  1. Charles, the BBC seem to be using an observation station at Aviemore for the 5-day forecast for the Inverness area, at least that's what the website says. No wonder it's inaccurate...Aviemore is between 23 and 30 miles from Sneck depending on whether you are a crow or a vehicle driver, and much higher too.
  2. Charles, that's the benefits of a traditional education...even when you're p1ssed on Hogmanay/New Year's Day you can still spell and grammaticise perfectly!
  3. Good article, and as expected most of the punters predict a Dundee win. They must be overlooking the fact that Dundee are rubbish away from Dens and even Morton have a better away record than them. We on the other hand reserve our best stuff for when not playing at TCS. As this is an "away" fixture for both sides, I can't see anything other than an ICT victory tomorrow.
  4. Darren was manager of the Health Club that is now called Bannatynes before he came to the club. And before that he ran Harpers Fitness on Harbour Road, and the less said about that the better
  5. Bow Wow Wow and Transvision Vamp spring to mind.

You forgot the bit about being short-tempered.

Guess you're talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wE_QMNIih7A. Proper muddy pitch too. Fantastic.
  8. There could be an accurate Muppet analogy with our majority shareholder playing the part of Honeydew and the ICT fans playing Beaker.
  9. The "wide open space" feel to our stadium makes generating a decent atmosphere pretty difficult. We'd probably do better if we played the rest of our home games at Grant Street.
  10. Your mate forgot the bit about overlooking a talented, motivated manager who lives locally and has been successful at ICT in the past, because the power(s)-that-be would rather settle grudges than do what's best for the club.
  11. Martin Cameron? Were we not chasing him at some point?
  12. Totally shocked. Shocked by this deal. Shocked by Hastings' treatment by Butcher. Shocked by how far we have fallen so quickly. Brewster may not have been Brian Clough or Alex Ferguson, but I doubt even he could have dragged us down so far so quickly. Picking up County's not-good-enough-for-us defenders!?! Letting Vigurs and Gillespie go??? Aye, but let's not be critical of Butcher because he is honest and gives us all a laugh with comments in the press about red wine and aliens. The way we are heading, we're more likely to be relegated than promoted.
  13. I was trying to remember the words to that earlier but its been so long! Also there was- walking through Dingwall swinging my chain, along came a gypsy and asked my name song. Dont know if it would be edited if I put it up! It goes like this: (individual) When we went to Dingwall (crowd) When we went to Dingwall Someone stopped and asked us Someone stopped and asked us Who we were Who we were So I punched him So I punched him Then I kicked him Then I kicked him Now he's in the hospital Now he's in the hospital On a life support machine On a life support machine Whoh ho Whoh ho Whoh ho Whoh ho Oh Oh Oh Caaaaaley nah nah nah nah nah Caley I'd walk a million miles, for one of your goals Oh Caaaaaley nah nah nah nah nah Hence the title of the Caley fanzine of the early 90s

Has the internet not found its way to Croatia yet???
  15. Total rubbish. Where's Robbo when you need some inspiration & motivation? Oh yeah, he didn't get the job.
  16. Proctor off, Duncan on. Elgin losing again. It's a little-known fact that if Elgin finish bottom of the 3rd this season and next then they are automatically expelled from the SFL. Here's hoping!
  17. Got there late with an almost flat battery in my camera, so just managed to take these crappy 4-second clips. Sky Sports it ain't. Clach_ICT_1.wmv Clach_ICT_2.wmv
  18. Last game of the season, home v Dundee. If that's a title decider it will be a sell-out for sure. Better start saving, DC!
  19. Defo Rankin. Probably the best ICT goal ever, never mind last-minute winners.
  20. Queen of the South, who play in Dumfries. Looking forward to going back to Somerset Park. Never been to Palmerston but hear it's great too.
  21. Wow. U still like inverness after we come down to tynie and fill you's with cheek for 90 mins. H.I.V CAPITAL, H.I.V CAPITAL, H.I.V CAPITAL! Grow up. I'm definitely looking forward to next season. Make a pleasant change to be challenging for a league title rather than wondering if we'll finish 8th/9th/10th/11th/12th in the SPL. As a season-ticket holder through most of the years since Div.3 days, I think the last 5 in the SPL have been the least enjoyable. Bring on the derby!
  22. Nah, it's here.
  23. Nah, he could play with one leg and still be better than Graeme Bennett
  24. Butcher's SPL record so far. Got to be happy with that.

It's strange to be talking about an ICT legend from the distant past, a player who hasn't been seen at TCS for 10 years or so, and then realising he is 3 years younger than Brewster who is still scoring goals in the 1st. Just shows how looking after yourself can lengthen a player's career, though I seem to remember Iain had a few injury problems too.
