  1. Not much happened on the final day of the window, we did get a wee mention on the BBC Tranfer Deadline Day feature though.
  2. Very confident that we will beat the drop now. Bye bye Falkirk from the SPL.
  3. Radio saying Imrie and Barrowman up front with Foran left midfield.
  4. Well at the moment we just don't know where "speaking out" is going to get us. Hopefully up the league, but it is a bit premature to assume that now Brewster has gone and Butcher is in place everything will be rosy.
  5. You forgot about our best player on the day...Broonie.
  6. There is a lot at steak. Our offal season means we could be for the chop. We are mince in front of goal and poor on the flanks. We did well to chuck Brewster though, and if we can avoid the drop I think a ham shank would be in order.
  7. With 10 games 'till the split we really have to get the finger out now. 6 of them are definitely winnable though...Hibs(H), 'Well(H), Killie(H), Falkirk(A), St Mirren(H) and Accies(H). I think we're looking at taking 15 or 16 points from those 10 games to give us a fighting chance post-split. Still lots to play for.
  8. I'm delighted for Don. Watford have been my English team since the late 70s. Still have great memories of meeting the likes of Luther Blissett and Ross Jenkins on a visit to Vicarage Road back then. Don was always going to leave us at the end of the season. Might as well be to the Championship where he can't do us any harm. Mon the Hornets!
  9. Game lost now. Thanks a lot McBain you feckin plonker.
  10. Roy McBain - OG, gives away a penalty and gets sent off. New boss please take note.
  11. All I Want for Christmas Is a Dukla Prague Away Kit by the fantastic Half Man Half Biscuit. "So he'd send his doting mother up the stairs with the stepladders To get the Subbuteo out of the loft He had all the accessories required for that big match atmosphere The crowd and the dugout and the floodlights too You'd always get palmed off with a headless centre forward And a goalkeeper with no arms and a face like his" Never mind Livingston, Queens Park are in the SPL apparently.
  12. Let's see what everyone thinks at this stage...
  13. From the P&J story: "A board meeting will be held today to determine the next course of action, but the Press and Journal understands guesses veteran winger Wilson, who was freed by Brewster earlier this month, is in the frame to make a surprise return to the Highlands might get the job." I would have thought the other way round too. We're in no position to be giving a rookie manager his first job.

I'm getting a bit p1ssed off with people who post on here in an attempt to sway fans' opinion one way or another relative to an individual or group of people. This forum is for ICT fans to debate amongst themselves. It is not for people "in the know", or those who are mates with influential people to try and sway fans' opinions. To those that are attempting to do that, BUGGER OFF.

Really looking forward to it. Just like the good old days, football highlights on a Saturday night. Wish it was the same every week.

Agree with you there, people should not be judged on the jobs that they do...unless they are taxi drivers :018: :thumb04:

Best post I've read on here in ages, and with the use of perfect English I can safely assume it was not posted by anyone in high office at ICT!
  18. You've already made this point on another thread 20 mins ago, so I see no point in starting a new topic about it.
  19. As the gate receipts are split with Partick - Official Crowd: 1877 Real Crowd: 2690
  20. I agree that this could be the beginning of the end for Smith. In monetary terms, he will effectively be swapping Kris Boyd for Kyle Lafferty. Bonkers. Smith has now put himself under huge pressure to win the league and if he doesn't the gers fans will have his head on a platter.
  21. I was basing that assumption on his abilities as a Football Manager, not his age.
  22. You can't really blame Brewster for not quitting. I wouldn't in his position. This is likely to be his last job in football management, and while I'm sure he's got a few bob, he is unlikely to quit and receive no compo. Maybe a settlement deal can be worked out as what happened at Derby.
  23. Don't worry, Craig. I have found you a new job.
  24. na im joshing robbo :thumb04: Hey Robbo's Mate Greg333, glad you joined our forum a couple of hours ago. You seemed to have oriented yourself pretty well given your lack of experience here. Maybe you've been here before in some other guise??? i cant say i have been here before. OK, you're sworn to secrecy. I understand.
