  1. Eh? Sorry if i didn't quite explain it properly, I just meant that from our remaining 11 matches, last time around (against all those other clubs earlier in the season at the same grounds) we managed 0 points and we are already 4 points higher than we were last time. As we were beaten by Queens and County both but this time we managed results. Dundee on the other hand are even worse off than last time. Right, I think I get it. But it's pretty irrevelant comparing results now with the same round of games some time ago. Current form is far more important, and on current form Dundee will be lucky to finish 4th, while ICT, County and Dunfermline will be contesting the title.
  2. The pseudo-bosses will be along any minute...
  3. Yep, so can everyone else apart from Dundee. Well Dundee can be relegated if they finish 9th and lose in the play-offs. :) But I will settle for them finishing 2nd as we go straight back up.
  4. Totally agree. That was just a bit of fun really. Still, Dundee have 2 wins from their last 9 games. We have closed the gap on them by 8 points in the last 7 games. I'm probably more worried about County and Dunfermline than I am about Dundee TBH.
  5. Have a look at this. Notice the projected points at season end based on recent form. We romp the league...Dundee to finish 4th :)
  6. So I could buy 28.1% of the club for ?281,000. But 28.1% of what? There doesn't appear to be many assets if the stands are rented out and the land is owned by someone else.
  7. Charles, the BBC seem to be using an observation station at Aviemore for the 5-day forecast for the Inverness area, at least that's what the website says. No wonder it's inaccurate...Aviemore is between 23 and 30 miles from Sneck depending on whether you are a crow or a vehicle driver, and much higher too.
  8. Charles, that's the benefits of a traditional education...even when you're p1ssed on Hogmanay/New Year's Day you can still spell and grammaticise perfectly!
  9. Good article, and as expected most of the punters predict a Dundee win. They must be overlooking the fact that Dundee are rubbish away from Dens and even Morton have a better away record than them. We on the other hand reserve our best stuff for when not playing at TCS. As this is an "away" fixture for both sides, I can't see anything other than an ICT victory tomorrow.
  10. Darren was manager of the Health Club that is now called Bannatynes before he came to the club. And before that he ran Harpers Fitness on Harbour Road, and the less said about that the better
  11. Bow Wow Wow and Transvision Vamp spring to mind.
  12. You forgot the bit about being short-tempered.
  13. Guess you're talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wE_QMNIih7A. Proper muddy pitch too. Fantastic.
  14. There could be an accurate Muppet analogy with our majority shareholder playing the part of Honeydew and the ICT fans playing Beaker.
  15. The "wide open space" feel to our stadium makes generating a decent atmosphere pretty difficult. We'd probably do better if we played the rest of our home games at Grant Street.
  16. Your mate forgot the bit about overlooking a talented, motivated manager who lives locally and has been successful at ICT in the past, because the power(s)-that-be would rather settle grudges than do what's best for the club.
  17. Martin Cameron? Were we not chasing him at some point?
  18. Up for that. Perhaps we could run a poll to see what evening suits (or doesn't suit) everyone best
  19. Totally shocked. Shocked by this deal. Shocked by Hastings' treatment by Butcher. Shocked by how far we have fallen so quickly. Brewster may not have been Brian Clough or Alex Ferguson, but I doubt even he could have dragged us down so far so quickly. Picking up County's not-good-enough-for-us defenders!?! Letting Vigurs and Gillespie go??? Aye, but let's not be critical of Butcher because he is honest and gives us all a laugh with comments in the press about red wine and aliens. The way we are heading, we're more likely to be relegated than promoted.
  20. I was trying to remember the words to that earlier but its been so long! Also there was- walking through Dingwall swinging my chain, along came a gypsy and asked my name song. Dont know if it would be edited if I put it up! It goes like this: (individual) When we went to Dingwall (crowd) When we went to Dingwall Someone stopped and asked us Someone stopped and asked us Who we were Who we were So I punched him So I punched him Then I kicked him Then I kicked him Now he's in the hospital Now he's in the hospital On a life support machine On a life support machine Whoh ho Whoh ho Whoh ho Whoh ho Oh Oh Oh Caaaaaley nah nah nah nah nah Caley I'd walk a million miles, for one of your goals Oh Caaaaaley nah nah nah nah nah Hence the title of the Caley fanzine of the early 90s
