  1. I'm going to make the short journey across the watter to the kingdom. +2 at the moment. *quick edit* Planning the train from Waverley at around half eleven.
  2. Ach well, that's a fiver more left in my pocket every second week and a fiver less in ICT's coffers. At least we're only going to be subjected to this splendid cuisine for another five years, five months and three weeks! Overpriced and woeful quality. I'm saying no more on this issue.
  3. I thought LDZ was great today! His fall/dive in the box was sheer class and pure entertainment. He should definately start again next week. I'd also like to see Barrowman start again the Pars. They're going go be hard to beat.
  4. Take yourself to Subway pre-match or make yourself a piece mun.
  5. :021: My sentiments also SMEE!! Are they REALLY trying to grind this club in to the earth and dirt?
  6. TopSix replied to RossP's topic in Caley Thistle
    He seemed ok today.
  7. Welcome our new caterers! Teas - 20p up, no improvement in quality. All 5 macaroni pies sold out by 2.50 in the away pie stall. Prices up 20p. Staff brought up from Edinburgh. Hurrah for the new regime! I agree with you 100%. Absolutely shocking today. IMHO. Thank God we're away to the pars next week - Stephens Bridies - bring it on! I reckon from now on take a piece to caley park. By the way is the burger van at the front now gone on a permanent basis? I went to get a Macaroni pie, as gordyfromsneck did, BEFORE the game and they were sold out!! Settled for a bovril - which was lukewarm at best. The schoolkids serving weren't the most polite people I've dealt with all week... But hey ho folks - ICT in a nutshell these days. I hope they club make a lot of new money from this deal. If they do then that'll be a positive. Seriously, what is happening with this club? This is a clear indication that the fans should have far more of a say, and be far more involved, in the decision making and running of ICT.
  8. Wow. Well done ICT on giving Lindley Catering a five and a half year deal. The pie was excellent while the piping hot bovril hit the spot.
  9. Drinks on you Caley100
  10. Right, I going to the bookies. 5-0 ICT coming up today.
  11. When the referee stands on the half way line he or she decides if visibility allows a clear enough view of both goals from where they are standing. That's usually the case. So it's up to the ref tbh. The partick game was a wee bit of a joke second half and I would have liked to have seen the game called off (And, of course, we were losing.)
  12. So no special deals for the punters tomorrow? Can I be really cynical and suggest this is why primary kids are getting in for a quid?
  13. TopSix replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
How much were those tops again? 100 quid?
  14. Ouch. That sounds painful.
  15. No doubt QoS will be billing ICT for damage. Who'll be paying for it? TB or the club?
  16. Just working on my fitness...
  17. Tell you what Scotty, if they had signed Hayes and Esson on a five year deal that WOULD have made my day. Free pies on Saturday?
  18. I'm assuming that they're going to be amazing! That's some length of contract they've got btw.
  19. Regardless of the match making the afternoon at Caley park a more pleasant experience can only be a good thing. It's a bit like the trip to Killie - the game might be shte but at least you know you'll get a good munch.
  20. Motherwell pies are great. The rest are so-so
  21. Err... We're not in the SPL. Unfortunately the 'fans' of rangers and Celtic spoli it for the rest of us. I miss terracing.
  22. I've always said he's a good pundit, he's an excellent speaker and is interesting to listen to. Also I haven't really any problem with him doing this stuff, though it does seem a bit strange that he gave up his Setanta job to spend more time with ICT, but has since taken this gig. Actually, I would be very insistent on being called "ICT Manager", IMO it's just good manners to your current employers, and his current position is nothing to be ashamed of. Perhaps it's an indication as to how much he's really bothered...
  23. Great number he's got. Turn up, talk about a game, get paid, go home, job done. It you were in his boots would you be caring what they're putting up in terms of your name? Probably not.
  24. Not sure who he is but hopefully he'll be ok. A lot of referees breaking through at the moment are applying the laws word for word - which is understandable. However the way in which players and managers are behaving towards them is, at times, vile and disgraceful. What's more even disappointing is the fact that the behaviour of players is replicated day in, day out by youngsters. Some of the Cat 1 / FIFA list referees are excellent at having a quiet word with players on the way past. When referees don't approach the game in this manner, and officiate the game by the laws verbatim - they are lambasted. This, in my opinion, is not fair. I wasn't at the game on Saturday, but I'm sure the last thing Alan Muir needed was a manager jumping about in the technical area when he had a game to officiate. I posted before the match that QOS would probably play dirty. Anyway, here's hoping the officials on Saturday do a good job and we get a result.
  25. Get it sorted for Saturday lads! Wee bit of noise won't go amiss.
