  1. Come on Robbo! We haven't brought through a first team regular since Grant Munro. Most of our 'local' players have been Pele signings from the Highland League and Aberdeen rejects. Most of them are getting on a bit now having served the club well for a number of years. Brewster tried to bring through a few youngsters but that all went a bit t1ts up and one of Butcher's first acts was to sideline them. 100% agreement there with you CaleyStan
  2. Yes. Highlights of the reserves
  3. Quick post to let you know there's a half hour programme on tonight on Rangers TV at 8pm. And before I get any posts about subscribing I get hun TV as part of the virgin media package!!
  4. Here's the link http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7943817.stm
  5. Highly unfair. I think you've only posted this to be controversial. Imrie is great player and he worked his socks off today, chasing every ball. I can only commend his efforts and I think he is a real asset to the club. This really isn't a constructive comment to make and is hardly beneficial to the team. A win is a win. 3 points - all good. Aye... very good Dougie, bye the way you were feckin mince today and why Butch never took you off is a mystery! You think I'm Imrie?! Funniest thing I've heard all day!
  6. :018: :thumb04: I can't believe after what's happened to the team under Butcher that there is still such negativity. Thanks for the support. I think there's too many people on here being a bit silly with their comments for no real reason. With support and guidance he could prove to be a major asset to the club. "Some have even tipped Imrie for a Scotland call-up as he thrives under Terry Butcher, the Scotland assistant manager." link: http://www.theherald.co.uk/sport/headlines...ow_at_Ibrox.php
  7. Positivity is good! I think their's too much inconsistency outwith Rangers and Celtic to make such a judgement. Also there's a few teams in the 1st division who could hold their own against the well

The SFA runs FREE courses to become a referee. I don't understand why there are so many great refs sitting in the stands when they SHOULD be out on the parks doing a better job than what they're seeing!
  9. I suppose a bad day the office is something we all have. I'm fast losing patience with Imrie. He is not a striker and is hugely ineffective.
  10. The referee will meet with the team representatives before the games to select kits. There shouldn't be a clash of strips between teams. Goalkeepers should also be wearing different coloured strips. This is important, especially if a gme is close and a keeper goes up to attack during a corner. Have a look here at law 4 - the player's equipment: http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/football_docum...es.cfm?page=719 Therefore match officials should not clash with either goalkeepers or the strips which the outfield players are wearing. I was surprised to see Alan Combe wearing a black strip today with the officials also in black. Personally, I don't think the black strip is a good idea at all. I would imagine it must be difficult for the players to pick out their team mates quickly - especially when they're on the counter attack. It reminds me of when Manchester United changed their strip at half time in the game they lost against Southampton 3-1. The blue strip may not be to the liking of many fans - I personally don't like it as it is a bit too much like the hun strip BUT it is bright and therefore must be advantageous to our players.
  11. 3 points so can't complain! It certainly wasn't great as a spectacle BUT a win is a win. Falkirk next week - intriguing prospect to say the least.
  12. Fingers crossed!
  13. HMMM Not too sure about this. I just heard on the radio that the Dundee council workers were being sent home and the buses in Dundee have been withdrawn. Think there's a bit of honesty perhaps in what Levein might be saying. Hope the game will go ahead though!
  14. I'm selling a brand new iPod which has not even been opened. Open to offers of around 170
  15. Exactly. I think Brewster has a point in terms of the fans frustrations feeding through to the players on the pitch. I actually feel sorry for him. Seems he's stuck in the middle. What's with the club? They run it like they're a massive Premiership club. They really need to re-engage the fans and get a new approach. IF Brewster had the resources to re-sign Dods, Dargo etc do you think he would not have? We need real fans in charge of the club and bring back the 'togetherness' feeling which was far more evident a few seasons ago. It's easy for us to sit in front of computers and feed negative threads through here but we need a united front and face up to ALL of the problems the club has. SMEE sorry but I don't agree. I don't envy Brewster and the job he's doing. Limited resources, no depth in the squad and yet HE'S to blame? Tokely being out today was probably a big miss. Is Brewster to blame for this?
  16. Is Craig Brewster to blame for Caley's bad form? Is the board nothing to do with this situation?? Get a grip guys and gals and look at the bigger picture. Where's the investment in the club? If a manager has very little financial resources to work with does he have to rely on being a miracle worker? Dargo and Wyness both now at St Mirren. Why? Money. The people in charge are merely running ICT as a business and have no alturistic interest in the club or moving the club forward and upwards.
  17. These posts are hilarious! What is this? Championship manager!? Does anyone posting on here watch the players in training, day in, day out? Get over it guys. As long as Caley stay up then Craig Brewster will be in the job
  18. Mince. Sheer and utter. Where was the manger? I didn't see him in the technical area giving instructions. What's with the place? It's grim. The stewards look like prison wardens eyeballing you if you even shout. There's no FUN about the place. No banter. Face facts, with the glasgow teams still in the SPL we will never sniff winning the league. The aim each year is consolidation. I'm getting really fed up with the whole situation. the club need to re-evaluate their stances on a great many things. It's no wonder the crowds are so poor. ICT feels more like a business then a club these days. Sorry about the rant but I'm annoyed.
  19. Barry tried today. There was a lack of fight about the team. Where's Brewster? I didn't see him much in the technical area. Barry tried today
  20. Anyone know the cost of the tickets for this one?
  21. Dear oh dear the referee tomorrow is going to be Iain Brines...
  22. dear o dear we're making a meal of this...
  23. It could also indicate that the Falkirk fans are not happy with what they see. Falkirk wanted ?21 to get in! Put the price of the train ticket on top, lunch, pie(s), hotdogs, drinks and booze on top and it makes for one EXPENSIVE day
  24. Some great points there. I've got to say that the stewarding issue is a huge problem. The club should be getting it sorted out. After all, no fans - no club. The police should be chucking the people out who are in the North stand supporting other teams
  25. Absolute, complete and utter sucking fhite is the only way to describe the game today. Never seen such a non-game at TCS ever. Falkirk were deserving of the 3 points. TIme for "special brew" to go. We should have never entertained him anf taken him back. At BEST he's a good fitness coach - nothing more, nothing less. Caley should he getting in a few good players - not the likes of Imrie. Where's the AMBITION? We need a chnge of direction and a serious, yet stable, injection of ambition. SACK THE BOARD Local people should be supporting this great club. I travel 400 miles to see them Sack the board :crazy07:
