat Falkirk. So the semi-finalists will be ICT, Dunfermline, St Mirren & Rangers. I'd be happy with Dunfermline in the semi and leave Rangers 'till the final.
  8. Love your sig, btw. Cheers. If you have any video or youtube you'd like as a sig I could probably do it. FOC of course to fellow ICT onliners!
  9. Hmmm...Todd Carty has never bulldozed Lee Wilkie into the advertising hoardings behind the goal at Tannadice?
  10. I certainly didn't expect to be parking at the bottom of a snow-covered slope that's for sure. Marshalls were putting cars down there knowing full well they would get stuck. More could have been done to prevent this from happening. The tractor that pulled us out had a snow plough attachment on the front, so some snow could have been cleared to make a parking area. The cars didn't have to be put to the bottom of the slope, there was plenty of room in the field level with the entrance. Straw could have been put down. A good few hundred/thousand quid was made in parking charges. I think the people paying deserved better than they got. Fine if you weren't inconvenienced. I had 2 bored and starving kids with me. There was a pregnant lady beside me with a child. I'm sure plenty others had plans that had to be cancelled. I've been to a lot of Snowmans (Snowmen?) in the last 20 years and I've never seen such a shambles as this. Put me right off.
  11. I thought that first time I saw the highlights too. Having watched it a few times now I think the ball took a bobble as Russell made the tackle, making it look like he got the ball first. Can't see an appeal being made by the club.

  13. Agree with you 100%. Cup prices for league games for the rest of the season could make a real difference to the support the team gets. An few hundred extra paying customers would help make up for the loss of revenue on the ticket price.
  14. Full time 1-1. Would have taken that at the start of the day TBH.
  15. Accies and Killie losing...St Mirren and Falkirk drawing...us winning. This might turn out to be a very good day indeed.
  16. That'll be my last Snowman ever. Car parking shambles on stage 2 will have put a lot of people off going again I'm sure. Whose bright idea was it to marshall all the two-wheel drive cars to the bottom of a sloping, snow-covered field? 3 hours stuck in a car waiting for a tractor tow is not my idea of a fun day out with the kids. Never again.
  17. Looks like Millbuie for tomorrow then. If memory serves me right, are there a couple of hairpins in quick succession there, fairly close to the spectator car park? If not, any tips for a good vantage point?
  18. Cheers Robbo. Good to hear from you on these boards again.
