  1. I finally got round to reading it. I found it an interesting read and pretty sad in parts. Saying that, Steve P had some experiences which we can only dream of. I hope his road to recovery is going well and that we'll see him back in some capacity at Caley sooner rather than later.
  2. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Ain't you the 'ultra'. *yawns* Bit much having a pop on here for people not going to Airdrie. I heard 100 away fans made it - I don't think that's too bad a number considering the time of year etc.
  3. Wonder if a mod could pin this? If people can get from the north down to away games, the more the merrier.
  4. Got the Sunday Mail today. First Scotrail are doing the ?15 anywhere in Scotland again. You need tokens from the Record this week too. Just a wee heads up for everyone planning the away games coming up... Roll on the Killie!
  5. Great to get the win. Here's hoping for a win next week.

I've seen it all on here now. People slagging the board, managers, players, ex players, ex managers, former board members, club officials, ex club officials and now fans. Can this become any more negative?
  7. Hi folks, if you have a look at my original post it's about the possibilties of a Highland League manager who is up and coming being able to make the grade at ICT. I understand some people are unhappy about me creating this thread - CaleyD being one insofar as his thoughts that we should be getting behind the current management team BUT my take on this is that TB and MM won't be at ICT longterm so the reasoning behind it is to gleam any info on young, ambitious managers who could move us forward. I'm reading Peles book at the moment and I admire him for writing it. I admire the fact that he is honest in it and that it casts a bigger picture of the club - our club - which is a small club has, in many ways, lost direction and in some respects ambition. There's a much bigger issue here and we've gone over it countless times on other forums. So, are there any future prospective managers who, in the long run, might fit bill?
  8. I'm planning it. I think we've got a decent chance. I think Terry's cup philosophy of having nothing to lose and for the players to go out and just enjoy the game without the pressure of picking up points is great.
  9. And on a more serious note, I glad we got a win! Does the next round match v Killie not coincide with the 'A Night to Remember' dinner though?
  10. I made the statement of doubting there would be hot food at the game on the basis of the statement in the advert posted above. Think it really appears to be poor communication on behalf of the club. I couldn't make the game even! It was decent listening to open all mics though. I didn't like the comment from one of the comments about Robbo being cut off from civilisation because of the snow though.
  11. "For this game there will be no hot food available to purchase". Does this not suggest that there was going to be no pies?
  12. Sounds like a bargain!! If there isn't any catering tonight then that will be poor show. What I find annoying is that you can't take a flask of bovril in with you and the last 2 games when I bought a bovril it was lukewarm. Poor show indeed. Hopefully it will be a good game and I'm going to follow Alternative Maryhill's idea of a couple of beers and a radio.
  13. I doubt there will be catering. I'm assuming this as I believe that the company uses staff from Edinburgh and in the e-mail from the club offering hospitality packages it states there won't be hot food on offer.
  14. Doubt you'll get catering. I'll miss this one tonight as I can't come up for it. Good to learn there is coverage on the radio.
  15. I'm surprised that Dundee have a smaller squad than us by 6.
  16. Your wit knows no limit! :(
  17. haha! class! Who's bringing the flares for the North Stand at the next home match?
  18. Now THAT'S an advert for summer football!! Gutted I can't make Monday. Hope it's a good one.
  19. At least if we're not playing we're not dropping points!! On a serious note though, I'm having serious football withdrawl.
  20. Ouch. ?17 is pretty steep. Any idea about the time the pitch inspection will take place? I'm having football withdrawl symptoms.
  21. Just had a look on Scotrail: 11:15 Edinburgh Waverley 12:05 Glasgow Queen Street 12:05 Glasgow Queen Street 12:35 Glasgow Central 12:35 Glasgow Central 13:15 Cartsdyke There's a train back at 1717 to central. Cheap day returns from Waverley to Cartsdyke are coming it at ?18.80. Off-peak day returns from Cartsdyke to Central are coming in at ?5.75.
  22. Assume you're heading to it if it's on? I thought the reference to drinking at lunchtime would have given it away. Nice and early in the Norseman, son... I'm going to check the train fares through from Edinburgh tonight - if it's too expensive I may be driving...
  23. Assume you're heading to it if it's on?
  24. Trains are running again albeit on a limited service. Apparently they'll BR back to normal from Sunday when they get the signals sorted.
  25. I'm hoping this game will be going ahead.
