  1. na im joshing robbo :thumb04: Hey Robbo's Mate Greg333, glad you joined our forum a couple of hours ago. You seemed to have oriented yourself pretty well given your lack of experience here. Maybe you've been here before in some other guise???
  2. Eh? Join the CTO forum and in your first post 15 minutes later call for the manager's head? Why should we listen to you? Get a few posts under your belt before you start asking for people to lose their jobs.
  3. Well, I'm certainly not happy with the position we're in, but the management will be trying everything to get out of this situation. It's going to take character. There's no place to hide. They know what they have to do to get out of it.
  4. Be fair guys. We were beaten in the first half by a world class goal, otherwise we played really well. We made a couple of errors in the 2nd half but apart from that there was nothing between the teams. I'm sure Brew is working hard to turn things around and get us through this little bad patch.
  5. When I was only young it was the late 1980s and I was watching Highland League football like Caley v Rothes, Caley v Brora etc. so I suppose I can maybe appreciate where we are now more than fans of a younger generation than me. For an Inverness club to be even hovering around the bottom of the Premier League is pretty good considering our population. Just because you've been around longer than me, your say is more important is it? I'll have you know that I was a Caley fan to before the merger so you can shove your I can appreciate it more than the younger fans bullsh*t! ICTodd...what exactly did I say that offended you so much? I was just comparing circumstances when you were young compared to when I was young. Having said that, we can't be that far apart in age if you watched Caley prior to the merger. You're probably late 20s and I'm mid 30s. Hardly a huge age gap.

  7. Small off-topic rant here, the camera vans park at the end of the 2+1 overtaking lanes because they know the lanes are too short for all of the convoy to overtake the slow stuff safely, so they will catch loads of speeders trying to get past HGVs before the overtaking lane runs out. So they must think that it is safer for cars to take their chances on the single carriageway stretches rather than do 70mph on the overtaking lane. Safety Camera my @rse! End of off-topic rant.
  8. I'm sorry, when did we become Barcelona, Man Utd or even the OF? Expecting success at the highest level? As Mr Milne is fond of saying...FACT...We have many players who are not what would be regarded as "SPL quality"...FACT...We are not bottom of the league...FACT(ish)...We will not be relegated...FACT...there are bigger teams than us lower down the leagues who would love to be in our position...AND THAT IS DEFINITELY A FACT! Maybe Brew is doing a fantastic job keeping our heads above water given the resources at his disposal. Maybe he is a dud. I will judge that on whether or not we finish bottom of the league this season, and I don't think we will.
  9. If this is Brew delighted, I'd hate to see him depressed. Brewster "delighted"
  10. It's the context of his celebration that I find distasteful. Perhaps if he were looking solemn doing the cuffs gesture I might have understood, but no, he's jumping around with a big cheesy grin on his face. That's what I find unacceptable.
  11. Brew wanted the money to extend the contracts of our current defensive line. The board decided that the money would be put to a better use:
  12. First half record Second half record We're doing a bit better in the first half this season according to the stats.
  13. Any abuse of Brew going on at the game? If I were him I'd have worn a pink shirt & large spotted bow-tie just to wind them up.
  14. Perfect! Just make sure everyone knows what DUDDSY's prediction was before we start the chant. Oh yeah, Caley to lose again.

    BBC Alba

Got installed today...all very smooth. No problems at all. Now, what game's on this Saturday night?
  16. Yup, and if we don't draw United, It will be another long trip. Semis are at neutral venues, so Tannadice is a likely bet if we get through, unless we draw United in the semi in which case Pittodrie seems like the obvious choice.

Maybe not, I have discovered this from Tesco Direct. If you use the points as "Deals" they're worth ?40, so net cost is only ?35. I've just bought one. You get 4 months of free channels and as long as you cancel it during this time giving them a months notice, you get to keep the dish and box giving you all the Freesat channels.
  19. Is this the same Darren MacKintosh that ran "Harpers Fitness" in Harbour Road a few years ago?
