  1. Yes, I was at that game along with a lot of Caledonian fans as our Scottish Cup game away to Stirling (played at Brockville because of Stirling's artificial pitch) was called off at the last minute so we diverted to Tynecastle. JC's goal is on youtube.
  2. Hi Caley that would be second best i would say i scored my first ever derby goal v Hibs never on tv that was better i reckon but not sure about your total up there(229) for the record hearts 310 scotland 3 livi 17 and dundee 1 (thats why they called me ceefax) ha ha That's what is says on Wikipedia. Thought it sounded a bit low myself!
  3. Which of your 229(?) goals you scored in your pro career is your favourite? must be a contender!
  4. Hi Robbo. Welcome back to the boards. Still think it was a penalty for Killie on Saturday?
  5. Keep unless we can find another club willing to buy him. No point making him redundant, we'd just have to pay up his contract the same as if we keep him. If Pavels and Grant are injured/suspended, we might need him.
  6. I was thinking more like 3-2 over Rangers, Lionel scoring the winner with a mazy run and unstoppable shot in the last minute of extra time.
  7. Great draw. Gives us a chance to dent their confidence a bit as well. Semis: ICT v Aberdeen Rangers v Celtic Final: ICT v Rangers

  9. Better change my signature then. What a night!
  10. Its been posted at least twice now , the draw is tomorrow afternoon . Well that must have been on another thread that I haven't read. Please accept my humble apologies.
  11. Falkirk, Dunfermline/Airdrie or St Mirren/Motherwell at home. Draw will now not take place today due to Forfar/Rangers game being off and will be early in the week instead.
  12. I voted Falkirk but now I'm convinced it will be Killie. As well as the 5 games you mentioned they've also got Hearts and Utd away before the split. I've a feeling ICT, Falkirk & Killie will be very close to each other come the split.
  13. Could the allowable file size for your avatar be increased? I have made some animated gifs featuring ICT goals, saves etc. but the file size ends up about 500-800kB for a 4 second clip, but the current limit is 50kB.
  14. With Lionel in the team it makes sense to have another left back on standby. :thumb04:
  15. Munro in midfield and Lionel in central defence?
  16. Esson Tokely Munro Mihadjuks Djebi-Zadi Proctor Duncan Black Foran Odhiambo Imrie Subs: Fraser, McBain, Rooney, Byrne, Kerr
  17. Christ to feck...this is supposed to be a thread about establishing a club identity and hopefully a signature song. Quelle surprise...it has been hijacked by the knobends who think they know everything there is to know about the History of Scotland. Get a grip, read the title of the topic...AND POST SOMETHING RELEVANT.
  18. This song that started "When we went to Buckie" was great, and could be adapted to suit our current league status. Not sure how it would sit with ex-jaggies during the chorus though.
  19. Caledonia would be awful. Far too cheesy and cringeworthy. I would much prefer an original number, penned by an ICT fan somewhere. How about the Supporters Trust organize a competition and fund a decent prize to the winner?
  20. We need a signature tune like "Hearts, Hearts Glorious Hearts". Catchy, upbeat and free from any bigotry. I think a songwriting competition is a good idea, and if someone can sort a prize (season ticket or home/away kit?) for the winner then there should be a good few entries.
  21. Good luck to Don. Watford have always been my English team so I'm delighted he's gone there rather than Utd, 'Well or suchlike. Quite amusing reading the comments in the Watford Observer link as posted by Tichy_Blacks_Back earlier. Apparently Don is a ?2-3 million rated player who Rangers and Celtic were chasing as a Summer capture on a free, but Watford pulled the rug from under their feet by snapping him up in the January window. Aye right.
  22. If it's got to be 4-4-2 then I'd rather see Imrie as a forward, or perhaps more like an old inside-forward. However, I'd prefer to see him on the left of an attacking 3 in a 3-4-3 formation.
  23. Add Hastings to that list. I remember watching him when he was about 17 playing at Telford St in Inverness Cup games. A very promising attacking left-sided midfielder he was then. Also Black was only 19 when he signed for us. There is a balance to be struck between having local boys and experienced pros from elsewhere in the side, with maybe 3-5 local lads being about right.
