Barrowman
Who cares what he does. If that's what turns the county fans on, so be it. Personally I prefer a striker who can score goals.

Sportsmans Dinner
As a fundraiser how about a Fifa 10 tournament at the stadium for the younger fans? Get some of the players in and I'm sure numbers would be decent. Might be an idea for the Easter hols. Entrance could be 3-5 quid with a prize for the winner being a signed shirt and/or a half season ticket and/or a token for the shop? We sometimes run tournaments like this at work - usually over lunchtimes and without payment (or an entry fee which goes to charity) and they prove to be very popular and heavily subscribed.

Shoestring budget and expect Pele style miracles.

I don't think Murray cares too much for ICT...

FEB 8th 2000 - DVD
Got the DVD on order. I called the shop this morning but go no answer. I was wondering if the club or supporters club are going to produce a poster to commemorate the game?

Barrowman joins County
I never thought barrowman got a decent run in the first team to really prove himself. I'm with RiG on this one - I can see him scoring against us.

New announcer dude on the park
I was surprised to read this tonight. No fans = no club.

Iain MacCall's rant
If McCall was swearing at one of the match officials the referee should have sanctioned him by sending him to the stands. He's a horrible little man.
-
Killie roll call
99% sure about going now after missing today's game. What time are people planning to congregate at Central? Anyone going through from Waverley?

A year ago this day
His first and only year. Reckon he'll be offski at the end of the season. League's looking more promising - if we win at the weekend and results go our way..... It certainly would do his management stock no end of good to leave with a positive record, even promot... I'll stop there.

Pele's New Book
Amazon are doing it for about ?12. It's a good read, wee bit repetitive at times but compared to the Charile Brooker book I'm reading at the moment it's joyous.

Robert Eagles
I've never benn impressed by him. First time I saw him playing was the pre-season against the Can Cans where he looked a bit like a five pound beckham. Granted, he scored the goal against county, but it was meant as a cross. I hope he can prove this wrong, work on his fitness and push his way in to the side. Time will tell I suppose.

Away game travel
Not really Alex. I live in Edinburgh so the ?15 return from Waverley to Killie is a good deal.
-
Dennis Wyness and Mo Camara
No to both from me. What we need is a commanding centre half who can shore up the defence.

Away support
Going off topic here, but while I like having a laugh, a day out and cheering on the team, you have to remember you're contributing towards the coffers of other clubs in the division. On this basis; does helping the opposition financially construe not supporting ICT? When we were SPL, I didn't go to parkhead or castle greyskull on the basis that they have a disproportionate (finanical) support with all of the glory hunters they have 'following' them. In fact, this statement is untrue as I did go to the game where we lost 1-0 to Celtic as I scored free tickets. In my opinion, not going to away games - and instead spending the entrance fee I've saved in the club shop - makes me a better supporter. It would be easy not to buy a season ticket - especially as I live in Edinburgh - and just go to away games. On this basis, and considerig how important money is in the game, would this make me a good supporter of the club? If people save the pennies from travelling to away matches and buy a new top or tie or something from ICT, in my opinion, that's savvy supporting. I'm not sure why people are having a pop at one another on here. I think a great deal of tone and sarcasm gets lost in translation. My response to the op being an 'ultra' was written to be taken as a joke. Keep the personal stuff off here and be thankful that our fan site is nothing like that of the peg selling, sheep rustling unwashed caravan dwellers.

Killie roll call
I'm 90% + sure of making this one. Especially with the 15 quid train ticket. What's the plans? Meet up at Glasgow Central?

Merged: I BELIEVE.
In all fairness stranger things have happened, but this season is still the best chance we'll have of promotion for the next couple seasons at least (which probably doesn't say much about our chances for next season if we fail!) so I'm holding out.
